Strength of Metals at High Strain Rates

Results of metal testing in impact tension–compression and indentation are analyzed. As the analysis of these data demonstrates, the strength of metals increases greatly with strain rates and at moderate indentation rates. At high indentation rates, a decrease in the specific energy (per unit volume of a displaced material) necessary for the formation of a conical cavity was observed. The account of the effects of viscosity, temperature increase upon plastic deformation and its localization can be used to explain the above phenomena.

An investigation of the relation between the temperature dependences of the initial unbalance and the output signal of resistance strain sensor bridge circuits

The relation between the initial unbalance and the output signal of bridge circuits when acted upon simultaneously by the physical factor being measured and the temperature of the surroundings when the bridge is supplied from a voltage or current source is investigated. Ion implantation effect on atomic structure of deformed Si, Ir, W, Ni and Cu

It has been revealed, that in Ir subjected to severe plastic deformation, an ultrafine grained structure (UFG) is formed (the grain size of 20-30 nm). Practically no defects have been detected within the grains, while, in the case of Ar⁺ implantation, the subgrain structure with characteristic sizes of about 3-5 nm is formed; defects have been detected within subgrains.The subgrain structure was also revealed in UFG Ni and Cu after severe plastic deformation (SPD) (subgrain size of 3-15 nm), but in the latter case the observed boundary region is broader and subgrain is highly disoriented.     

核材料检测仪的研制

在原来只适于检测(射线的苯基塑料闪烁体上涂以ZnS薄层，使之对γ射线也有很高的灵敏度。根据光电转换原理，采用PC为主控，并用单片机作为数据预处理器，通过标准串口通讯，构成硬件冗余模式；另外，将传统的直通道设计成直角形，使之既能检测金属容器，又能识别强放射性物质；同时，在出口端加装了限速／位阻拦装置，从而解决了γ射线-金属双重识别，反辐射屏蔽和防高速闯关等难题，大大提高了检测系统的可靠性。PC的数据库操作和远程通信等功能使得本仪器能满足现代高端应用的要求。实测表明，本仪器灵敏度高，可靠性好。对应于3mg的U^235仪器报警响应时间小于0．6s，而拦截动作响应时间不大于2s。     

Family-Responsive Interventions, Perceived Organizational and Supervisor Support, Work-Family Conflict, and Psychological Strain.

This study examined organizational family-responsive policies, perceptions of the organization as family supportive, and supervisor support as issues that may be salient to the experience of conflict between paid employment (work) and family roles. Data were collected from 355 managerial personnel in New Zealand. Although work-family conflict and psychological strain were strongly linked, the availability of organizational policies had no significant association with levels of conflict or strain, whereas policy usage was related only to work-to-family interference and not to family-to-work interference. On the other hand, perceptions of the organization as family supportive and supervisor support for work-family balance displayed significant relationships with key variables, highlighting the importance of these variables for interventions designed to ameliorate the negative impact of work-family conflict on managerial well-being. 压电振子径厚耦合振动的二维等效电路研究

提出了一种轴向极化压电圆环和圆片的径厚二维耦合等效电路模型。应用这一模型分析了它们的耦合振动,比较了不同尺寸比例下耦合振动与单一模式振动的异同,发现这种方法比一维等效电路方法能在较宽尺寸范围内更准确的分析压电振子的振动问题。有限元计算和试验测量结果验证了这一模型对压电振子频率计算的准确性。     

利用预曝光技术制备复合结构光纤光栅传感器

报道利用预曝光技术制备的复合结构光纤光栅传感器。提出利用预曝光技术使某一小段光纤的折射率变大,而后在预曝光部分和未曝光部分的交接处一次性写入光栅,即可得到具有两个透射峰的透射谱。实验研究了该复合结构光纤光栅在温度和应力传感上的应用。实验结果表明,利用该复合结构光纤光栅可以实现温度与应变的同时测量。     

X-Ray Measurement of Residual Stress in Plastic Bonded Explosives

The X-ray diffractive technology was adopted for tentative study of plastic bonded explosive. The datum of some new diffractive peaks in standard PDF cards were added. The effects of strain to interplanar distance and crystal size of the explosive were studied. The results show that grain size of plastic bonded explosive is decreasing with the increasing of the pressure, and the residual stress of the explosive is draw stress.
