The microstructure characteristics in early stage shear localization of near-α Ti?6Al?2Zr?1Mo?1V titanium alloy were investigated by split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) tests using hat-shaped specimens. The microstructural evolution and deformation mechanisms of hat-shaped specimens were revealed by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) method. It is found that the nucleation and expansion of adiabatic shear band (ASB) are affected by both geometric and structural factors. The increase of dislocation density, structure fragment and temperature rise in the deformation-affected regions provide basic microstructural conditions. In addition to the dislocation slips, the extension twins detected in shear region also play a critical role in microstructural fragmentation due to twin-boundaries effect. Interestingly, the sandwich structure imposes a crucial influence on ASB, which finally becomes a mature wide ASB in the dynamic deformation. However, due to much larger width, the sandwich structure in the middle of shear region is also possible to serve as favorable nucleation sites for crack initiation.  相似文献

设计了一种管状疲劳试样,高温高压水流经试样内部,试样外部与空气接触。利用管状试样研究了316LN不锈钢高温高压水腐蚀疲劳性能,重点关注了应变速率对其疲劳性能的影响。实验结果表明,高温高压水环境降低了316LN不锈钢的疲劳强度,且疲劳寿命随应变速率降低而降低;管状试样与标准棒状试样获得的疲劳寿命相差不大,表明利用管状试样研究核电结构材料高温高压水环境疲劳性能是合理可行的。在低应变速率条件下,疲劳裂纹源区域为典型的扇形花样,呈现准解理开裂特征。疲劳裂纹扩展区为典型的疲劳辉纹特征。疲劳裂纹萌生阶段高温高压水环境效应更加显著。同时讨论了316LN不锈钢在高温高压水环境中的疲劳损伤机理。  相似文献

为研究电机定子线棒老化后的绝缘特性,制备了按实际线棒尺寸比例缩小的线棒试样,并对其进行了单独的热、电老化实验,后测量了不同老化程度线棒试样的等温松弛电流,并基于等温松弛理论研究分析了线棒绝缘内的陷阱分布变化。结果表明:线棒绝缘在冷热循环老化过程中存在"后固化"的现象,绝缘内陷阱密度先增加后减小;而在电老化过程中,试样绝缘内浅能级陷阱密度增加。根据不同极化过程对等温松弛电流的贡献,建立了定子线棒等温松弛电流的三阶指数衰减模型。研究表明,电机线棒老化的主要表现是环氧树脂和云母之间界面中缺陷的增加,而三指数衰减模型对等温松弛电流数据的拟合结果也足够准确。  相似文献

The dynamic properties of an intercritically annealed 0.2C5Mn steel with ultrafine-grained austenite–ferrite duplex structure were studied under dynamic shear loading. The formation and evolution mechanisms of adiabatic shear band in this steel were then investigated using interrupted experiments at five different shear displacements and the subsequent microstructure observations. The dynamic shear plastic deformation of the 0.2C5Mn steel was observed to have three stages: the strong linear hardening stage followed by the plateau stage, and then the strain softening stage associated with the evolution of adiabatic shear band. High impact shear toughness was found in this 0.2C5Mn steel, which is due to the following two aspects: the strong linear strain hardening by martensite transformation at the first stage, and the suppressing for the formation of shear band by the continuous deformation in different phases through the proper stress and strain partitioning at the plateau stage. The evolution of adiabatic shear band was found to be a two-stage process, namely an initiation stage followed by a thickening stage. The shear band consists of two regions at the thickening stage: a core region and two transition layers. When the adjoining matrix is localized into the transition layers, the grains are refined along with increasing fraction of austenite phase by inverse transformation. However, when the transition layers are transformed into the core region, the fraction of austenite phase is decreased and almost disappeared due to martensite transformation again. These interesting observations in the core region and the transition layers should be attributed to the competitions of the microstructure evolutions associated with the non-uniformly distributed shear deformation and the inhomogeneous adiabatic temperature rise in the different region of shear band. The 0.2C5Mn TRIP steel reported here can be considered as an excellent candidate for energy absorbers in the automotive industry.  相似文献

Small specimens are increasingly being used in getting mechanical properties directly when there are limited materials to facilitate standard specimens, which play a great role in the rapid measurement of mechanical properties and residual life assessment of in-service reactor components. Although tensile and fatigue properties of the small specimens are investigated extensively, theoretical models for describing the mechanical properties of small specimens need to be established. Here, we conduct a systematic investigation of tensile and fatigue properties of pure Cu specimens with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 0.2 mm. The results show that the decrease in uniform elongation of the 0.2 mm-thick specimens is mainly due to the effects of grain boundary and free surface on the strain hardening rate. A modified theoretical model correlated with the ratio of the surface grain layer thickness to the grain size is proposed to predict variation in yield strength of the small specimens more accurately. Furthermore, the mechanism for the difference in fatigue life between the 0.2 mm-thick specimen and other thicker specimens is elucidated. The Basquin equation-based model is presented as a potential way to evaluate the fatigue life of metals using small specimens.  相似文献

