A pseudo-alloy PS45/CuAl8 composite coating was sprayed on steel substrate by high-velocity activated arc spraying (HVAA) process. Its sliding wear behavior at room temperature was evaluated by M-2000 wear tester. For comparison, a single CuAl8 coating was also prepared and tested under the same conditions. It is found that the pseudo-alloy composite coating consists of α-Cu and γ-Ni metallic matrix phases together with homogenously distributed minor Al 2 O 3 , Cr 2 O 3 oxide phases. Moreover, pseudo-alloy coating possesses much better sliding wear resistance than CuAl8 coating due to the enhanced hardness and microstructural homogenization. Fatigue wear and abrasive wear are responsible for the wear-down mechanism of the pseudo-alloy coating. 相似文献
We developed a simple and inexpensive synthesis of a large-scale close-packed monolayer of polystyrene sphere arrays, which have a variety of applications. The influence of three step spin speeds, spinning time, solution quantity and relative humidity is studied in order to achieve a large area close-packed monolayer.A relatively high surface coverage and uniform monolayer of PS spheres in the range of 85%–90% are achieved by appropriate control of the preparative parameters. Also the effect of the oxygen plasma etching process on the reduction of PS spheres has been studied. We conclude that it can be useful in industrial applications, because of the fabrication speed, surface coverage, control over PS spheres and cost of the process. 相似文献
Though condensed between the stages of design and completion, the conventional process of designing a building is time consuming, involving various stakeholders, planning processes and a wide team of consultants and contractors. What happens, though, if the time period of an architect's involvement is expanded? How might a more process-orientated approach shift the role of the architect? Tobias Armborst, Daniel D'Oca and Georgeen Theodore , principals of Interboro Partners in New York, describe how they have developed projects that have sought opportunities in expanding the timescale and remit of traditional practice. 相似文献
Three different dopants are used to fabricate electrospun dopants/polystyrene (dopants/PS) composite fibers from PS solution and PS sol. The relative humidity and the influence of the dopants on the morphologies, diameter, porous structures, and dopant distribution of electrospun PS fibers are investigated. Compared to those obtained from PS solution, electrospun dopants/PS composite fibers from PS sol with hollow‐porous and multichannel hollow‐porous structures present significant advantages due to the multi‐stage degree of interfacial structure and diversity of the internal environment. In comparison to coaxial electrospun PS fibers, the electrospun dopants/PS composite fibers from PS sol obtained in one step have an improved yield and a simplified technological process simultaneously, leading to significant competitiveness in fields such as catalysis, fluidics gas storage, and sensing.
In this study, changes of intramuscular phospholipids and free fatty acids were tracked during the processing of Nanjing dry-cured duck. Phospholipids were identified and quantified by high performance liquid chromatography combined with UV and evaporative light scattering detectors. The types and quantities of free fatty acids and fatty acids derived from phospholipids were analyzed by capillary gas chromatography. The results showed that raw duck meat had high quantities of phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylcholine (37.95% and 54.07% of total phospholipids, respectively), which contained high percentages of polysaturated fatty acids. The percentages of total phospholipids, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylcholine decreased during processing, with a concomitant increase in quantities of free fatty acids. The lipolysis of phospholipids, especially phosphatidylethanolamine is the main contributor to the increase of free fatty acids. 相似文献
