Estimating parameters of the synchronous twofold-stochastic flow of events

Consideration was given to estimation of the parameters of the synchronous twofold-stochastic flow of events which makes up a mathematical model of the information flow of demands circulating in the queuing systems and networks. Two variants were studied. For the first variant, the problem of optimal estimation of the parameters of a synchronous flow of events with a finite arbitrary number of states was solved. The second variant differs in that the event flow operates in the environment where part of events is lost during the so-called dead time. Consideration was given to a synchronous flow with two states. The problem of estimating the length of the dead time in the conditions of continued dead time was solved. The results of numerical estimation based on the simulation model of the synchronous flow were presented for both variants.     

Output control algorithm with the compensation of biased harmonic disturbances

The paper develops the methods of harmonic disturbance compensation using the measurements of plant output variable. An approach for biased harmonic disturbance compensation is proposed. This approach is superior to known ones in some characteristics.     

Invariance properties of RAMS and linear time

An operation on integers isLTTC if it is computable in linear time on a Turing machine (using the dyadic or binary representation of integers). AnLTTC-RAM (respectivelyI-RAM) is a RAM which only uses LTTC operations (respectively operations in the setI).The address-free time complexity measure of a RAM evaluates execution times using the logarithmic cost criterion but assumes that addressing operations are performed for free.

An inexact hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm for solving generalized mixed variational inequalities

In this paper, we investigate an inexact hybrid projection-proximal method for solving a class of generalized mixed variational inequalities in Hilbert spaces. We construct a general inexact hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm, in which an inexact relaxed proximal point step is followed by a suitable orthogonal projection onto a hyperplane. Under some suitable conditions concerned with the pseudomonotone set-valued mapping T, the nonsmooth convex function f and the step size λ_k, we prove the convergence of the inexact hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm for solving generalized mixed variational inequalities in Hilbert spaces.     

Compensation of unknown sinusoidal disturbances in linear plants of arbitrary relative degree

A new algorithm is proposed for compensating parametrically uncertain harmonic disturbances. In contrast to the known results, the compensation is carried out in the situation where only the output variable and the control signal are measured, and the relative degree of the plant is arbitrary.     

Optimality conditions of sliding modes and the maximum principle for control problems with the scalar argument

Various types of optimality criteria and conditions, which define the set of admissible solution, are brought to the canonical form. For the problem set in this form, the optimality conditions of sliding modes are stated. It is shown that the optimality conditions emerge from these conditions in the form of the maximum principle for problems with a scalar argument and an arbitrary combination of the optimality criterion and constraints.     

Problem of reconstructing input signals under communication constraints

For a linear controllable system, the problem of reconstruction of all input signals, which are compatible with the measured signal, is considered. It is assumed that information can be transmitted in a processing center only via digital communication channel at discrete time instants, and the word length is limited. In this connection, there are encoding and decoding devices in the communication channel. For simplicity, the communication channel is assumed to be noiseless and delay-free. Defining relationships are obtained for the set of compatible input signals, as well as relationships between reconstruction precision, length of transmitted word and transmission frequency.     

A tracking problem for mechanical systems with delay in control

A problem of tracking for mechanical systems described by nonstationary nonlinear equations is studied at relay control with delay is studied. An approach that makes it possible to solve problems of tracking for mechanical systems whose parameters may continuously vary with time is developed. This approach is based on the transformation of the system and construction of a Lyapunov vector-function with components of the form of vector norm.
