The effect of slope angle for external overburden dump in response to average and heavy rainfall has been analyzed using a two dimensional finite difference method of transient water flow through unsaturated–saturated soil. The external dump stability is evaluated for five geomaterial types on the basis of globally accepted safety factor analysis technique, based on shear strength reduction approach using finite difference method. The results obtained from the finite difference method of analysis indicate that the external dump with more than 30° slope angle is greatly influenced by the rainfall under the studied conditions for geomaterial 3, 4 and 5, whereas dumps with geomaterial 1 and 2 remain safe. The analysis shows that major slope failure is out of preview for the studied rainfall conditions.  相似文献

纳米间隙润滑剂季戊四醇四酯的压缩性能分子动力学模拟   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
季戊四醇四酯(Pentaerythritol tetra(2-ethylhexanoate),PETE)是良好的环境友好润滑剂。采用聚合物一致性力场(PCFF),分别在2种温度、3种初始油膜厚度和8种压力下对纳米间隙中PETE的压缩性能进行分子动力学模拟,研究润滑剂分子和密度的分布规律,并与经典宏观压缩试验得出的Tait方程计算值进行比较。结果表明,随着初始油膜厚度的增加,分子动力学模拟结果越接近Tait方程计算值,当初始油膜厚度为9.17 nm时,相对误差小于5%。在压缩过程中,油膜厚度和润滑剂的可压缩性能随着压力的增大而减小。对于不同初始油膜厚度的油膜,其压缩性能相近。由于PETE的分子结构中有较多且较长的支链,各方向尺度没有太大差异,受压缩后,除了接近固体壁面处有润滑剂原子聚集,其他地方不存在分层现象,且润滑剂与固体壁面之间不存在明显的空隙。  相似文献

为了合理选择螺杆泵定子橡胶材料以提高螺杆泵的使用寿命,分析了不同工况下丁腈橡胶与金属配副的摩擦磨损机理.采用MPV-600环块式摩擦磨损试验机对不同炭黑质量分数的丁腈橡胶在变载荷情况下进行摩擦磨损试验,利用体视显微镜观察橡胶磨损后的表面形貌,使用红外光谱仪分析表面官能团变化.试验结果表明:干摩擦情况下,磨损量在一定炭黑质量分数范围内随其增加而减小,磨损机制为黏着磨损和磨粒磨损;水润滑情况下,由于水的润滑及冷却作用,炭黑质量分数适中的橡胶耐磨性最好,磨损机制为磨粒磨损;原油润滑低载荷情况下,磨损量几乎不受炭黑质量分数的影响,而高载荷情况下,炭黑质量分数越高,磨损量越小,其磨损机制以腐蚀磨损为主.  相似文献

Due to the growing energy requirements, the proportion of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) installed has increased significantly during the past 50 years. Due to the longevity of these systems, ETICS waste is currently accumulating. Owing to the complex construction as well as a multitude of differently installed materials and substances of the past generations, there are many uncertainties and problems with the clean and low-pollutant processing of such systems. In the frame of this work, the ETICS were processed and sorted before being screened for ingredients or pollutants as well as for the purity of the recovered material fractions.  相似文献

In this work, a novel graphene oxide (GO)-fly ash cenospheres (FACs) hybrid fillers was introduced to improve the wear and corrosive resistance of epoxy resin (ER) composite coatings. The tribological behavior and the corrosion performance of three kinds of coatings (pure ER, GO/ER and GO-FACs/ER coatings) were studied and the reinforced mechanisms of coatings filled by different fillers were analyzed. The friction coefficient and wear rate of the ER coatings were decreased with the addition of GO-FACs hybrids. The scanning electron microscope images showed that the dispersibility and compatibility of GO-FACs hybrids were effectively improved compared with that of GO sheet. The water contact angle examination indicated that the hydrophobicity of the GO-FACs/ER coatings increased. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) results demonstrated that the GO-FACs/ER coatings have better anticorrosion performance compared with the pure ER coatings and the GO/ER coatings. The hydrophobic surface and the well dispersed fillers constitute the dual barrier to resist the corrosion medium.  相似文献

A hybrid polymer matrix composite coating, resistant to solid particle erosion inside sharp elbows, consisting interlocking chains of molecules with the ability to deflect the surface impact stress and to uniformly distribute stresses along the hard-ceramic reinforcement mixture surface was developed. Formulated mixture of ceramic reinforcement particles mixtures (alumina, tungsten carbide, and silicon carbide) with polymer coupling agents; to increase adhesion to the metal surface, led to 600–700 HVN in ternary and 500–550 HVN in binary mixtures. This behavior coincides with high shear strength of 70–76 MPa, Young's and shear modulus of 8.86 and 13.4 GPa in ternary 15%Al2O3-5%WC-10%SiC, respectively. The low erosion weight loss of 0.1% and small coefficient of friction near 0.18 indicates the significant wear resistance of the ternary sample. The electron microscopic micrographs determined the dense smooth coating surfaces with adhesive interfaces with the substrate.  相似文献

Aiming to enhance the carbon fiber (CF)/resin interfacial adhesion, this report describes the novel application of sodium citrate (SC) as an auxiliary reducing agent and surface regulator to control the morphology of nano-manganese dioxide (MnO2) on the CF surface. The composites were fabricated by means of controlling the molar concentration ratio of SC to Mn source (0:1, 1:3, 1:2, and 1:1) in hydrothermal synthesis. The results reveal that MnO2 nanosheets on the CF surface become denser as the concentration of SC is 1/3 of Mn source, which makes advance to the surface roughness and surface energy of CF. Simultaneously, the tensile strength of as-prepared composite is increased by 52.8%. The homologous friction coefficient tends to be high and stable and the wear volume is significantly reduced by 63.8 and 26.5% under the applied loads of 3 and 5 N in contrast with the original composites prepared without SC. As a result, it can be inferred that SC plays a crucial role in enhancing the interfacial bonding strength between the CF and matrix, providing insights into the interface control of CF-reinforced resin matrix composites.  相似文献

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is extensively used in frictional applications due to its advanced wear resistance. This advanced polymer is reinforced with hard particulate fillers for further developments against wear conditions. Since elevated temperatures prevail in the service conditions, wear behavior of UHMWPE composites is an important issue for the engineering applications. In the present work, UHMWPE-based composites including silicon carbide (SiC) fillers were fabricated in a compression molding chamber. In the specimen preparation stage, molding pressure, filler amount, and filler particle size were varied to investigate the influence of these variables. Upon deciding the optimum parameters from the wear tests conducted at room temperature, the wear experiments were repeated for the optimum specimen at elevated temperatures, such as 40 and 60°C. According to the results, the wear behavior of the SiC/UHMWPE composites is heavily changed by the effect of elevated temperature. Adhesive effect is pronounced at elevated temperatures while the wear characteristics possess the abrasive effect in the sliding path. In addition, the composites exhibit an accelerated material loss as temperature increases during the frictional system.  相似文献
