In this paper, we propose a discriminative multi-task objects tracking method with active feature selection and drift correction. The developed method formulates object tracking in a particle filter framework as multi-Task discriminative tracking. As opposed to generative methods that handle particles separately, the proposed method learns the representation of all the particles jointly and the corresponding coefficients are similar. The tracking algorithm starts from the active feature selection scheme, which adaptively chooses suitable number of discriminative features from the tracked target and background in the dynamic environment. Based on the selected feature space, the discriminative dictionary is constructed and updated dynamically. Only a few of them are used to represent all the particles at each frame. In other words, all the particles share the same dictionary templates and their representations are obtained jointly by discriminative multi-task learning. The particle that has the highest similarity with the dictionary templates is selected as the next tracked target state. This jointly sparsity and discriminative learning can exploit the relationship between particles and improve tracking performance. To alleviate the visual drift problem encountered in object tracking, a two-stage particle filtering algorithm is proposed to complete drift correction and exploit both the ground truth information of the first frame and observations obtained online from the current frame. Experimental evaluations on challenging sequences demonstrate the effectiveness, accuracy and robustness of the proposed tracker in comparison with state-of-the-art algorithms. 相似文献

In this article, we consider a receding horizon control of discrete-time state-dependent jump linear systems, a particular kind of stochastic switching systems, subject to possibly unbounded random disturbances and probabilistic state constraints. Due to the nature of the dynamical system and the constraints, we consider a one-step receding horizon. Using inverse cumulative distribution function, we convert the probabilistic state constraints to deterministic constraints, and obtain a tractable deterministic receding horizon control problem. We consider the receding horizon control law to have a linear state-feedback and an admissible offset term. We ensure mean square boundedness of the state variable via solving linear matrix inequalities off-line, and solve the receding horizon control problem on-line with control offset terms. In the presence of rate constraints in actuator, design of cascade controller based on the primary controller conditional integration can result into closed-loop system oscillations. Stability analysis, performed by the describing function technique and confirmed by simulation, demonstrates that the solution based on the Anti-Reset Windup Cascade Control System (ARW CCS) structure is successful. Design and tuning of the ARW CCS secondary controller is a standard ARW single-input single-output problem. In the present paper tuning is proposed for the ARW CCS primary controller. For the serial process modeling simple rules are derived and confirmed by experimental results, obtained on a drum type boiler of a 210 MWe lignite coal fired unit. General design of the ARW CCS is based on the parallel process modeling and optimization of the primary controller. Optimization is performed in the frequency domain, under constraints on the maximum sensitivity, multiplicative uncertainty bound and sensitivity to measurement noise. This paper investigates some limitations of the nonblocking property when used for supervisor synthesis in discrete event systems. It is shown that there are cases where synthesis with the nonblocking property gives undesired results. To address such cases, the paper introduces progressive events as a means to specify more precisely how a synthesised supervisor should complete its tasks. The nonblocking property is modified to take progressive events into account, and appropriate methods for verification and synthesis are proposed. Experiments show that progressive events can be used in the analysis of industrial-scale systems, and can expose issues that remain undetected by standard nonblocking verification. 相似文献

Complex software systems are often modeled using data flow diagrams, in which nodes are connected to each other through dedicated connection points called ports. The influence a layout algorithm has on the placement of ports is determined by port constraints defined on the corresponding node.In this paper we present approaches for integrating port constraints into the layer-based approach to graph drawing pioneered by Sugiyama et al. We show how our layout algorithm, called KLay Layered, progresses from relaxed to more restricted port constraint levels as it executes, and how established algorithms for crossing minimization and edge routing can be extended to support port constraints. Compared to the previous layout algorithms supporting ports, our algorithm produces fewer edge crossings and bends and yields pleasing results.We also explain and evaluate how layout algorithms can be kept simple by using the concept of intermediate processors to structure them in a modular way. A case study integrating our layout algorithm into UC Berkeley's Ptolemy tool illustrates how KLay Layered can be integrated into Java-based applications. 相似文献
