Deformation and failure study of surrounding rocks of dynamic pressure roadways in deep mines

In order to understand the change rules of stress-displacement in surrounding rocks of dynamic pressure roadways in deep mines and to obtain a theoretical basis for analyses of roadway stability and designs of support,we established a coupling equation of adjacent rock strength,mining stress and supporting resistance on the basis of an elastic-plastic theory of mechanics.We obtained an analytical solution for stress and displacement distribution of elastic and plastic regions in surrounding rock of dynamic pressure roadway..Based on this theory,we have analyzed the changes in stress-displacement in elastic and plastic regions of surrounding rocks of dynamic pressure roadways in the Haizi Coal Mine.The results show that:1) radial and tangential stress change violently within the first 4 m from the inner surface of a roadway after excavation;radial stress increases while tangential stress decreases within a range of about 6 m from the inner surface of the roadway as a function of q3;2) radial and tangential stress increase with an increase in the mining pressure coefficient k;the increase in the rate of tangential stress is greater than that of radial stress;3) the radial displacement of the inner surface of roadways decreases with an increase in q3,provided that k remains unchanged.

With the models of stress corrosion and pressure solution, by Yasuhara et al., two computation conditions were designed for a hypothetical nuclear waste repository in an unsaturated dual-porosity rock mass: (i) the fracture apertures are changed with the stress corrosion and pressure solution (the porosity of rock matrix is also a function of stress); (ii) the fracture apertures and the porosity of rock matrix are constants. Calculation of single adsorption isotherms from gravimetrically measured binary gas mixture adsorption isotherms on activated carbon at high pressures

A method is developed for the calculation of single-component adsorption isotherms from gravimetrically measured binary gas mixture adsorption isotherms at high pressures, at two temperatures and for different mole fractions of the gas phase. The adsorption of nitrogen/methane on active carbon Norit R1 is taken as an experimental example.     

Impedance spectroscopy study of hardened Portland cement paste

In this paper, the differential impedance analysis (DIA) has been applied to the study of the dielectric properties of hardened Portland cement paste. Two time constants are found in the impedance spectra obtained in the frequency region form 100 kHz to 15 MHz. One time constant has been attributed to the solid matrix and the other one to the liquid phase filling the pores. The effect of the cement paste-electrodes interface has been quantified using two different experimental set-ups. Measurements using direct contact between electrodes and cement paste have been compared with measurements using an air gap technique in which the specimen “floats” between the electrodes. The two referred time constants have been found in both types of measurements. The influence of drying on the dielectric parameters is also studied.     

Differentially private data fusion and deep learning Framework for Cyber–Physical–Social Systems: State-of-the-art and perspectives

The modern technological advancement influences the growth of the cyber–physical system and cyber–social system to a more advanced computing system cyber–physical–social system (CPSS). Therefore, CPSS leads the data science revolution by promoting tri-space information resource from a single space. The establishment of CPSSs increases the related privacy concerns. To provide privacy on CPSSs data, various privacy-preserving schemes have been introduced in the recent past. However, technological advancement in CPSSs requires the modifications of previous techniques to suit its dynamics. Meanwhile, differential privacy has emerged as an effective method to safeguard CPSSs data privacy. To completely comprehend the state-of-the-art developments and learn the field’s research directions, this article provides a comprehensive review of differentially private data fusion and deep learning in CPSSs. Additionally, we present a novel differentially private data fusion and deep learning Framework for Cyber–Physical–Social Systems , and various future research directions for CPSSs.     

Probabilistic and interval reliability design of the composite pressure vessel

Considering the randomness or interval character of physical parameters and applied loads of composite pressure vessels (COPV), the COPV reliability-analyzing model is built. And then the computational expressions for the mean value, standard deviation and deviation of fiber stress are deduced by the random factor method. The probabilistic and interval reliability designs on COPV are implemented by utilizing the probabilistic method and interval method combined with the improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, respectively. The influence of fluctuation of structure uncertain parameters on COPV design thickness is inspected. Finally, examples are given to demonstrate that both probabilistic and interval reliability methods can satisfy the safety requirement and both are of higher rationality than the traditional safety factor method. And probabilistic method has a lower relative error but a higher computational complexity contrasted with the interval method.
