A simple dynamic biasing scheme to extend the input/output range of cascode amplifiers is introduced. It requires minimum extra hardware and no additional power consumption. A dynamic biased telescopic op-amp is discussed as an application example. Experimental results of a fabricated test chip in 0.5 μm CMOS technology are presented that verify the proposed technique.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new sparse framework for the design of the behavioral model and digital predistorter of a broadband power amplifier (PA). We start by formulating the Volterra kernel to multidimensional memory polynomial by considering the high‐order dynamic truncation of the Volterra model. Then we show how an estimate of the most significant coefficients may be obtained using a matching pursuit (MPT) algorithm by exploiting the sparsity of the model. After the indices of the nonzero coefficients are roughly estimated, the block exact Householder inverse QR‐decomposition‐based recursive least squares (HIQRD‐RLS) algorithm is utilized to estimate the sparse model complex coefficients. For broadband nonlinear PAs, the proposed approach is demonstrated to achieve the best performance among the well‐known traditional approaches in terms of in‐band and out‐of‐band specifications. The proposed approach is also validated by evaluating the digital predistortion (DPD) performance on a Class‐AB PA in terms of adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR). © 2014 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Transconductance of rail‐to‐rail input stages in low‐voltage operational amplifiers depends on the presence of a large common mode input signal. Corrections must be implemented in order to correct it. Nevertheless, techniques actually used, based on switching or feedforward, still give relevant deviation from the constant transconductance condition. In this paper we present a new architecture based on extraction and feedback to the gain control, directly of the value of the transconductance of the amplifier to be controlled. This quantity does not contain the signal to be amplified, and thus once fed back, it does not affect the overall stage gain. A ‘reciprocal’ circuit, which performs the 1/x mathematical function, is introduced in order to achieve this extraction. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

介绍了一个200kHz信号带宽、用于低中频结构GSM射频接收机的高精度∑△调制器.该调制器采用3阶单环单比特的结构,电路使用全差分开关电容结构实现,并在0.6μm 2P2M CMOS 工艺下流片验证.调制器使用全差分±1V参考电压,工作在26MHz采样频率,过采样率为64.测试结果表明,在200kHz信号带宽内,调制器达到80.6dB动态范围,峰值SNDR达到71.8dB,峰值SNR达到73.9dB.整个调制器电源电压为5V,静态功耗为15mW.  相似文献

随着未来无线通信需求的增长,通信系统需适用更多的频带和标准。 针对可重构功率放大器各模式下工作带宽窄的缺 点,本文基于简化实频技术和可重构理论,提出了一种拓展可重构功率放大器工作带宽的设计方法。 通过在可重构理论中融入 简化实频法的宽带设计方法,在设计过程中加入新的误差函数,对可变模式下的可重构电路结构进行判别,进而实现可重构宽 带功率放大器设计。 为了验证该方法的有效性,并满足实际设计指标,采用中国科学院微电子研究所自主研发的 LDMOS 晶体 管设计并制作了适用于 GSM 网络和 LTE 网络的一个频率可切换的宽频可重构功率放大器。 测试结果表明,该可重构功率放大 器在不同模式下可分别工作在 0. 6~ 1. 1 GHz 和 1. 1~ 1. 6 GHz 频段,饱和输出功率超过 40 dBm,漏极效率(DE)在 50% ~ 60%之 间。 因此,本文提出的设计方法可以降低可重构宽带功率放大器的设计难度,较好的发挥晶体管性能,降低成本,在实际基站射 频电路设计中具有很好的应用意义。  相似文献

Tumor adaptation-originated tumor tolerance that compensatory mechanisms (e.g., isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) mutation) jointly shape is the dominant obstacle of ROS therapy. Currently, targeting a single pathway fails to fundamentally reverse the complex milieu and diminish tumor adaptation. Herein, a multichannel sonocatalysis amplifier is engineered via one-pot gas diffusion method to attenuate IDH1-mutated cholangiocarcinoma plasticity and tolerance to ROS therapy, wherein triptolide and IR780 are co-loaded in DSPE-mPEG-modified CaCO3 nanoparticles. Triptolide can blockade Nrf2 to cut off glutathione biosynthesis via blockading proteomic communication, and disrupt redox homeostasis to potentiate IR780-mediated sonocatalytic ROS production. ROS-induced mitochondria damages disrupt Ca2+ homeostasis and in turn aggravate ROS accumulation, which cooperates with sonocatalysis and Nrf2 blockade to reprogram mitochondrial energy and substance metabolism (e.g., adenosine triphosphatase and glutathione), hinder DNA self-repair, and impair IDH1-mutation-asired tolerance. Systematic experiments support that these actions in such multichannel sonocatalysis amplifiers indeed disrupt Ca2+/redox homeostasis to disarm robust tumor plasticity and IDH1-mutation-induced tolerance to sonocatalysis therapy against IDH1-mutated cholangiocarcinoma progression. Briefly, the sonocatalysis amplifiers pave a comprehensive avenue to reprogram tumor metabolism, target tumor vulnerability, and attenuate tumor plasticity against genomic instability-raised treatment adaptation.  相似文献

Based on a self-developed A1GaN/GaN HEMT with 2.5 mm gate width technology on a SiC substrate, an X-band GaN combined solid-state power amplifier module is fabricated. The module consists of an AIGaN/GaN HEMT, Wilkinson power couplers, DC-bias circuit and microstrip line. For each amplifier, we use a bipolar DC power source. Special RC networks at the input and output and a resistor between the DC power source and the gate of the transistor at the input are used for cancellation of self-oscillation and crosstalk of low-frequency of each amplifier. At the same time, branches of length 3λ/4 for Wilkinson power couplers are designed for the elimination of self-oscillation of the two amplifiers. Microstrip stub lines are used for input matching and output matching. Under Vds = 27 V, Vgs = -4.0 V, CW operating conditions at 8 GHz, the amplifier module exhibits a line gain of 5.6 dB with power added efficiency of 23.4%, and output power of 41.46 dBm (14 W), and the power gain compression is 3 dB. Between 8 and 8.5 GHz, the variation of output power is less than 1.5 dB.  相似文献

This work presents a low cost 3-D location system based on ultrasonics and implemented with low-cost FPGAs. The mobile nodes of the system use distance estimation to several anchor points in order to trilaterate their positions with an accuracy of few centimeters. The ultrasonic transducers are handled with an ad hoc conditioning circuit based on instrumental amplifiers which provides high amplification keeping low noise. The proposed system is autonomous so there is no need of an external PC or other devices. A prototype of the system has been attached to a mobile robot to check the viability of the location system in a real scenario.  相似文献
