This paper presents a novel data hiding scheme for VQ compression images. This scheme first uses SMVQ prediction to classify encoding blocks into different types, then uses different codebooks and encoding strategies to perform encoding and data hiding simultaneously. In using SMVQ prediction, no extra data is required to identify the combination of encoding strategies and codebook, which helps improve compression performance. Furthermore, the proposed scheme adaptively combines VQ and SMVQ encoding characteristics to provide higher image quality of stego-images while size of the hidden payload remains the same. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme indeed outperforms other previously proposed schemes in image quality of the stego-images and compression performance. 相似文献

This study exploits the characteristics of image blocks to develop an adaptive data hiding scheme that is based on SMVQ prediction. Since human beings’ eyes are highly sensitive to smooth images, changes in smooth cause great distortion and attract the attention of interceptors. Hence, this study proposes a data embedding scheme for embedding secret data into edge blocks and non-sufficiently smooth blocks. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme improves the quality of the stego-image and the embedding capacity. 相似文献

AbstractData hiding technique can hide a certain amount of secret data into digital content such as image, document, audio or video. Reversible compressed image data hiding can loosely restore the cover image after extracting the secret data from the stego-image. In this paper, we present an efficient reversible image data hiding scheme based on side match vector quantisation. Mapping concept is useful for this scheme because it converts the ternary into binary. The proposed scheme significantly increases the payload size of a block, and the quality analysis of the proposed scheme showed that it contains a better peak signal to noise than other schemes. 相似文献

Reversible data hiding is a method that not only embeds secret data but also reconstructs the original cover image without distortion after the confidential data are extracted. In this paper, we propose novel reversible data hiding scheme that can embed high capacity of secret bits and recover image after data extraction. Our proposed scheme depends on the locally adaptive coding scheme (LAC) as Chang&Nguyen’s scheme and SMVQ scheme. Experimental results show that the compression rate of our proposed scheme is 0.33 bpp on average. To embed secret bits we propose the normal-hiding scheme and the over-hiding scheme which have an average embedding rate of 2.01 bpi and 3.01 bpi, more than that of Chang&Nguyen’s scheme (1.36 bpi). The normal-hiding scheme and the over-hiding scheme also has high embedding efficiency of 0.28 and 0.36 on average, which are better than that of Chang&Kieu’s scheme (0.12), Chang&Nguyen’s scheme (0.18) and Chang&Nguyen’s scheme (0.16). 相似文献

It was shown by the Bekunov method for evaluating chemical ripening restrainers, that adenine and DNA are restrainers whereas nucleotides are not. The addition of DNA-se which, as is known, hydrolyses DNA to oligonucleotides, does not modify the photographic results obtained with DNA alone. On the other hand S'S'-adeninyl-adenosine, in contrast with what was expected, has no restraining properties. A tentative explanation is given. 相似文献
