Short glass fibre‐reinforced polyamide 6 and polyamide 11 (PA 6 and PA 11) with and without a solid lubricant of polytetrafluoroethylene and metal powders (e.g., bronze) and copper as fillers were formulated and characterised for their compositional and mechanical properties. A tribological evaluation of these composites' abrasive wear was carried out by abrading a polymer pin against 80 grade (175 um) silicon carbide (SiC) paper under single‐pass conditions at various loads. It was observed that the fibre reinforcement reduced the abrasive wear resistance of virgin polymers. A combination of fibre and particulate fillers was further detrimental in this respect. Efforts were made to correlate the wear performance with the ductility factor, fracture toughness, and fracture energy in the case of PA 6 and its composites. 相似文献

The physical properties found during the swelling process of poly(2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) and of copolymers of HEMA with mono‐n‐methyl itaconate, synthesized by solution and bulk polymerization, are reported. The swelling kinetics were followed at four different temperatures (295, 300, 305 and 310 K). Experimental data follow second‐order swelling kinetics, from where the kinetic rate constant k∞ and the swelling capacity at equilibrium W∞ were calculated as a function of temperature. The kinetic rate constant obeys Arrhenius behaviour. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a group of special endogenous long non-coding RNAs which are highly stable in the circulation, and, thus, more suitable as new biomarkers of colorectal cancer (CRC). The aim of our study was to explore the plasma expression levels of four circRNAs: has_circ_0001445, hsa_circ_0003028, hsa_circ_0007915 and hsa_circ_0008717 in patients with CRC and to evaluate their associations with clinicopathological characteristics and the clinical outcome of the patients. CircRNAs were extracted from patients’ plasma obtained prior to chemotherapy. Their expression levels were measured by qPCR and calculated applying the 2−ΔΔCt method. The levels of all four circRNAs were significantly increased in the plasma of CRC patients. At the optimal cut-off values hsa_circ_0001445 and hsa_circ_0007915 in plasma could significantly distinguish between patients with or without metastatic CRC with 92.56% sensitivity and 42.86% specificity, and with 86.07% sensitivity and 57.14% specificity, respectively. The mean overall survival (OS) of patients with high/intermediate expression of hsa_circ_0001445 was 30 months, significantly higher in comparison with the mean OS of the patients with low expression—20 months (log-rank test, p = 0.034). In multivariate Cox regression analysis, the low levels of hsa_circ_0001445 were also associated with shorter survival (HR = 1.59, 95% CI: 1.02–2.47, p = 0.040). A prognostic significance of hsa_circ_0001445 for patients with metastatic CRC was established. 相似文献

The curing reactions of an epoxy system composed of a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (BADGE n=0) and m‐xylylenediamine (m‐XDA) were studied. Two models, the first based solely on chemical kinetics and the second accounting for diffusion, were used and compared to the experimental data. The epoxy resin was used as received in a first series of experiments. In a second series of experiments, the resin was purified in vacuo (180°C and 1 mmHg). The inclusion of a diffusion factor in the second model allowed for the cure kinetics to be predicted over the whole range of conversion covering both pre‐ and postvitrification stages. The investigation was made in the temperature range 50–110°C, which is considered optimum for the isothermal curing of the epoxy system studied. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. This paper proposes a new technique for estimating phasors during the transient phenomena in the electrical power systems. Unlike traditional Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) that estimates phasors at process level, the proposed technique estimates phasors at bay level. The estimation technique relies on a robust recursive Kalman–Filtering, which is employed for computing the phasors based on the time-critical IEC 61850-9-2 Sampled Measured Values casted by the substation Merging Units (MUs). Many evolution tests of the proposed technique have been carried out for both stationary and transient phenomena in power systems to determine the accuracy of the measurements obtained at various conditions. The proposed estimator can produce phasors at bay level with reporting rate of 100 frames per second, which is encouraged in IEEE Std C37.118 and can satisfy higher accuracies than provided by the traditional Phasor Measurement Units, which are 0.01 degree and 0.01% for phase and magnitude, respectively. 相似文献

IEEE 802.11网络中的BSS切换不可避免地产生丢包问题,这会造成网络性能严重下降,进而限制了移动环境下WLAN的广泛应用。为了降低切换过程中的丢包率,本文提出了一种在数据链路层、由无线链路事件触发的用户空间平滑切换机制,并且在基于嵌入式Linux平台的无线AP上进行了实现。大量的实验结果表明,在无需对当前IEEE 802.11协议进行改动的前提下,新切换机制可以保证在允许的时延范围内,较大地降低丢包率,提高网络性能,并且可以支持平滑漫游。改进的平滑切换机制独立于驱动,具有良好的可移植性,可以在现有AP上增量添加,而无需更改STA,降低了升级成本。 相似文献
