Clear poly(methyl-methacrylate)—PMMA—dosimeter is widely used in food irradiations. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) is one of the unique tools used for studying free-volumes and open-volume type defects in solid media. The Vicker's microhardness measurements offer a simple and nondestructive tool for investigating the mechanical behavior of polymer materials. PALS as well as microhardness measurements were carried out for PMMA samples, irradiated with low- and high-linear energy transfers (LET). The low-LET irradiations were provided at lethal doses of gamma radiations for vegetative bacteria. Such irradiations showed a chain scission in the PMMA samples. High-LET irradiations showed behavior different from the low-LET ones. The observed behavior depends on the alpha particle fluence. The microhardness testing was carried out for virgin and irradiated PMMA samples at high-LET. A negative correlation was found between PALS measurements and microhardness results. The optical characteristics and structural studies for the virgin and irradiated PMMA samples were in agreement with the PALS and microhardness measurements. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In systems research, the fuzzy measures we encounter most often are finite and established on S-compact spaces, which contain finite and infinitely countable measurable spaces. The structural characteristics of set function, such as null-additivity, autocontinuity, and uniform autocontinuity, are very important for the researches in fuzzy integral. For a fuzzy measure, the null-additivity is a quite weak requirement added on it, but the autocontinuity and the uniform autocontinuity are very powerful properties. In this paper, we prove that the null-additivity is equivalent to the uniform autocontinuity for the finite fuzzy measures on S-compact spaces.  相似文献

During approximate 773 K aging treatment of 100Mn13 steel, degenerate pearlite will occur and evolve into lamellar pearlite during growth process. The microstructures of degenerate pearlite and its evolutionary lamellar pearlite are observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that after 748 K, 773 K and 798 K aging, degenerate pearlites occur at grain boundary. At growth front of degenerate pearlite forming at 773 K and 798 K, pearlite presents a morphology of short lamellae of carbide and ferrite, indicating a trend of developing into lamellar pearlite. The higher the temperature is, the more obvious the trend is, and even a conventional lamellar pearlite has developed. However, there is no morphological evolution for degenerate pearlite forming at 748 K aging. Besides, the constituents of degenerate pearlite is identified as M23C6 and ferrite, and Kurdjumov-Sachs orientation relationship exists between them, (01 )α//( 1 )M23C6, [111]α//[110]M23C6. This orientation relationship maintains in morphological evolution from degenerate pearlite to lamellar pearlite.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Alloying of Fe, Co was reported to tailor microstructure of copper alloys into a nanoprecipitate-fine grain (NPFG) structure, i.e. nano-sized iron-rich precipitates dispersed inside refined grains. Here, we investigate the solute effect of Sn, Zn on NPFG structure in as-cast copper samples. Mechanisms are proposed to account for the solute effect on precipitate and grain features. Solutes restrict coarsening but facilitate undesirable morphology transition from spherical to angular of iron-rich precipitates. Meantime, solutes allow more precipitates to be active in the nucleation of copper and consequently induce finer grains. Minor Sn is added to optimise NPFG structure and leads to an excellent strength–ductility combination in Cu–1.5Fe–0.1Sn (wt-%) alloy. This work provides a solute-alloying strategy to achieve desired mechanical properties in metals.  相似文献

The global avalanche characteristics criterion of two Boolean functions was introduced by Zhou et al. [On the global avalanche characteristics criterion of two Boolean functions and the higher order nonlinearity, Inform. Sci. 180(2) (2010), pp. 256–265] to measure the cryptographic behaviour in a global characteristic. The two indicators σ f, g and Δ f, g of Boolean functions f and g were presented. In this paper, a new upper bound on σ f, g is derived, and a technique on constructing Boolean functions to attain the lower bound on the sum-of-squares indicator is described by using the disjoint spectra method. Some new upper bounds on Δ f, g and σ f, g are deduced for two special Boolean functions. Two relationships between σ f, g and algebraic immunity of the two Boolean functions are obtained. Finally, some links among different cryptographic indicators are shown.  相似文献

The nonlinearity and small strain characteristics of clay are predominant factors to affect the analysis accuracy of surface settlement induced by deep excavation in soft clay. In this study, we use a newly developed constitutive model, namely the undrained soft clay model, to simulate the nonlinearity of soft clay and to describe the degradation of elastic Young's modulus with the increasing stress level, ranging from small strain to near failure. The parameters of the formula can be obtained from conventional soil tests. One well-documented case history is then used to show the parameter determination procedure and validate the proposed model. The states of strain and stress paths for the soil in the excavation are also studied to validate the rationality of the model. Besides, two additional case studies are conducted to verify the model further.  相似文献