为考察后置翼墙加固混凝土框架柱的抗震性能,结合已有研究中试验轴压比为0.31、0.36、0.40,原柱纵筋配筋率为0.82%~1.23%的18个后置翼墙加固试件的低周反复荷载试验,采用ABAQUS软件进行了675个后置翼墙加固试件在水平反复荷载下的有限元模拟。试验和有限元分析结果表明:由于后置翼墙作为原柱的耗能及加固部件有效保护了原柱,后置翼墙加固试件中原柱损伤相对较轻;后置翼墙一字形加固柱的损伤主要发生在两片后置翼墙端部区域,T形及L形加固柱原柱损伤主要发生在未后置翼墙一侧,且损伤区域较小;建立了翼墙加固柱极限层间位移角关于原柱轴压比、剪跨比、翼墙钢筋配筋率等关键参数的计算式。  相似文献

A longstanding limitation of imaging with serial block‐face scanning electron microscopy is specimen surface charging. This charging is largely due to the difficulties in making biological specimens and the resins in which they are embedded sufficiently conductive. Local accumulation of charge on the specimen surface can result in poor image quality and distortions. Even minor charging can lead to misalignments between sequential images of the block‐face due to image jitter. Typically, variable‐pressure SEM is used to reduce specimen charging, but this results in a significant reduction to spatial resolution, signal‐to‐noise ratio and overall image quality. Here we show the development and application of a simple system that effectively mitigates specimen charging by using focal gas injection of nitrogen over the sample block‐face during imaging. A standard gas injection valve is paired with a precisely positioned but retractable application nozzle, which is mechanically coupled to the reciprocating action of the serial block‐face ultramicrotome. This system enables the application of nitrogen gas precisely over the block‐face during imaging while allowing the specimen chamber to be maintained under high vacuum to maximise achievable SEM image resolution. The action of the ultramicrotome drives the nozzle retraction, automatically moving it away from the specimen area during the cutting cycle of the knife. The device described was added to a Gatan 3View system with minimal modifications, allowing high‐resolution block‐face imaging of even the most charge prone of epoxy‐embedded biological samples.  相似文献

Cryogenic transmission electron microscopy of high‐pressure freezing (HPF) samples is a well‐established technique for the analysis of liquid containing specimens. This technique enables observation without removing water or other volatile components. The HPF technique is less used in scanning electron microscopy (SEM) due to the lack of a suitable HPF specimen carrier adapter. The traditional SEM cryotransfer system (PP3000T Quorum Laughton, East Sussex, UK; Alto Gatan, Pleasanton, CA, USA) usually uses nitrogen slush. Unfortunately, and unlike HPF, nitrogen slush produces water crystal artefacts. So, we propose a new HPF specimen carrier adapter for sample transfer from HPF system to cryogenic‐scanning electronic microscope (Cryo‐SEM). The new transfer system is validated using technical two applications, a stearic acid in hydroxypropyl methylcellulose solution and mice myocardium. Preservation of samples is suitable in both cases. Cryo‐SEM examination of HPF samples enables a good correlation between acid stearic liquid concentration and acid stearic occupation surface (only for homogeneous solution). For biological samples as myocardium, cytoplasmic structures of cardiomyocyte are easily recognized with adequate preservation of organelle contacts and inner cell organization. We expect this new HPF specimen carrier adapter would enable more SEM‐studies using HPF.  相似文献

水泥抗压强度的测定过程有成型、养护、破型三个主要环节。各环节的试验条件不同,将直接影响抗压强度的测定结果。研究了水泥试件成型过程中流动度、试件尺寸、表面状态等试验条件对试件抗压强度测定结果的影响。结果表明:在一定范围内水灰比与抗压强度呈正相关关系,即水灰比越大,其流动度越好,抗压强度越高,当超过这个范围后,随着水灰比的增大,抗压强度逐渐减小;随着试件尺寸逐渐变大,抗压强度依次降低;试模涂油量多少不同,导致试件表面状态存在差异,涂油量过多或过少都会使抗压强度的测定结果偏低。  相似文献

通过对两种氧含量测试试样的制样方法及其氧含量测试结果进行对比、分析,总结出一种简便有效的制样方法———物理学法。实验表明,采用该制样方法制样时,能得到准确性、一致性较好的氧含量测试结果,且该制样方法简单高效,试样质量易于判断和控制。  相似文献
