The present study investigated the effect of as-built and post heat-treated microstructures of IN738LC alloy fabricated via selective laser melting process on high temperature oxidation behavior.The as-built microstructure showed fine cell and columnar structure due to high cooling rate.Ti element segrega-tion was observed in inter-cell/inter-columnar area.After post heat-treatment,the initially-observed cell structure disappeared,instead bimodal Ni3(Al,Ti)particles formed.High temperature(1273 K and 1373 K)oxidation test results showed parabolic oxidation curves regardless of temperature and initial microstructure.The as-built IN738LC fabricated via the selective laser melting process displayed oxida-tion resistance similar to or slightly better than that of IN738LC fabricated via wrought or cast process.Heat-treated SLM IN738LC,although had similar oxidation weight-gain values to those of the SLM as-built material at 1273 K,showed relatively better oxidation resistance at 1373 K.Bimodal Ni3(Al,Ti)precipitate formed in the post heat treatment changed the local chemical composition,thereby led to changes in alumina former/chromia former location and fraction on the alloy surface.It was concluded that in heat-treated IN738LC increased alumina former fraction was found,and this resulted in excellent oxidation resistance and relatively low weight-gain. 相似文献

As generation of carbon dioxide (CO2) greenhouse gas is inherent in the combustion of fossil fuels, effective capture of CO2 from industrial and commercial operations is viewed as an important strategy which has the potential to achieve a significant reduction in atmospheric CO2 levels. At present, there are three basic capture methods, i.e. post combustion capture, pre-combustion capture and oxy-fuel combustion. In pre-combustion, the fossil fuel is reacted with air or oxygen and is partially oxidized to form CO and H2. Then it is reacted with steam to produce a mixture of CO2 and more H2. The H2 can be used as fuel and the carbon dioxide is removed before combustion takes place. Oxy-combustion is when oxygen is used for combustion instead of air, which results in a flue gas that consists mainly of pure CO2 and is potentially suitable for storage. In post combustion capture, CO2 is captured from the flue gas obtained after the combustion of fossil fuel. The post combustion capture (PCC) method eliminates the need for substantial modifications to existing combustion processes and facilities; hence, it provides a means for near-term CO2 capture for new and existing stationary fossil fuel-fired power plants.This paper briefly reviews CO2 capture methods, classifies existing and emerging post combustion CO2 capture technologies and compares their features. The paper goes on to investigate relevant studies on carbon fibre composite adsorbents for CO2 capture, and discusses fabrication parameters of the adsorbents and their CO2 adsorption performance in detail. The paper then addresses possible future system configurations of this process for commercial applications.Finally, while there are many inherent attractive features of flow-through channelled carbon fibre monolithic adsorbents with very high CO2 adsorption capabilities, further work is required for them to be fully evaluated for their potential for large scale CO2 capture from fossil fuel-fired power stations. 相似文献

Concrete-filled circular steel tubes (CFT) have recently gained significant attention for their enhanced strength and ductility over the conventional steel and reinforced concrete construction. The concrete compressive strength is significantly increased by the lateral confinement provided by the steel tube and local buckling of the steel tube is restrained by the concrete infill. This paper investigates the further enhancement of these composite actions due to post-tensioning the concrete cores inside circular steel tubes. The flexural behavior of a post-tensioned CFT as well as a non-post-tensioned CFT was studied experimentally and analytically. A numerical algorithm for predicting the moment capacities of circular CFT, with or without the post-tensioning effects, has been validated against the test results by the authors as well as those published in the literature. 相似文献
