Recent Development of Cognitive and Neuropsychological Assessment in Asian Countries.

There is a growing trend of research in neuropsychological assessment in Asia: The mean number of published studies increased from 1.8 in the 1980s to 16.0 in 2 recent years. About 40% of the studies reviewed concerned test development or adaptation, with the latter greatly outnumbering the former. To facilitate the test selection for clinical use, 36 clinical measures were evaluated based on some statistical criteria. The results showed that only 8 neuropsychological tests (5 Chinese. 2 Korean, and 1 Japanese) met the criteria. Given that Asian and Western populations differ on certain cognitive processes, future development of neuropsychological assessment measures in Asia should move from the adaptation of Western tests toward the construction of original tests with better ecological validity. Validity of Three Measures of Communication for Predicting Relationship Adjustment and Stability Among a Sample of Young Couples.

The goal of this study was to examine whether data from 3 different measures of communication (i.e., self-report, quasi-observational, and observational) can predict relationship adjustment and stability 1 year later when used conjointly in a sample of 62 young couples. The 3 measures of communication were the Communication Skills Test-Revised (CST-R), the Communication Box (CB), and the Demand/Withdraw Pattern Questionnaire (DWPQ). Through hierarchical multiple regression analyses, results revealed that the CST-R and the DWPQ predict both genders' relationship adjustment 1 year later when used conjointly. Logistic regression analyses revealed that none of the measures of communication significantly predicted relationship stability. In conclusion, the combination of the CST-R and the DWPQ appears to be useful for longitudinally predicting relationship adjustment. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)

根据气田开发特点和国内外开发实践，对气田平均产能评价方法、开发速度与稳产的关系以及气区开采潜力等问题进行了探讨，以提高开发评价、开发建设及投资决策的科学性与可靠性，达到高效开发和稳定供气的目的。分析评价了国内外常用的6种气井产能评价方法，指出了其适用条件。利用中国、土库曼斯坦和俄罗斯部分开发历史较长的气田开发实例分析了开发速度与稳产的关系，结果表明四川裂缝系统稳产情况最好，而土库曼斯坦气田稳产关系最差。利用俄罗斯已枯竭老气区、正在开发的大型主力气区以及中国四川开采历史较长气区的开发实例，对气区开采潜力进行综合分析和探讨，认为在预测气田（或气区）的开发潜力、稳定供气水平和年限时，要全面评价、预计尚未探明储量的规模、质量、投产时间、投产顺序以及储量的可信度和可靠性，以降低开发决策的风险，提高中、长期开发规划的科学性。图5表2参10
