In this study, DS5 DK type nanofiltration membranes were tested to recycle the reactive dye bath effluents. Reactive black 5 (RB5), reactive orange 16 (RO16), reactive blue 19 (RB19) and NaCl were used in the experiments to prepare the synthetic dye and salt mixtures. Effects of feed concentration, pressure and cross flow velocity on the permeate flux and color removal were investigated. Permeate flux increased with increasing pressure for all NaCl solutions. Dye concentration had a significant effect on flux values. Under the fixed NaCl concentrations the flux decreased with increasing dye concentrations. Dye rejections greater than 99% were achieved. Permeate was almost colorless. A gel layer formed by the rejected dye on membrane surface operates as a resistance to the permeation of dyes due to complete rejection of high molecule weight dyes, especially for the low salt concentrations. The presence of salt concentration has an interesting effect on color removal. Color removal decreased with increasing salt concentration. Cross flow velocities had also a significant effect on flux values. The dye formed agglomerates at high NaCl concentrations. High cross flow velocities decreased this effect. 相似文献

In this study, poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET)/SiO2 nanocomposites were synthesized by in situ polymerization and melt‐spun to fibers. The superfine structure and properties of PET/SiO2 fibers were studied in detail by means of TEM, DSC, SEM, and a universal tensile machine. According to the TEM, SiO2 nanoparticles were well dispersed in the PET matrix at a size level of 10–20 nm. The DSC results indicated that the SiO2 nanoparticles might act as a marked nucleating agent promoting the crystallization of the PET matrix from melt but which inhibited the crystallization from the glassy state, owing to the “crosslink” interaction between the PET and SiO2 nanoparticles. The tensile strength of 5.73 MPa was obtained for the fiber from PET/0.1 wt % SiO2, which was 17% higher than that of the pure PET. The fibers were treated with aqueous NaOH. SEM photographs showed that more and deeper pits were introduced onto PET fibers, which provided shortcuts for disperse dye and diffused the reflection to a great extent. According to the K/S values, the color strength of the dyeing increased with increasing SiO2 content. 本文应用三种不同晶形的溴碘化银乳剂(立方体、八面体和T-颗粒)和八种硫碳菁染料(大部分为内铵盐结构染料)进行了染料的聚集态的研究。试验结果表明,染料的J-聚集态的形成主要取决于染料的结构,其次依赖于卤化银的晶形。三种不同结构的表面活性剂对染料聚集态的形成均有影响,其中两性的表面活性剂最强,阴离子的表面活性剂次之,中性的表面活性剂最弱。二种中位甲基取代的硫碳菁染料的聚集态受表面活性剂影响最为明显,形成较强的J-态,而对其它六种染料的聚集态影响较小,J-聚集态稍有增强。 相似文献

To reveal the effect of the nigrosine dye, that the addition of the dye lowers the crystallization point (Tc) of molten polyamide resins with substantially no shift in the melting point (Tm), thus suppressing the crystallization enhancement of the crystalline nucleation agents, the characteristics of polyamide 66 (PA‐66) containing nigrosine dye EX (N‐EX) were investigated. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis showed that the addition of N‐EX reduced the crystallization rate and Tc of molten PA‐66 with substantially no shift in Tm, and the crystallization enthalpy per unit of weight of PA‐66 was substantially constant. Tc of molten PA‐66 was lowered with an increase in the amount of N‐EX and reached its maximum at 13 wt % N‐EX. Dynamic mechanical analysis showed that the glass‐transition temperature and the secondary glass‐transition temperature increased with an increasing amount of the dye. On the other hand, the DSC and X‐ray diffraction results indicated that no dye molecule was present in the crystal structure of PA‐66. This effect of the nigrosine dye on PA‐66 is in contrast to those of crystalline nucleation agents, plasticizers, and antiplasticizers. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
