浸没式膜生物反应器技术用于废水的现场深度处理及回用

人们愈加认识到废水随意排放的后果和对新鲜水短缺应负的责任。因此，将废水处理到可回用的水质已成为水处理的最关键问题之一。虽然在许多地区浸没式膜生物反应器（IMBR）技术在废水深度处理使之达到回用标准中的应用仍属于一种较新的方法，然而在整个北美和欧洲却广泛应用了十多年。     

The Role of Metastable Atoms in a Homogeneous Atmospheric Pressure Barrier Discharge in Helium

A one-dimensional fluid model for homogeneous atmospheric pressure barrier discharges in helium is presented by considering elementary processes of excitation and ionization including a metastable atom effect. Using this model we investigate the behaviours of the helium metastable atoms in discharges as well as their influence on the discharge characteristics. It is shown that the metastable atoms with a relatively high concentration during the discharge are mainly produced in the active phase of the discharge and dissolved in the off phase. It is also found that the metastable atom collisions can not only provide seed electrons for discharges but also influence the concentration of ions. A reduction of matestable atom density results in a drop in the charged particle densities and causes a qualitative change in the discharge patterns.     

A Ray-Tracing Analysis of ICRH in Tokamaks

Power deposition profiles generated by Ion Cyclotron Resonance Heating （ICRH） in non-circular tokamaks are studied using a ray-tracing technique. The simulation results for the Experimental Advanced Superconductor Tokamak （EAST） D-shaped plasma are presented. It is indicated that the spatial distributions of plasma parameters （plasma density, species temperature, minority ion concentration, etc.） have an significant influence on the power deposition profiles. The findings may be highly useful to the planned plasma heating and experiments in EAST.     

哈佛大学研制出等离子体振子激光天线

哈佛大学研究人员展示了一种新型光学器件——等离子体振子激光天线，这种金属材料纳米结构的光学天线（plasmonic laser entenna），集成在一台商业半导体激光器的端面上。这种天线有些类似于传统无线通信（Wi—Fi）天线，不过在尺寸上更小，只有几百纳米，工作波长位于可见光和红外区域。研究人员Crozier表示，这种光学天线能将激光束收集起来，会聚成一个几十纳米的强光点。     

Plasma Discharge Initiation of Explosives in Rock Blasting Application： A Case Study

A plasma discharge initiation system for the explosive volumetric combustion charge was designed, investigated and developed for practical application. Laboratory scale experiments were carried out before conducting the large scale field tests. The resultant explosions gave rise to less noise, insignificant seismic vibrations and good specific explosive consumption for rock blasting. Importantly, the technique was found to be safe and environmentally friendly.     

Synthesis of Carbon Nanotubes by MWPCVD at Low Temperature

Growth of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) at low temperature is very important to the applications of nanotubes.In this paper,under the catalytic effect of cobalt nanoparticles supported by SiO2,CNTs were synthesized by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition(MWPCVD) below 500℃.It demonstrates that MWPCVD can be a very efficient process for the synthesis of CNTs at low temperature.     

经等离子体处理的云母粉在聚烯烃中的分散性EI

用图象分析仪测定聚烯烃中云母聚集体数均粒径的结果表明,乙烯等离子体处理云母提高其在聚烯烃中的分散性;强化处理条件有利于云母在LDPE中分散,而对HDPE则不然;云母在PS中的分散性优于在HDPE和LDPE中。     

用螺旋场抑制多种模式的撕裂模

对共振螺旋场(RHF)抑制撕裂模进行了分析和数值计算。考虑了撕裂模之间的非线性相互作用。分析指出:不同模式的耦合可能使某些模式失稳,也可能使某些模式增稳。这与一定的条件有关。因为模式之间有相互作用,τ=2的RHF可以稳定所有的模式,在多种模式存在的情况下,τ=3的RHF是无效的,仅在单模近似下它能抑制m=3的模式。
