Photochromic fulgides are UHV‐deposited in ultrathin films exhibiting intrinsic nanostructures. The two isomeric states (C and E) are detected in absorption via scanning near‐field optical microscopy (SNOM). The optical image contrast measured in SNOM corresponds to the nanostructure topography observed in atomic force microscopy. Nano‐optical reversible switching of individual nanostructures is demonstrated and possible applications to rewritable optical recording on the nanoscale are discussed. 相似文献

Photochromic diarylethene derivatives bearing hydrophilic N,N-bis(2-(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl)sulfonamide (SO2NTEG2) ( 1 – 3 ) or myo-inositol ( 4 – 6 ) substituents were synthesized. Although the solubility in aqueous solution of the derivatives containing the four tri(ethylene glycol) chains was relatively poor, the solubility was improved by introducing two myo-inositol residues. The derivatives could be dissolved even in pure water and underwent photochromism upon alternate irradiation with ultraviolet (UV) and visible light, in both organic and aqueous solutions. The absorption maxima of the open- and closed-ring isomers of these derivatives and the photostationary conversion ratios from the open- to the closed-ring isomers upon UV irradiation did not change much, even when the solvent polarity was changed. These results indicate that the diarylethene derivatives are mono-molecularly dissolved in aqueous solution and that intermolecular interactions between the derivatives are negligible when the concentration is less than 1×10−4 mol⋅L−1. 相似文献

多阶存储是一种无需减小记录波长或增大数值孔径而显著提高光存储容量的新颖方法。对光致变色材料采用不同的光能量写人,读出时则具有不同的吸收率,该特性可用来实现多阶数据存储。在研究光致变色材料曝光特性的基础上,提出了基于光致变色原理的多阶存储数学模型,该模型反映了光致变色材料吸收率与曝光量之间的非线性关系,为光致变色材料的多阶存储写策略的优化提供了理论依据。在4阶和8阶静态存储实验结果中,各信号峰值之间有明显的阶次变化,且信号之间没有交叠现象,从而验证了利用该材料进行多阶存储的可行性。将该多阶技术应用在实际光盘存储中,可实现两至三倍于普通光盘容量的高密度存储。 相似文献

Abstract— A photon‐mode full‐color rewritable image has been demonstrated. Three types of photochromic fulgides having yellow, magenta, and cyan color were used as rewritable dyes. Photochromic fulgides were mixed and coated on a white polyethylene terephthalate film. Upon irradiation with three (red, green, and blue) visible light beams, a wide hue extent, a high white reflectance of over 80%, and a high contrast ratio of over 45:1 were attained. A full‐color image retains its colors for over 1 hour under standard‐office‐brightness conditions (700 lx). The photochemical coloration‐decoloration cycles could be repeated over 100 times without substantial losses. 相似文献

Transparent and mechanically reliable plastic was developed by reinforcing styrene-acrylonitrile polymer (SAP) with electrospun glass nanofibers (EGN). The physical inclusion of strontium aluminate nanoparticles (SAN) produced long-persistent photoluminescent and photochromic EGN@SAP bricks or smart windows. EGN were fabricated by electrospinning technique and incorporated as a toughening mediator into styrene-acrylonitrile plastic to boost its mechanical properties. Transparency of EGN@SAP with the capacity to shift to green under ultraviolet (UV) illumination was verified using photoluminescence analysis and CIE Lab parameters. EGN@SAP with low content of SAN exhibited immediate reversibility of the photochromic feature, proving fluorescence emission. Afterglow emission from EGN@SAP embedded with high concentration of SAN persisted for longer time and was less easily reversed. After excitation at 365 nm, the emission peaked at 519 nm. Increasing the SAN content resulted in improved hydrophobicity and UV protection. Diameter measurements of SAN (6–14 nm) and EGN (75–300 nm) were taken utilizing transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. EGN and EGN@SAP bricks were analyzed for their morphological characteristics using a variety of analytical techniques. The scratch resistance of EGN@SAP bricks containing SAN was enhanced in comparison to SAN-free EGN@SAP bricks. 相似文献
