Mixed oxide (MO) with localized growth feature and high growth rate remarkably affects the lifetime of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs), which indicates that clarifying the ceramic cracking mechanism induced by MO is critical for developing new coatings with high durability. Two kinds of TBC models involving spherical and layered mixed oxides are created to explore the influence of MO growth on the local stress state and crack evolution during thermal cycle. The growth of α-Al2O3 is also included in the model. The undulating interface between ceramic coat and bond coat is approximated using a cosine curve. Dynamic ceramic cracking is realized by a surface-based cohesive interaction. The ceramic delamination by simulation agrees with the experimental observation. The effects of MO coverage ratio and growth rate on the TBC failure are also discussed. The results show that the MO growth causes the local ceramic coat to bear the normal tensile stress. The failure mode of coating is turned from α-Al2O3 thickness control to MO growth control. Once the mixed oxide appears, local ceramic cracking is easy to occur. When multiple cracks connect, ceramic delamination happens. Suppressing MO formation or decreasing MO growth can evidently improve the coating durability. Herein, the effects of microstructure on delamination behavior and toughness are discussed in detail. Steel plates have been fabricated by intercritical rolling (IR) under various strains (0.5, 0.8, and 1.1). The results show that increasing applied strain enhances the degree of laminated microstructure, and three kinds of impact fracture occur in sequence. 1) No delamination occurs in the IR0.5 steel plate with approximately equiaxed microstructure. 2) Delamination takes place in the IR0.8 steel plate with obvious laminated microstructure. But a crack parallel to the impact load direction forms beneath the delaminated crack. 3) Delamination is enhanced in the IR1.1 steel plate with enhanced laminated microstructure, and no crack forms below the delaminated crack. The delaminated crack mainly propagates along the laminated interfaces, so the laminated microstructure is the key reason for forming delamination. The more apparent laminated microstructure causes more remarkable laminated tearing at room temperature, large-scale severe plastic deformation in the microstructure below the delaminated crack at low temperatures, and longer zigzag cracks at lower temperatures. Therefore, to improve toughness, the microstructure needs enough laminated structure to inhibit the formation of cracks parallel to the impact load direction below the delaminated crack. 相似文献

有限Ridgelet变换是一种为了克服Wavelet在高维信号处理中的不足而提出的图像处理新方法。通过Radon变换将图像边缘奇异性转变为点奇异性,再利用Wavelet变换针对点奇异性进行处理。根据图像经Radon变换后能量分布紧缩集中,该文提出一种新的Ridgelet改进算法,该算法在图像Ridgelet变换过程中,按能量高低分为两种能量系数矩阵再分别进行降噪处理,并在融合重构以后,再次利用Wavelet变换提取低能量图像中的细节信息并将之融合,二次加强图像细节。使得输出信噪比及图像细节保持上得到大幅度提高。仿真试验表明在受噪声干扰严重情况下,该方法的输出信噪比及视觉效果均优于其他算法。 相似文献

建立了有效的复合材料层合板结构冲击损伤分析方法,层合板面内损伤采用改进的Chang/Chang 失效准则做判据,得到面内各类损伤形式。层间损伤采用与Mixed-Mode粘接元等效的TIEBREAK接触模拟。利用此分析方法,从复合材料薄壁结构设计需要出发,研究了在低能量冲击下,铺层的层间角度、铺层方向、铺层重叠对层合板结构冲击损伤阻抗的影响规律,并对它们的综合影响进行了总体分析,得到了能提高层合板结构损伤阻抗的铺层顺序设计指导。最后用该设计指导对某种铺层结构进行了重新设计和有限元模拟,验证了该设计指导的可行性和有效性。 相似文献

ABSTRACTIn this article the supersonic flutter instability of delaminated carbon nanotube reinforced three-phase composite plate is investigated. The classical laminate plate theory and piston aerodynamic theory are developed to construct the governing equation of delaminated three-phase nano-composite plates. The effective material properties are obtained using Halpin-Tsai relation and rule of mixture. The effects of different parameters including carbon nanotubes (CNTs) weight percentage, fiber volume fraction, CNTs aspect ratio and different fiber orientation on flutter pressure of delaminated reinforced composite plates are considered. According to the results, appending small amount of CNTs (4% wt) into the matrix epoxy can improve the flutter critical pressure by 33% in comparison to the neat matrix epoxy. 相似文献

Abstract: This paper concerns a newly developed peel stopper for sandwich structures, which may be embedded as a core insert or an edge stiffener. The major purpose of the peel stopper is to prevent large debonds/delaminations between face sheets and core in sandwich structures in the case of failure. Experimental investigations of conventional sandwich beams and beams furnished with peel stoppers, under static and fatigue loading conditions, and with temperature monitoring, were conducted. The experimental programme included investigation of crack initiation and propagation, as well as of fatigue endurance of conventional and modified sandwich beams. The results showed that although the peel stoppers did not significantly influence the fatigue life of the sandwich beams, they were exceptionally effective in re-routing the crack propagation away from the face–core interface. Moreover, one of the two peel stopper designs presented prevented face–core debonding/delamination and total failure of the sandwich beams. 相似文献
