In this present study, we have reported the preparation of yttrium doped polycrystalline Ca2−xYxCo2O5 (x=0.0–1.0) material by a molten flux method and its various properties like electrical, optical, dielectric and magnetic behaviors. Characterization techniques have been adopted to confirm its physical nature and properties. X-ray diffraction results confirmed the crystal structure of prepared Ca2−xYxCo2O5 as orthorhombic and the scanning electron microscope pictured the presence of platelet-shaped particles with the dimensions of 150–300 nm. It also reveals the state of higher concentration of yttrium (Y3+) controls the grain size of Ca2−xYxCo2O5 ceramics. Further, we find out that the higher concentration of yttrium (Y3+) increases the optical band gap due to the occurrence of metal–insulator transition and also the same in electrical resistivity from 0.2 mΩ cm to 0.5 mΩ cm, which is due to the replacement of holes by Y3+ ions. The result of dielectric studies proves that the conduction mechanism of yttrium doped calcium cobalt oxide is due to space charge polarization. The magnetic saturation behavior shows the decreasing area in the hysteresis curve while the Y3+ concentration is increased, which is due to the phase transition of ferromagnetic to paramagnetic. 相似文献

In this work we study the propagation of exciton-polaritons (bulk and surface modes) in a binary superlattice ABAB…, truncated at z=0, where z is defined as the growth axis. Here A is the spatially dispersive medium, which alternates with a common dielectric medium B (sapphire-Al2O3). The excitonic medium (A) is modelled by a semiconductor from the nitride's family (III-V semiconductor) that has, as a main characteristic, a wide-direct gap. The exciton-polariton spectrum is determined, in both s and p-polarization, by using standard electromagnetic boundary conditions, together with an additional boundary condition (ABC) for the Wannier-Mott excitons, employing a transfer-matrix formalism to simplify the algebra. The dispersion relation shows a bottleneck profile for the superlattice modes, whose behavior is similar to those found in the bulk crystal. Furthermore, interesting properties are revealed from the ABC as well as from different ratios of the thickness of the two superlattices alternating materials. 相似文献

Cu-doped Ga2O3 thin films were deposited by electron beam evaporation with subsequent annealing at 1000 °C in N2 and O2 for 1 h. The influence of the annealing atmosphere on the crystal structure, surface morphology and optical properties of Ga2O3:Cu films was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmittance and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The optical bandgap deduced from the absorption spectrum was greater for the O2 annealed than for N2 annealed samples. In both cases the bandgap was wider than for bulk β-Ga2O3. The grain size and surface roughness were sensitive to the annealing atmosphere. Results confirmed that the annealed samples were polycrystalline β-Ga2O3 with some amorphous phase. We hypothesize that annealing in oxygen led to recrystallization of the Ga2O3:Cu film. Annealing treatment improved the crystal quality of Ga2O3:Cu films and the PL intensity of the samples increased. 相似文献

In the present paper, we report a facile and rapid microwave-assisted combustion synthesis method for the preparation of pure and Ni-doped CuO nanostructures with different weight ratios (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 at wt% of Ni). The structure and morphology of the pure and Ni-doped CuO samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution scanning electron microscopy (HR-SEM), energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDX), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). XRD patterns refined by the Rietveld method indicated the formation of single-phase monoclinic structure and also confirmed that Ni ions are successfully doped into CuO crystal lattice by occupying Cu ionic sites. Interestingly, the morphology was found to transform substantially from nanoflowers to nanoparticles with close-packed periodic array, and then into nanocrystals with the variation of Ni content. The optical band gap estimated using DRS was found to be 3.9 eV for pure CuO and then increases up to 4.3 eV with increasing Ni content. PL spectra at room temperature showed a strong green emission band, and thereby confirmed the above results. Magnetic measurements reveal a room temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM) with an optimum value of saturation magnetization of 1.3140×10−3 emu/g for 2.0 wt% of Ni. 相似文献

In this letter, a compact and fully printed composite right‐ and left‐handed (CRLH) dual‐band power divider is proposed. The branches of the conventional Wilkinson power divider are replaced by subwavelength CRLH phase‐shift lines having +90° for one frequency and ?90° for another frequency for dual‐band and miniaturization performance. Equations are derived for the even‐ and odd‐mode analysis combined with the dual‐band CRLH circuit. A PCS and a WLAN band are chosen as the test case and the circuit approach agrees with the CAD simulation and the measurement.
