广州国际会议展览中心模型结构抗震研究

本文用SAP2000结构分析程序对广州国际会议展览中心1／30模型进行了三维时程分析，并将分析结果与模型振动台试验结果进行了对比。

Numerical and experimental investigation on temperature distribution of the discontinuous welding

The main objective of this study is to generate new understanding and improve computer methods for calculating the thermal cycles and temperature distribution of 5A06 aluminum alloy structure during discontinuous welding. Predicting the thermal cycle also provides an estimate of the weld penetration and weld width. The submodeling technique was used to save computing time and improve calculation accuracy. The arc heat input was applied in the weld zone using different forms of surface, volumetric and combined heat flux distribution functions. In order to validate the thermal simulation model, temperature distribution at the weld backside was precisely measured by infrared thermography during the welding process. The simulation results showed that the model is quite sensitive to the energy distribution during the welding process, the effects of the pre-heating and re-heating are significant. The present simulation model can be used as a proper tool to investigate the effect of different metal inertia gas (MIG) process parameters.

国家会议中心采用舣向正交H型钢桁架结构.H型钢桁架具有跨度大、截面高度高、板较厚、连接节点形式复杂等特点.针对工程施工难点,介绍大跨度H型钢桁架的工厂制作技术、预拼装、预起拱原则、施工工艺流程以及桁架制作中的焊接质量管理.并对复杂节点组装顺序、焊接顺序、精度控制技术和桁架起拱进行了研究.工程实践证明,工程质量符合国家规范要求,保证了施工安全性.     

Building Humane Communities Respectful of Children: The Significance of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The greatest promise of international human rights law is in stimulating thoughtful self-examination by those who strive to do what is right. Perhaps more than any other instrument, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC; 1989) offers the opportunity to use a global moral consensus to transform life at the neighborhood level in order to promote "the full and harmonious development of...[the child's] personality" (CRC, 1989, preamble). The relevance of international water law to later-developing upstream states

The relevance of the main instruments of international water law to the hydraulic development projects of later-developing upstream states is explored, for a non-legal audience. Relevance is gauged by querying common misperceptions, checking the compatibility of the instruments, and considering their effect along the Nile, Jordan and Tigris Rivers and associated aquifers. Specific principles of international water law are found to support upstream development in theory, though its relevance is threatened by incompatibility of clauses between the instruments, the erosion of norm-building processes, and a shift away from the idea that territorial sovereignty over a fluid resource should be limited.
