Partial Partitions,Partial Connections and Connective Segmentation   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
In connective segmentation (Serra in J. Math. Imaging Vis. 24(1):83–130, [2006]), each image determines subsets of the space on which it is “homogeneous”, in such a way that this family of subsets always constitutes a connection (connectivity class); then the segmentation of the image is the partition of space into its connected components according to that connection. Several concrete examples of connective segmentations or of connections on sets, indicate that the space covering requirement of the partition should be relaxed. Furthermore, morphological operations on partitions require the consideration of wider framework. We study thus partial partitions (families of mutually disjoint non-void subsets of the space) and partial connections (where connected components of a set are mutually disjoint but do not necessarily cover the set). We describe some methods for generating partial connections. We investigate the links between the two lattices of partial connections and of partial partitions. We generalize Serra’s characterization of connective segmentation and discuss its relevance. Finally we give some ideas on how the theory of partial connections could lead to improved segmentation algorithms.

Mathematical morphology was originally conceived as a set theoretic approach for the processing of binary images. Extensions of classical binary morphology to gray-scale morphology include approaches based on fuzzy set theory. This paper discusses and compares several well-known and new approaches towards gray-scale and fuzzy mathematical morphology. We show in particular that a certain approach to fuzzy mathematical morphology ultimately depends on the choice of a fuzzy inclusion measure and on a notion of duality. This fact gives rise to a clearly defined scheme for classifying fuzzy mathematical morphologies. The umbra and the level set approach, an extension of the threshold approach to gray-scale mathematical morphology, can also be embedded in this scheme since they can be identified with certain fuzzy approaches.

In the present experimental study, abrasive water jet (AWJ) cutting tests were conducted on D2 steel by different jet impingement angles and abrasive mesh sizes. The experimental data was statistically analyzed using the simos–grey relational method and ANOVA test. In addition, the outcome of influencing cutting parameters, namely jet pressure, jet impingement angle, and abrasive mesh size on the different response parameters, namely, the jet penetration, material removal rate, taper ratio, roughness, and topography, were studied. Micro-hardness test and surface morphology analysis were employed to examine the D2 cut surfaces at different AWJ cutting conditions. The chemical element study was performed to determine the abrasive particle contamination in the AWJ kerf wall cut surfaces. The ANOVA test result indicated the jet pressure and jet impingement angle as the influencing process parameters affecting the various performance characteristics of AWJ cutting. The overall AWJ cutting performance of the D2 steel has been improved through proper identification of the optimal process parameter settings, namely jet pressure 225?MPa, abrasive mesh size #100, and jet impingement angle 70° by the simos–grey relational analysis.  相似文献

Machining of 17-4 Precipitation Hardenable Stainless Steel (PH SS) is one of the difficult tasks because of its high cutting temperatures. Conventional cutting fluids are used to overcome the high cutting temperatures, but these are not acceptable from the health and environmental sustainable points of view. Cryogenic cooling is one of the potential techniques to overcome such problems. In the current work, comparison is made of cryogenic turning results, such as tool flank wear, cutting forces (feed force, main cutting force), cutting temperature, chip morphology and surface integrity characteristics with wet machining during machining of heat-treated 17-4 PH SS. The result showed that in cryogenic machining, a maximum of 53%, 78%, 35% and 16% reductions was observed in tool flank wear, cutting temperature, surface roughness and cutting force, respectively, when compared with wet machining. It was also evident from the experimental results that cryogenic machining significantly improved the machining performance and product quality even at high feed rates.  相似文献

H+ ions with various fluences are implanted into x and z-cut KTP crystals to achieve KTP film. Post-implantation annealing under different temperature is imposed on the samples to induce layer splitting and surface morphology modification. Layer exfoliation is observed in freestanding z-cut samples. Layer splitting is obtained using bonding method in x-cut sample implanted with 117 keV H+ ions at ion fluence of 6 × 1016 ions/cm2. Optical microscopy, scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscopy are used to observe splitting phenomenon. Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy/channeling method is employed to measure lattice damage and to investigate the relationship between implantation-induced defects and layer splitting.  相似文献

对聚丁烯-1的环己烷溶液进行高压静电纺丝制备出聚丁烯微纳米纤维,通过光学显微镜、扫描电镜、傅里叶变换红外光谱和X射线衍射等表征手段,考察了纺丝液浓度、纺丝电压、推进速率对纤维形貌的影响,并对纺丝过程及室温陈放的聚丁烯纤维的晶型转变进行了研究。结果表明,随着纺丝液浓度和推进速率的增大,可以得到尺寸均匀的纤维,直径也随之变大;纺丝电压增大,纤维直径减小,但纤维直径分布均匀性变差。初生聚丁烯-1纺丝纤维膜的晶型为I型和II型,随着溶剂的挥发和时间延长,晶型II逐渐转变为晶型I,溶液涂覆膜初生晶型为晶型III和晶型I'。  相似文献

研究了室温下针刺C/SiC复合材料的拉-压疲劳特性,并与其拉-拉疲劳特性进行了对比。结果表明:针刺C/SiC复合材料的拉-压疲劳强度略低于拉-拉疲劳强度;两种循环载荷下都存在迟滞现象,随着循环数的增大迟滞环不断右移,且偏斜程度和包围面积不断增大。采用扫描电子显微镜对失效试件的断口形貌和微观结构的观察表明:除了垂直于加载方向的基体开裂以及界面脱粘,拉-压循环加载下的细观失效机制还包括平行于加载方向的基体开裂以及层间的开裂。这些平行于加载方向的损伤使得纤维受力状态恶化,最终削弱了针刺C/SiC复合材料拉-压疲劳强度。  相似文献

为量化表征SBS改性沥青网络化程度,确定控制其高温性能的形态学参数,采用荧光形态学方法、多重应力蠕变回复试验、频率扫描试验分别对5种掺量、6个剪切时间的线型SBS改性沥青在64℃下的荧光数字图像、不可恢复蠕变柔量、频率敏感性进行了定量分析。结果表明:通过增大改性剂掺量、延长剪切时间,SBS改性沥青高温流变性能得到改善。SBS掺量低于5%时,仅靠延长剪切时间无法形成网络结构;相同剪切时间下,增大SBS掺量即可形成网络结构。本文选取图像连通域和面积比率共同描述SBS改性沥青的相态变化特征,并建立了流变指标与形态学参数间的关系模型,为直接利用形态学方法预估、评价改性沥青高温性能提供理论依据。  相似文献

在630℃下,对P92钢进行应力控制下的蠕变-疲劳交互作用实验,研究P92钢高温蠕变-疲劳交互作用下的裂纹扩展行为,并结合断口形貌分析蠕变-疲劳裂纹扩展的机理以及a-N曲线的转折点含义。结果表明:P92钢在蠕变-疲劳交互作用下的断裂属于蠕变韧性断裂,应该用(C_t)_(avg)作为裂纹扩展的断裂参量;P92钢在蠕变-疲劳交互条件下,试样的断口主要表现为蠕变孔洞以及微裂纹。此外,发现a-lg(N_i/N_f)曲线以及(da-dN)-N曲线中的拐点,分别对应蠕变-疲劳裂纹萌生区向扩展区转变周次以及扩展区向瞬断区转变的周次。  相似文献
