Extraction of Trivalent Europium and Americium from Nitric Acid Solution with Bisdiglycolamides

Two bisdiglycolamides (BisDGAs) of N,N,N′′′,N′′′-tetrabutyl-N?,N′′-ethidene bisdiglycolamide (TBE-BisDGA) and N,N,N′′′,N′′′-tetrabutyl-N?,N′′-m-xylylene bisdiglycolamide (TBX-BisDGA) were synthesized. Their extraction behaviors of Eu(III) and Am(III), as well as nitric acid were investigated from nitric acid medium by using n-octanol as diluent. Nitric acid is extracted as the form of HNO₃·(BisDGAs)_0.6 by BisDGAs and the conditional acid uptake constants of TBE-BisDGA and TBX-BisDGA were 0.26 and 0.10, respectively. The distribution ratios of Eu(III) and Am(III) increased with the increase of nitric acid and extractant concentration, whilst decreased with temperature rise. TBX-BisDGA had a stronger extraction power for Eu(III) and Am(III) than TBE-BisDGA. Both of the extractants displayed a higher affinity toward Eu(III) than Am(III). In the examination of the acidity range from 0.5 to 5.0 M, a maximum separation factor SF_{Eu(III)/Am(III)} can reach 8.0 at 3.0 M HNO₃ for TBX-BisDGA; and 10 at 4.0 M HNO₃ for TBE-BisDGA, respectively. Slope analyses showed that Eu(III) and Am(III) are extracted as di-solvated species by TBX-BisDGA or TBE-BisDGA. The extraction mechanism was described and the apparent extraction equilibrium constant as well as Gibbs free energy change, enthalpy change and entropy change were presented. In addition, their Eu(III) complexes were analyzed by using infrared spectra.     

Optical properties of Eu-activated orthosilicates and orthophosphates

The luminescence of Eu²⁺ in Ba₂SiO₄, Sr₂SiO₄, KBaPO₄ and KSrPO₄ has been studied. Luminescence measurements in the temperature range from 4.2 K to 550 K were performed and gave detailed information on the luminescence properties of divalent europium on both sites available in the orthosilicates. Based on the results on the Eu²⁺-activated orthophosphates and on a model proposed earlier we are able to assign and to explain the different emissions of Eu²⁺ on these two sites.

Gd3Al5O12：Eu^3＋柠檬酸盐硝酸盐燃烧法合成及其发光性能研究

采用柠檬酸盐硝酸盐燃烧法，在较低的温度（900℃）下成功地合成单一晶相Gd3Al5O12：Eu^3＋发光粉体，紫外激发荧光光谱分析表明，粉体615m和593m荧光发射源于Eu^3＋的^5D0-^7F2和^5D0-^7F1跃迁．该方法中各工艺条件（如pH值、柠檬酸／金属离子比、煅烧温度）对Gd3Al5O12：Eu^3＋发光性能均有影响，通过试验得出了获得最佳发光性能荧光粉体的工艺参数．

Luminescence and Preparation of LED Phosphor Ca8Mg （ SiO4）4Cl2 ： Eu^2＋

Calcium magnesium chlorosilicate doped by europium, Ca8Mg（SiO4）4Cl2： Eu^2＋, was prepared by the solid state reaction at high temperature. The compound obtained is pure Ca8Mg（SiO4）4Cl2 phase with cubic structure. Its average particle size is 5 μm, and it has good dispersity and morphological form. The excitation spectrum of Ca8Mg（SiO4）4Cl2： Eu^2＋ is a wide band, which covers from 270 to 480 nm. The emission spectrum is also a wide band peaked at 510 nm. The luminescent intensity reaches to the maximum when the concentration of Eu^2 ＋ is 2%. The wavelength of emission and excitation of the phosphor with various Eu^2 ＋ contents keeps constant. This spectrum range matches violet and blue LED chips very well, and its strong luminescence intensity is suitable for a green phosphor of tricolor phosphor of white light LED.     

紫外光固化掺Eu0.6Gd0.4(TTA)3phen 水性荧光防伪油墨的制备与性能

合成了顺丁烯二酸酐改性双酚A环氧丙烯酸酯水性光固化树脂和Eu0．6Gd0．4(TTA)3Pen稀土配合物荧光粉，通过复配，制备了发红色荧光的稀土配合物水性荧光防伪油墨，并研究了配合物含量对荧光强度的影响。结果表明，涂膜的荧光强度随Eu0．6Gd0．4(TTA)3Phen含量的增加而增强，发光强度与铕含量不成线性关系。当铕的含量达到0．14％，涂膜在紫外光(365nm)照射下，能发出明亮的红色荧光。     

分子束外延Pb1—xEuxTe材料的红外透射谱研究

在2.5～25μm范围内测量了分子束外延(MBE)Pb_(1-x)Eu_xTe薄膜材料(x=0,0.011,0.032,0.045)的室温红外透射谱,得到了折射率的色散关系及禁带宽度与组份x的关系,首次报道了禁带宽度与光学介电常数的经验公式,讨论了本文结果与其它报道的不同之处。     

铕-苯甲酸-1,10-菲咯啉的合成及谱学性质

合成了稀土元素铕( )-苯甲酸-1,10-菲咯啉的三元配合物。通过元素分析和红外光谱确定了配合物的组成为EuL3phen(L∶苯甲酸根,phen∶1,10-菲咯啉)。通过发射光谱和激发光谱的测试表明,三元配合物在579、591、614、649、690nm处产生发射峰,分别归属于Eu3+的5D0→7F0、5D0→7F1、5D0→7F2、5D0→7F3、5D0→7F4跃迁。从发射光谱的峰强和激发光谱在200nm～380nm范围内产生宽而强的吸收峰可以得出第二配体phen的加入能显著增加Eu3+的发光强度,由此说明phen的加入更有利于配体吸收能量,也有利于配体更有效地向Eu3+传递能量。另外,对三元配合物的远红外光谱和拉曼光谱进行了分析。
