This paper presents a non-linear finite element model (FEM) used to predict the behaviour of slender concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) columns with elliptical hollow sections subjected to axial compression. The accuracy of the FEM was validated by comparing the numerical prediction against experimental observation of eighteen elliptical CFST columns which carefully chosen to represent typical sectional sizes and member slenderness. The adaptability to apply the current design rules provided in Eurocode 4 for circular and rectangular CFST columns to elliptical CFST columns were discussed. A parametric study is carried out with various section sizes, lengths and concrete strength in order to cover a wider range of member cross-sections and slenderness which is currently used in practices to examine the important structural behaviour and design parameters, such as column imperfection, non-dimension slenderness and buckling reduction factor, etc. It is concluded that the design rules given in Eurocode 4 for circular and rectangular CFST columns may be adopted to calculate the axial buckling load of elliptical CFST columns although using the imperfection of length/300 specified in the Eurocode 4 might be over-conservative for elliptical CFST columns with lower non-dimensional slenderness. 相似文献

针对抗震结构研究了能够综合考虑结构弹塑性位移耦合作用的滞回耗能谱(简称"VH谱")。通过自编的Matlab程序,进行了大量的单自由度体系非线性时程分析,计算得到了一系列VH谱曲线,并拟合回归了4类场地的VH谱公式及其相关系数。VH谱综合考虑了结构最大弹塑性位移和结构累积滞回耗能的耦合作用,更加合理地反映结构在罕遇地震作用下的弹塑性行为,研究成果可供抗震结构基于能量性能设计或评估使用。 相似文献

Molecular modeling was carried out using DFT to identify the suitable displacing agent for carrying out Gd isotope separation using displacement chromatography. EDTA was identified as the best eluting agent among EDTA, malic acid and citric acid. Displacement chromatography of Gd adsorption band in cation exchange resin was performed to observe the isotope effects in the Gd ion exchange processes involving complex forming reagent – EDTA. The heavier isotope of 160Gd was found to be enriched at the front boundary of Gd adsorption band, while the lighter isotopes of 155Gd and 157Gd were enriched at the rear boundary. 相似文献

Cerebellar ataxias (CA) comprise a heterogeneous group of neurodegenerative diseases characterized by a lack of motor coordination. They are caused by disturbances in the cerebellum and its associated circuitries, so the major therapeutic goal is to correct cerebellar dysfunction. Neurotrophic factors enhance the survival and differentiation of selected types of neurons. Liver growth factor (LGF) is a hepatic mitogen that shows biological activity in neuroregenerative therapies. We investigate the potential therapeutic activity of LGF in the 3-acetylpiridine (3-AP) rat model of CA. This model of CA consists in the lesion of the inferior olive-induced by 3-AP (40 mg/kg). Ataxic rats were treated with 5 µg/rat LGF or vehicle during 3 weeks, analyzing: (a) motor coordination by using the rota-rod test; and (b) the immunohistochemical and biochemical evolution of several parameters related with the olivo-cerebellar function. Motor coordination improved in 3-AP-lesioned rats that received LGF treatment. LGF up-regulated NeuN and Bcl-2 protein levels in the brainstem, and increased calbindin expression and the number of neurons receiving calbindin-positive projections in the cerebellum. LGF also reduced extracellular glutamate and GABA concentrations and microglia activation in the cerebellum. In view of these results, we propose LGF as a potential therapeutic agent in cerebellar ataxias. 相似文献

The current investigation pursues the confirmation of the applicability of the limit load solutions in determination of the η factors necessary for fracture toughness testing protocols. The procedure begins with the correct calculation of limit load values in welded single edge notch tension (SE(T)) fracture specimens containing centreline cracks. Hence, the η factor is inferred through the principle of potential energy. Additionally, such results are compared with those obtained from finite element analyses, including strain hardening effects available in the literature. SE(T) specimens subject to pin‐loading display that the η factors are insensitive to the configurational effects and hardening properties. On the other hand, in clamped SE(T) specimens, such effects become meaningful, making its usage in fracture toughness experiments questionable. This work provides an alternative methodology to compute fully plastic proportionality coefficients (η) based on limit load solutions for heterogeneous cracked SE(T) specimens. These analyses also consider the limitations and potentialities of such an approach in experimental measurements of ductile crack growth. 相似文献

In present work, the oils were treated by saponification procedure to release fatty acids from triglycerides to obtain free fatty acids (FFA) enriched oils and glycerol. Phase equilibria data for systems FFA enriched rapeseed oil–CO2, FFA enriched corn germ oil–CO2 and FFA enriched borage oil–CO2 were determined at temperatures 35, 45, 65 and 85 °C, and in pressure range from 100 to 550 Bar. Experiments using FFA enriched oils were performed using high-pressure variable–volume view cell, where phase inversions were also observed at temperatures 35 and 45 °C. Samples from liquid and vapor phases were analyzed by gas chromatography for the content of free fatty acids, and based on obtained data; the distribution coefficients and the separation factors between FFA and glycerol were calculated. 相似文献
