Infra-red measurements of the dichroic ratio of atactic polystyrene and poly(2,6-dimethyl 1,4-phenylene oxide) absorption bands provide a valuable method for the determination of orientation as well as relaxation of chains of both polymers during stretching of their compatible blends. Influence of strain rate, temperature of stretching, and molecular weight of the polymers on orientation of both polymer chains in blends containing up to 35% PPO has been studied. Orientation relaxation for both polymers has been analysed using Lodge's constitutive equation. Master curves have been obtained for PPO and PS in the blends at a reference temperature T0 = Tg + 10°C. Results are interpreted in terms of an hindrance of relaxation of PS chains induced by interaction with a highly-oriented PPO network which slowly relaxes.  相似文献

A mathematical model for the pyrolysis reaction of polystyrene (PS) in a semi-batch reactor has been presented. The thermal degradation of PS was flexibly modeled by a combination of random and specific chain-end scissions. Numerical simulation was used to investigate the effect of operating conditions on the PS products spectrum, the results of which were validated by the experimental data. It was found that as the reaction temperature increased (decreased), the monomer fraction in the products became lower (higher) while the trimer higher (lower). No significant variation in the product composition was, however, observed while constant temperature was maintained. These results indicate the reaction temperature is an effective manipulated variable for the control of products composition of PS pyrolysis. The calculation of the optimum temperature trajectories through the optimization study can thus be of interest for achieving productivity enhancement in plastics pyrolysis processes. This paper deals with in situ compatibilization of PE/PS blends via Friedel-Crafts reaction, performed at the interphase. Two polyethylenes having different molecular weights, and the same PS, were used along a wide range of catalyst concentration. The influence of the graft copolymer architecture and content on the efficiency of blend compatibilization was studied. The emulsifying effect, morphological aspects and mechanical behavior were also assessed for these blends. The amount of copolymer formed increases with catalyst concentration and the short chain length fraction of the homopolymers. The high molecular weight (MW) copolymers behaved as better compatibilizers as they showed, at the cmc, greater graft copolymer concentration than the low MW ones. A substantial increase in interfacial adhesion and particle size reduction was observed, even at catalyst concentrations as low as 0.3 wt%. In correspondence, mechanical properties, like ductility and yield strength, were enhanced by the effect of this Friedel-Crafts reaction's compatibilization.  相似文献

开发了用O3氧化钝化多孔Si(PS)的实用工艺方法。O3的基本作用是对Si-Hx和Si悬挂键(DB)的充分氧化,经过随后158d贮存的老化实验,得到了表面Si—H,键完全被Si-O3膜和Si-烷基膜所替代并覆盖的PS,其光致发光(PL)强度达到稳定的增强,这归因于PS纳米晶粒的表面势垒高度的提高以及量子效率的提高。  相似文献

This paper considers a cognitive radio–assisted wireless information and power transfer system consisting of multipair of transceiver in primary network and 2‐hop relaying link in secondary network. In this investigation, a decoded‐and‐forward–assisted relay node and power splitting protocol are deployed to obtain ability of wireless energy transfer. The relay node harvests energy from the radio frequency signals of the secondary transmitter and primary transmitters in data transmission to the destination by reusing the licensed spectrum resource. We propose 2 policies for wireless power transfer at the relay, namely, (1) multisource power transfer and (2) single‐source power transfer. To evaluate performance under energy harvesting regime, we derive the closed‐form outage probability expressions and achievable throughput of the secondary network in delay‐limited transmission mode. In addition, we investigate the impact of various system parameters including number of primary transceivers, primary outage threshold, and position arrangement of nodes in primary transceivers on the outage performance of the proposed scheme. Furthermore, we evaluate the system energy efficiency to show trade‐off metric of energy consumption and throughput. Performance results are presented to validate our theoretical derivation and illustrate the impacts of various system parameters. An important result is that the secondary network is more beneficial than harmful from the primary interference under power constraint and reasonable node location arrangement.  相似文献

针对非信任双向中继网络的能量受限和信息安全问题,该文提出一种基于无线携能通信(SWIPT)与人工噪声辅助的物理层安全传输方案。该方案中的非信任中继采用功率分割(PS)策略辅助合法用户进行保密通信,而全双工干扰机在进行能量采集的同时发送人工噪声以确保系统安全。以最大化系统保密性能为目标,优化了中继的PS因子,推导了保密和速率的解析式及高信噪比条件下最佳PS因子的闭式解。特别针对非理想信道状态信息的情况,分析了信道估计误差对系统保密性能的影响。仿真结果验证了理论推导的正确性,并证明了所提的基于PS策略的干扰机协同传输方案相比采用时间切换(TS)策略或目的节点协同干扰的方案具有更优的保密性能。

1-read/1-write (1R1W) register file (RF) is a popular memory configuration in modern feature rich SoCs requiring significant amount of embedded memory. A memory compiler is constructed using the 8T RF bitcell spanning a range of instances from 32 b to 72 Kb. An 8T low-leakage bitcell of 0.106 μm2 is used in a 14 nm FinFET technology with a 70 nm contacted gate pitch for high-density (HD) two-port (TP) RF memory compiler which achieves 5.66 Mb/mm2 array density for a 72 Kb array which is the highest reported density in 14 nm FinFET technology. The density improvement is achieved by using techniques such as leaf-cell optimization (eliminating transistors), better architectural planning, top level connectivity through leaf-cell abutment and minimizing the number of unique leaf-cells. These techniques are fully compatible with memory compiler usage over the required span. Leakage power is minimized by using power-switches without degrading the density mentioned above. Self-induced supply voltage collapse technique is applied for write and a four stack static keeper is used for read Vmin improvement. Fabricated test chips using 14 nm process have demonstrated 2.33 GHz performance at 1.1 V/25 °C operation. Overall Vmin of 550 mV is achieved with this design at 25 °C. The inbuilt power-switch improves leakage power by 12x in simulation. Approximately 8% die area of a leading 14 nm SoC in commercialization is occupied by these compiled RF instances.  相似文献
