Periodic Green's function (PGF) of an infinite 1-D periodic array of line sources in planar multilayered media is calculated by the use of the of the 3-level discrete complex image method (DCIM) together with the surface wave pole (SWP) extraction. The Ewald's method is then applied to accelerate the evaluation of the PGF. The recipe to choose the Ewald's splitting parameter is also given. It is shown that the Ewald's transformation needs a few terms to approximate the PGF with high accuracy. The SWP contributions, which are extracted before the DCIM application, are added to this approximation. The spatial domain surface wave pole contributions are observed to be highly oscillatory and converge to zero. The numerical results are provided to demonstrate the efficiency and the accuracy of the procedure followed. 相似文献

The strategy and status of a process simulator for the flexible manufacture of HgCdTe infrared focal plane arrays is described.
It has capabilities to simulate Hg vacancy and interstitial effects and cation impurity diffusion, for various boundary conditions
in one dimension. Numerical complexity of these problems stems from the necessity of solving diffusion equations for each
defect that are coupled to each other via nonlinear interaction terms. The simulator has already led to the prediction of
heretofore unexplained experimental data. Current extensions of the one-dimensional simulator planned over the next few years
include the addition of Te antisites, antisite-Hg vacancy pairs, and In-Hg vacancy pairs, ion implantation, and various energetic
processes (such as ion milling). The sequential effect of various processes will be possible with the input to the simulator

The design and analog VLSI implementation of a recurrent neural network with integrated temporal learning is presented. The learning algorithm is forward in time, and is implemented strictly as instantaneous, local weight updates. PSpice simulations of networks with 4 to 6 neurons demonstrate robust learning of trajectory generation and classification tasks. A scalable 2-D VLSI architecture is described and a prototupe 4-neuron recurrent neural network with learning has subsequently been fabricated in MOSIS TinyChip 2 micron technology. Experimental results of the chip validate the learning performance with convergence in the millisecond range. Specific experimental results of learning circular and figure-8 dynamic trajectories are included. 相似文献
