Supercritical gases pasteurization of apple juice

Supercritical CO₂ and N₂O pasteurization of apple juice, inoculated with Saccharomyces cerevisiae as test microorganism, was performed at 36 °C on a laboratory multi-batch apparatus of a total volume of 150 ml. The pressure values ranged from 100 to 200 bar. Experimental results indicate the effectiveness of the method proposed. A stochastic model of the process was developed on the basis of the experimental evidence: high-pressure inactivation curves were analysed using a stochastic model based on multi-hit model. Furthermore, the samples of the cells subjected to high-pressure treatments were examined by environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) to determine the effect of the process on the cell wall.     

Satellite SAR Remote Sensing of Great Lakes Ice Cover,Part 2. Ice Classification and Mapping

During the 1997 winter season, shipborne polarimetric backscatter measurements of Great Lakes (freshwater) ice types using the Jet Propulsion Laboratory C-band scatterometer, together with surface-based ice physical characterization measurements and environmental parameters, were acquired concurrently with Earth Resource Satellite 2 (ERS-2) and RADARSAT Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. This polarimetric data set, composed of over 20 variations of different ice types measured at incident angles from 0° to 60° for all polarizations, was processed to radar cross-section to establish a library of signatures (look-up table) for different ice types. The library is used in the computer classification of calibrated satellite SAR data. Computer analysis of ERS-2 and RADARSAT ScanSAR images of Great Lakes ice cover using a supervised classification technique indicates that different ice types in the ice cover can be identified and mapped, and that wind speed and direction can have an influence on the classification of water as ice based on single frequency, single polarization data. Once satellite SAR data are classified into ice types, the ice map provides important and necessary input for environmental protection and management, ice control and ice breaking operations, and ice forecasting and modeling efforts.     

高温型Mo-Al2O3金属陶瓷的研制

将Mo与Al2O3粉体按摩尔比为0．3、0．4、0．5配料，混合均匀后通过粉末冶金法制成3种Mo-Al2O3金属陶瓷试样。在1800℃，2h氢气气氛中烧结后，试样的气孔率随Mo含量的增加呈降低趋势，而强度呈增加趋势。同时，随Mo含量增加，金属陶瓷中Al2O3的晶粒尺寸减小，Mo的形态从以弥散状为主转变为以连续状为主。研制的高温型Mo-Al2O3金属陶瓷测温套管（金属与陶瓷摩尔比为0．4）在真空或N2保护条件下测量高温合金熔液温度时，平均使用寿命达到100次。     

On the off-design of a natural gas-fired combined cycle with CO2 capture

During the last 15 years cycles with CO₂ capture have been in focus, due to the growing concern over our climate. Often, a natural gas fired combined cycle with a chemical absorption plant for CO₂ capture from the flue gases have been used as a reference in comparisons between cycles. Neither the integration of the steam production for regeneration of amines in the combined cycle nor the off-design behaviour of such a plant has been extensively studied before.     

Shape-Controlled Synthesis and Upconversion Luminescence of Y2O3:Yb, Er Microstructures

The Y2O3: Yb3 , Er3 microstructures were fabricated by a hydrothermal method without surfactants.The microstructures structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM,KYKY 1000B).The up-conversion luminescence spectra were studied under 978 nm laser diode excitation.In Yb3 and Er3 codoped Y2 O3 microcrystals, the relative intensity of green emission became stronger as the morphology of sample changed from wires to films.     

从水淬渣中回收镓的试验研究

对鼓风炉（ISP法）或烟化炉水淬渣中回收镓的工艺进行了研究。结果表明，利用浓硫酸恒温熟化的独特浸出工艺，克服硅对液固分离的影响；以伯胺N9123作为萃取剂在硫酸介质中萃取镓；获得了含镓品位为2.82%的富集物。     

棕刚玉粉中Al2O3含量分析方法的探讨

对耐火材料——棕刚玉粉的质量分析控制，提出了用实用性的检测方法测定其Al2O3含量。通过与国家标准分析方法的对比试验，证实快速实用分析方法测定棕刚玉粉中Al2O3含量是可行的。     

CO2压缩机节油措施与效果

本分析了山西分公司二期CO2压缩机润滑油消耗高的原因，介绍了采取的针对措施以及2002年取得的节能效果，并进一步指出了CO2压缩机的节能空间。     

合成2,4-二叔丁基苯酚工业试验

以离子交换树脂为催化剂，苯酚和甲基叔丁基醚为原料合成2，4-二叔丁基苯酚(简称2，4酚)，合成产物经过滤再经间歇真空精馏精制提纯，得到高纯度的2，4酚成品。成品精馏后釜中残液在酸性白土催化剂的作用下通过歧化反应生成对叔丁基苯酚，再经精馏提纯得到成品对叔丁基苯酚。通过工艺优化，使2，4酚、对叔丁基苯酚形成联产生产工艺，降低了生产原料消耗和成本。
