A novel optical burst switching scheme—logical cascaded private subnet with start wavelength assignment policy

Many recent studies have convincingly demonstrated that network traffic exhibits a noticeable self-similar nature, which has a considerable impact on network performance, and most studies of optical burst switching (OBS) networks are under a fundamental assumption that full wavelength conversion is available throughout the network. In practice, however, economic and technical considerations are likely to dictate a more limited and sparse deployment of wavelength converters in the optical network. Therefore, we present a novel scheme for OBS networks, called logical cascaded private subnet (LCPN) with start wavelength assignment policy. We define the concept of canoe relative to cluster in self-similar traffic, and introduce a new device named payload segregator at the edge node as a gateway to the core node in OBS Networks. According to the changes in the edge node framework, we put forward the concept of cluster private subnet and canoe private subnet in the core node correspondingly. A new start wavelength assignment policy is proposed for the absence of (full) wavelength conversion capabilities in the core node of OBS Networks. The performance study indicates that, our new scheme is robust under self-similar traffic and wavelength continuity constraint.

Dynamique motivationnelle de l'epuisement et du bien-etre chez des enseignants africains.

This study examines the links between antecedents and consequences of Gabonese teachers' (N= 152) work motivation. The theoretical underpinnings are based on the Motivational Model of Job Burnout (MMJB) which is grounded in Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and states that the more supervisors satisfy an employee's need for self-determination, competence, and relatedness, the more self-determined is the latter's work motivation. The level of self-determined motivation has an impact on job satisfaction, which in turn determines life satisfaction. Higher levels of self-determined motivation also buffer emotional exhaustion and psychological distress. The model was confirmed via structural equation modeling and provides support for the validity and generalizability of the MMJB and SDT. 世界石油钻井技术不断向信息化、智能化方向发展,为适应钻井技术的发展,构建了数字化钻井施工模式框架。从井场信息采集设施、井场网络环境、井场信息采集处理软件、井场工程监测软件等方面阐述了数字化钻井队的构建方法,从钻井数据库设计、数据流向及数据加载、数据发布等方面阐述了钻井数据中心的构成,从钻井设计系统、钻井远程监测系统、井眼轨迹控制系统以及专家系统等方面描述了钻井辅助决策平台主要功能。除了理论研究之外,还简要介绍了研究成果在现场的应用情况。这些研究成果是国内"数字油田"建设的基础,必将促进钻井行业的信息技术发展。     

Wear resistance of plasma coatings for a constant work of friction

We analyze the wear resistance of plasma coatings for a constant work of friction. The dependences of the wear resistance of the coatings are obtained for a broad range of loading conditions. It is shown that the minimum sensitivity to loading conditions is exhibited by the molybdenum coatings. It is also established that the wear resistance of the coatings decreases as the amplitude of displacements increases and the cyclic frequency of the tests decreases due to the intensification of fatigue processes on the surfaces. 一种建立分区变分原理的新方法

提出了一种建立弹性理论分区变分原理的新方法。放松了分区交界面上位移、应力连续的条件，证明了弹性理论分区求解体系的微分形式与积分形式的等价关系。本文以微分形式为前提，利用这种等价关系,在统一的构架下,导出了分区广义虚功方程和弹性理论分区变分原理。变分原理是积分形式的一种表现形式。讨论了积分形式的物理含义，提出了广义虚函数的概念。广义虚函数具有任意性、虚拟性。
