A novel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor with three-dimensional (3D) fused deposition modeling (FDM) approach is proposed for effective stress measurement in soil mass. The three-diaphragm structure design is developed to measure earth and water pressures simultaneously. The proposed transducer has advantages of small size, high sensitivity, low cost, immunity to electromagnetic interference and rapid prototyping. The working principle, design parameters, and manufacturing details are discussed. The proposed transducer was calibrated for earth and water pressures measurement by using weights and a specially designed pressure chamber, respectively. The calibration results showed that the wavelength of the transducer was proportional to the applied pressure. The sensitivity coefficients of the earth and water pressures were 12.633 nm/MPa and 6.282 nm/MPa, respectively. Repeated tests and error analysis demonstrated the excellent stability and accuracy of the earth and water pressure measurements. The performance of the proposed transducer was further verified by a model experimental test and numerical analysis, which indicated that the proposed transducer has great potential for practical applications. 相似文献

针对不同打印层厚度对熔融沉积成型(fused deposition modeling,简称FDM)薄板固有特性的影响规律及相应的机理进行了研究。首先,以悬臂边界条件下的FDM薄板为研究对象,创建了固有特性理论模型;其次,完成了薄板样件的制备,同时搭建了样件的动力学测试系统,实验研究了样件的固有特性参数;最后,对比分析理论与实验结果,以验证理论模型的正确性。研究结果表明,所建模型可以准确预测FDM薄板结构的固有特征参数;打印层越厚,样件的固有频率越高,但其模态振型不会随着打印层厚度的变化而变化。该研究为提高FDM产品动力学性能提供了理论基础和技术支持。 相似文献

AbstractThe numerical analysis, based on the finite element modeling (FEM), presents nowadays an efficient computational tool. It allows a better understanding of several thermo-mechanical phenomena involved during the machining process. However, its reliability heavily depends on the accurate definition of the numerical model. In this regard, a FE analysis focused on the 2D modeling of the Ti6Al4V dry orthogonal machining was carried out in this study. The relevance of different numerical meshing approaches and finite elements topologies was studied. The effect of the friction coefficient on the numerical chip morphology, its geometry, the cutting and the feed forces was investigated. The adequacy of several compared adaptive meshing approaches, in terms of the modeling of severe contact conditions taking place around the cutting-edge radius, was underlined in the current study. However, numerical serrated chips, closer to the experimental ones, were only predicted when the pure Lagrangian formulation was adopted and a proper determination of the failure energy was carried out. The definition of different mesh topologies highlighted the efficiency of the 4-node quadrangular mesh, with a suitable edge length, in increasing the agreement with the experimental data, while reducing the computing times. 相似文献

AbstractIn the current study, a predictive model on tool flank wear rate during ultrasonic vibration-assisted milling is proposed. One benefit of ultrasonic vibration is the frequent separation between tool and workpiece as the cutting time is reduced. In order to account for this effect, three types of tool–workpiece separation criteria are checked based on the tool center instantaneous position and velocity. Type I criterion examines the instantaneous velocity of tool center under feed movement and vibration. If the tool is moving away from workpiece, there is no contact. Type II criterion examines the position of tool center. If the tool center is far from the uncut workpiece surface, there is no contact even though the tool is getting closer. Type III criterion describes the smaller chip size due to the overlaps between current and previous tool paths as a result of vibration. If any criterion is satisfied, the tool flank wear rate is zero. Otherwise, the flank wear rate is predicted considering abrasion, adhesion and diffusion. The proposed predictive tool flank wear rate model is validated through comparison to experimental measurements on SKD 61 steel with uncoated carbide tool. The proposed predictive model is able to match the measured tool flank wear rate with high accuracy of 10.9% average percentage error. In addition, based on the sensitivity analysis, smaller axial depth of milling, larger feed per tooth or higher cutting speed will result in higher flank wear rate. 针对爬壁清洗机器人越障时,负压装置的吸附力下降导致吸附不稳定的问题,设计了一种旋翼负压混合吸附工作的多边形履带清洗机器人,并对爬行稳定性及越障性能进行了动力学分析。首先根据机器人爬壁的运动原理,建立机器人沿玻璃幕墙上的动力学模型,计算出电机理论驱动力矩;其次分析机器人在跨越障碍过程中的运动模型,结合与壁面接触的实际受力状态,对越障过程中关键阶段的本体倾翻、滑移两种失效形式进行运动学和动力学分析;然后根据玻璃幕墙实际的障碍高度,确定多边形履带的参数和理论驱动力矩的大小,并研制了实验样机进行爬行和越障试验,结果表明所设计的机器人具有良好的越障性能。 相似文献
