Planning considerations for domestic replacement satellites

Several domestic satellite systems have been more than 10 years in operation. During this time, the world has experienced a dramatic growth in communication. While the demand for more telephony and data circuits and television channels is still on the rise, new methods of signal transmission and circuit compression have been developed which may balance or reduce the need for more satellite trunk capacity. And while whole national networks are converting to digital transmission, new transmission media like optical fibre, are finding application, and may take over some of the heavy traffic routes previously carried by satellite. On the other side, business data communication between roof-top terminals, thin route traffic to remote users, television distribution by direct satellite broadcasting are becoming more popular and satellite land mobile communication may soon be a reality. Thus the domestic satellite's role appears to be slowly changing towards thin route and mobile traffic and DBS-type distribution and perhaps even radio position determination. System planners are adapting to the new trends in satellite communication and are trying to accommodate the various service payloads on a single satellite. This article discusses some aspects of the emerging multi-purpose domestic satellite, which carries fixed and mobile services, TV direct broadcasting and radio position determination, in view of network digitalization, network expansion, circuit compression, synchronization. The discussion centres on transponder supply and demand, satellite replenishment, K_u-band vs. C-band for TV direct satellite broadcasting, choice of modulation/multiple access for mobile communication, and expected accuracy in radio position determination.

中部地区水资源总量为39.61亿m3。城市用水与农业、生态用水矛盾突出,城市供水能力不足,水污染问题严重,地下水超采严重,水资源开发利用不协调。该区水资源已无进一步开发利用的潜力,需通过调水工程解决缺水问题。水资源配置思路为从地处松花江上游的丰满水库引水,增加供水能力。     

A generalized gamma distribution with application to drought data

Gamma distributions are some of the most popular models for hydrological processes. In this paper, a very flexible family which contains the gamma distribution as a particular case is introduced. Evidence of flexibility is shown by examining the shape of its probability density function (pdf). A treatment of the mathematical properties is provided by deriving expressions for the n th moment. Estimation and simulation issues are also considered. Finally, a detailed application to drought data from the State of Nebraska is illustrated.     

THERMAL RADIATION EFFECTS ON THE COMBUSTION BEHAVIOR OF POROUS CHAR PARTICLES

The effects of thermal radiation on the pseudosteady state and transient behavior of porous char particles exposed to an oxygen containing environment are investigated. The numerical simulation results show that particles that do not interchange radiant energy with their environment are characterized by wider ambient temperature regions where multiple steady states exist, higher combustion rates, and lower burning times

大庆油田杏1-3区三次加密试验区剩余油分布研究

通过对试验区近年完钻的检查井各单砂层水淹状况及其影响因素的分析。利用神经网络模式识别方法建立起单层剩余油识别模型，在此基础上对三次加密试验区各小层剩余油分布进行研究，总结出各类油层剩余油分布特征及成因类型，并分析了试验区剩余油潜力分布，从而为三次加密布井及射孔方案编制提供了可靠的依据。     

同步辐射x射线光刻制作深亚微米T形栅

x射线光刻非常适合用于深亚微米T形栅的制作,这是因为它的高分辨率、大的曝光视场和高的生产效率足以满足MMIC制造工艺的要求。本文中我们首先对我们的x射线掩模制造工艺进行介绍,然后论述了一种用于制造深亚微米T形栅的两层胶工艺,介绍了所取得的一些研究结果,最后对国内的深亚微米光刻现状进行了简要分析。     

明渠湍流床面附近跃移层面颗粒浓度垂线分布

本文以动理学理论的Boltzmann方程为基础，考虑明渠湍流床面附近猝发喷射和清扫运动对跃移层内运动颗粒的不同作用，分析了明渠中泥沙颗粒浓度垂线分布问题，得到了适用于包括跃移层、悬移层在内的统一浓度垂线分布公式。文中着重研究了跃移层内运动颗粒的浓度垂线分布，并将本文结果与实测跃移层内浓度垂线分布及实测跃移层顶部浓度进行了对比，结果表明理论与实验两者符合较好。     

Recent developments of high-performance NEOMAX magnets

For further improvement in achieving extremely high magnetic properties of Nd- Fe- B sintered magnets, extensive investigation has been done to densify the magnet up to the theoretical value, to increase the volume fraction of the Nd ₂Fe₁₄B matrix phase, and to achieve a high degree of alignment. By controlling chemical composition and the amount of constituent phases,improving particle size distribution, and adopting the isostatic pressing method to get better alignment of fine particles, we have succeeded in obtaining a high-performance magnet having residual flux density (B_r) of 1.495 T (14.95 kG), maximum energy product [(BH)_max] of 431 kj/m³ (54.2 MGOe), and intrinsic coercivity (iH_c) of 845 kA/m (10.62 kOe).
