The impact of roasting on the ochratoxin A content of coffee

Roasting coffee led to a drop in the ochratoxin A (OTA) concentration, as measured by the reference method, especially for dark type roasts. The way the beverage was prepared also affected the OTA content, which could paradoxically be higher than that of the initial roasted coffee. Assays on the thermal stability of pure OTA showed that it ought to be found in larger quantities in roasted coffee. This suggested that OTA was masked by reactions with the substrate during roasting. The absence of OTA in green coffee is therefore the best guarantee of safety.     

Controlled linear system with delayed relay output under impulse random disturbances

The paper is devoted to the first order delayed linear system with relay output controlled by the proportional-integral (PI) regulator. The deterministic system exhibits stable oscillations, and, since the system itself is stable, it can be suitable to switch off the controller if there are no disturbances during a long time interval. In the present work, the random disturbances are modelled by a Poisson stream of impulses, and the goal is to determine the instants of switching on (off) of the PI controller. After several assumptions and quantization of the time axis, we construct the new optimal control problem which is successfully solved with the help of the dynamic programming approach.

An Agent Interaction Based Method for Nonlinear Process Plan Scheduling

This article puts forward a scheduling method for nonlinear process plan shop floor.Task allocation and load bal- ance are realized by bidding mechanism.Though the agent interaction process,the execution of tasks is determined and the coherence of manufacturing decision is verified.The employment of heuristic index can help to optimize the system performance.     

Logistic Regression Analysis of Customer Satisfaction Data

Variation exists in all processes. Significant work has been done to identify and remove sources of variation in manufacturing processes resulting in large returns for companies. However, business process optimization is an area that has a large potential return for a company. Business processes can be difficult to optimize due to the nature of the output variables associated with them. Business processes tend to have output variables that are binary, nominal or ordinal. Examples of these types of output include whether a particular event occurred, a customer's color preference for a new product and survey questions that assess the extent of the survey respondent's agreement with a particular statement. Output variables that are binary, nominal or ordinal cannot be modeled using ordinary least‐squares regression. Logistic regression is a method used to model data where the output is binary, nominal or ordinal. 汽轮机叶片用X20Cr13钢的热处理工艺研究

采用正交试验对汽轮机叶片用X20Cr13钢进行了热处理工艺研究，以获得该钢的最佳热处理工艺，并在回火后以不同的速度冷却，以揭示冷却速度对钢的回火脆性的影响。结果，X20Cr13钢的最佳热处理工艺为900℃油淬或风冷，670℃回火，风冷。

一种具有弹性服务质量要求的多业务最优接纳控制策略

随着无线网络所支持的业务种类的增加和具有弹性服务质量要求的业务的大量出现，与服务质量保证密切相关的呼叫接纳控制问题成了近年来无线网络研究的热点之一。本文研究了基于准马尔可夫决策过程方法的多业务最优呼叫接纳控制问题。根据业务的特点，首先引入了带宽分配满意度函数和收益率函数，在此基础上，提出了基于带宽分配满意度的最优带宽分配算法和基于准马尔可夫决策过程方法的最优呼叫接纳控制策略。计算结果表明，本文方案能够在对各类业务的呼叫阻塞率进行适当权衡的前提下，进一步提高网络的期望收益率和期望带宽利用率，同时满足了各类业务的最低服务质量要求。
