A Simon Effect With Stationary Moving Stimuli.

To clarify whether motion information per se has a separable influence on action control, the authors investigated whether irrelevant direction of motion of stimuli whose overall position was constant over time would affect manual left-right responses (i.e., reveal a motion-based Simon effect). In Experiments 1 and 2, significant Simon effects were obtained for sine-wave gratings moving in a stationary Gaussian window. In Experiment 3, a direction-based Simon effect with random-dot patterns was replicated, except that the perceived direction of motion was based on the displacement of single elements. Experiments 4 and 5 studied motion-based Simon effects to point-light figures that walked in place--displays requiring high-level analysis of global shape and local motion. Motion-based Simon effects occurred when the displays could be interpreted as an upright human walker, showing that a high-level representation of motion direction mediated the effects. Prediction of spectral reflectance factor distribution of automotive paint finishes

It is necessary to determine the accurate reflectance of painted surfaces for the review of paint finishes by computer graphics (CG) before actual painting of the exterior color of automobiles, and for quality control during production and inspection processes. We have optimized a method for measuring reflectance by using a statistical technique. We have found that the reflectance of a painted surface is best measured at an incident angle of 60° and at five aspecular angles of 10°, 18°, 28°, 40°, and 90°. Our method makes it possible to accurately reproduce reflection characteristics of paint finishes containing special flake pigments, such as pearl mica. Also it was proved that our method can apply not only to solid and metallic coatings but to all painted surfaces. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 生物膜法处理2,3-二甲基苯胺废水试验研究

采用缺氧折流板生物膜和循环移动载体生物膜反应器处理2，3－二甲基苯胺废水，结果表明，缺氧折流板反应器具有厌氧滤池和厌氧折流板反应器的优点，当水力停留时间为10．5h(缺氧5．5h，好氧5h)时，系统去除率可达89．7％。     

基于区域生长法的医学图像分割研究

针对基于区域的分水岭分割算法中通常存在的严重过分割现象，通过两点措施来改进：其一，以梯度图像的浮点活动图像取代梯度图像进行分水岭变换，使边缘定位更准确；其二，以基于面积和对比度控制的合并小区域准则，有效抑制过分割现象，同时满足感兴趣区的分割要求。实验表明该算法简单有效，能够得到符合人类视觉系统特性的分割结果，边缘定位精确度较高。     

脉冲相干激光雷达对运动目标成像模拟

针对运动目标，在考虑激光雷达方程、信噪比和自动增益、成像指标、噪声、图像处理等模块的基础上，对脉冲相干成像激光雷达进行了运动目标的成像模拟。     

湛江发电厂一号机振动的原因分析及处理

对湛江发电厂1号机4号轴瓦振动大的问题进行分析,认为其主要原因为:低压缸变形大导致动静碰摩,轴承座及盘车箱下部脱空引起刚度降低,轴承座的固有频率与工频相近等。对此,采取了相应的处理措施,实施后4号轴瓦振动得到有效解决。     

动基座自校零压电陀螺

研制的一种压电陀螺能在动基座条件下自动消除由于温度和时间变化造成的零位漂移。典型的产品可使零位变化小于０．０５°／ｓ。零位的温度系数小于０．０００５°／ｓ／℃。     

一种快速的海面特征SAR成像仿真技术

水下物体运动引起扰动，会在海面产生尾迹。这种尾迹特征同运动物体的参数和下潜的深度以及海况有关。研究这种尾迹特征及其合成孔径雷达(SAR)成像，就有可能利用SAR来检测这个水下运动物体。本文给出了一种水下运动物体的伴流尾迹的快速模拟方法及其合成孔径雷达(SAR)成像仿真方法，并对模拟仿真的结果进行了讨论。     

ON THE INVERTIBILITY OF PERIODIC MOVING-AVERAGE MODELS

Abstract. A sufficient condition for the invertibility of univariate periodic moving-average models has been given by Cipra and Ghysels and Hall. We show that this condition is not a necessary one, and provide a necessary and sufficient condition for the general m -variate, d -periodical moving-average MA( q ) case.     

Decomposition of Time Series Dynamic Linear Models

This paper derives the admissible decompositions for a time series dynamic linear model, assuming only that the model is observable. The decompositions depend on factorizations of the characteristic polynomial of the state evolution matrix G into relatively prime factors. This generalizes the method of West (1997 ) which considers one decomposition in the particular case where G is diagonalizable. Conditions are derived for a decomposition to be independent. These results show that no autoregressive process of order d has an independent decomposition for any integer d . Two illustrations of this procedure are discussed in detail.
