长周期光纤光栅是近几年出现的新型光纤器件,表现为前向传播的纤芯导模与同向传播的各阶次包层模在特定波长时的模式耦合,因此它在温度、应变、折射率传感方面比普通的光纤光栅有更大的优越性.运用耦合模理论,首先讨论了长周期光纤光栅的谐振波长,并模拟了其透射谱.其次在理论上详细分析了长周期光纤光栅对环境折射率的敏感特性,讨论了环境折射率敏感度因子与包层模次数的关系,并比较了不同环境折射率下的灵敏度.最后模拟了在环境折射率小于光栅包层折射率的情况下,谐振波长随环境折射率变化的规律. 相似文献

Nanocomposites are a new class of polymeric materials which include organic or inorganic nano‐phase materials. These nanocomposite films can show interesting properties which have many applications for wavelength conversion and energy saving. In this paper, we present polyolefin based nanocomposite films prepared using wavelength‐converting red ‘phosphors’ such as Y2O3: Eu3+ and LiAl5O8:Fe3+ and blue ‘phosphor’ CaMgSi2O6: Eu2+. The durability of the polymer chain is unaffected by incorporation of inorganic nanoparticles as there is no direct interaction between them. The addition of surfactant in the nanocomposite film helps to improve the dispersion ability of the nanoparticles and increase the flexibility of the polymer film. Wavelength‐converting ‘nanophosphors’ incorporated in a polymer matrix help to increase the tensile strength of the film. The films show excellent wavelength conversion ability of UV light into the visible and near IR range. These nanocomposite films have great application in energy saving devices. Two fluorene and triphenyl pyridine‐based linear and dendronized copolymers, P1 and P2 , were synthesized and fully characterized by 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, and matrix assistant laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectra, respectively. The absorption, photoluminescence (PL) behavior, and energy band gaps of P1 and P2 relative to those of polyfluorene end‐capped with benzene ( P0 ) were examined through UV–vis, photoluminescent spectra, and cyclic voltammetry. The UV–vis absorption and PL emission behavior of P0 and P1 were hardly affected by molecular architecture, while those of P2 were strongly correlated with the dendronized molecular frameworks. Cyclic voltammetry studies indicated the lower highest occupied molecular orbital energy level and wider band gap of P2 thin solid film relative to those of P0 and P1 . The new polymers were thermally stable up to 410°C. The better luminance and external quantum efficiencies of P1 relative to those of P0 in polymer light‐emitting diode (PLED) applications are due to improved electron injection, charge trapping and recombination at the pyridine sites. Through the experiments, it is found that the triphenyl pyridyl segments and excimers‐formation make pronounced contribution to long wavelength emission in P1 ‐based blue light‐emitting materials, and the analogous materials containing 2,4,6‐triphenyl pyridyl unit of P1 constitute highly attractive materials for white PLED applications. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A dual-wavelength erbium-doped ring fiber laser is proposed and experimentally demonstrated though a detailed theoretical analysis and experimental verification. The proposed dual-wavelength erbium-doped fiber (EDF) laser, which is based on a ring fiber laser structure, is fabricated using two fiber Bragg gratings. By adjusting the gains and losses of the fiber laser structure, the laser can be switched between single- and double-wavelength modes. A saturable absorber (SA) is used to improve the output laser stability, which is further enhanced by splicing a thin core passive fiber (TCPF) into the laser cavity to produce a Mach–Zehnder filter effect. Optimizing the lengths of the SA and TCPF results in the adoption of a 1-m EDF and a 4-m passive fiber. On the basis of these enhancements and optimizations, a fiber laser with stable output is constructed that incurs single- or dual-wavelength laser shifts of less than 3 pm at room temperature over a period of 250 s. 相似文献

We investigate simultaneous state-insensitive trapping of a mixture of two different atomic species, Caesium and Rubidium. The magic wavelengths of the Caesium and Rubidium atoms are different, 935.6 and 789.9 nm respectively, thus single-frequency simultaneous state-insensitive trapping is not possible. We thus identify bichromatic trapping as a viable approach to tune the two magic wavelengths to a common value. Correspondingly, we present several common magic wavelength combinations appropriate for simultaneous state-insensitive trapping of the two atomic species. 相似文献

选择光谱特征波长进行建模可以减少冗余波长的干扰,提高模型的预测精度。采用小波阈值消噪法对采集的104个土壤样本光谱数据进行了预处理,并通过间隔偏最小二乘法、无信息变量消除、连续投影算法和群智能算法等9种方法筛选了建模波长。结果表明,小波阈值消噪法能有效降低光谱中的噪声。利用波长选择方法筛选建模波长不仅能减少建模变量的个数,而且还能提高模型的预测精度,特别是离散粒子群优化算法利用26个波长进行建模,预测决定系数达到了0.81,预测的相对标准误差为2.31。实验结果证明,通过对光谱波长进行选择不但可以降低模型的复杂度,还能有效预测土壤有机质达的含量。 相似文献

为探索相似模拟实验新的检测方法,研究了光纤光栅传感技术在相似模拟实验中的应用.采用在模型中埋设光纤光栅传感器的方法,检测采动过程中上覆岩层的应力变化.实验选用1.2m×0.12m平面应力模型,光纤光栅传感器选用无封装裸露光栅,分布有五个光栅点.为作对比分析,两光栅附近埋设压力传感器.结果可知,岩层应力变化可使光栅发生波长漂移,其变化趋势与压力传感器测试结果相一致,可以反映应力的变化规律.光纤光栅传感技术可以被应用于相似模拟实验中的应力检测,这对于提高相似模拟实验的检测手段具有重要的意义. 相似文献
