Oxidative coupling of methane over CaO-MgO mixed oxide

Mixed oxide catalyst prepared by co-precipitating magnesium oxide and calcium oxide showed an excellent activity for the oxidative coupling of methane. The high performances were presumed to arise from the high basicity of the mixed oxide.     

Kinetics of the decomposition of total aliphatic waxes in olive oil during deodorization

Changes in the content of aliphatic waxes during industrial deodorization and/or physical refining of bleached olive oil were studied in an experimental discontinuous pilot plant of 250 kg deodorizer using nitrogen as stripping gas in place of steam. The kinetic constants for the decomposition of waxes during the deodorization process were determined. The reaction orders studied are zero (or can be considered zero) within the working interval. The values of rate constants, activation energy, frequency factor, increment of activation Gibbs free energy, activation enthalpy, and activation entropy are established.     

HT-730改性酚醛-丁腈胶粘剂的研制

对酚醛-丁腈胶粘剂进行改性，添加5．0％的硅烷偶联剂，改善了酚醛-丁腈胶粘剂的工艺性能，提高了粘接强度，特别是降低了酚醛-丁腈胶对环境湿度的敏感性。研制的HT-730胶在环境湿度90％时仍有很高的粘接强度，同时老化性能和适用期并没有受到影响。

PVC╱NBR╱BR三元共混弹性体的制备

采用结合丙烯腈含量为26％的NBR、分子量适中的悬浮法Ⅲ型PVC和BR共混,制得了综合性能较PVC/NBR并用胶优异的弹性体。优选的工艺条件为:PVC/NBR/BR=30/60/10(质量比);补强剂选用炭黑40份,超细碳酸钙50份,轻质碳酸钙20份;硫化体系选用过氧化物加少量硫磺;混炼温度为140—170℃,混炼时间为10—15min。通过电子显微镜和动态力学分析,弹性体存在两个T,PVC为分散相,橡胶为连续相。     

FEM analyses for influences of stress corrosion and pressure solution on THM coupling in dual-porosity rock mass

Synthesis of thermosetting poly(phenylene ether) containing allyl groups

New thermosetting poly(2-allyl-6-methylphenol-co-2,6-dimethylphenol)s (3) have been developed by oxidative coupling copolymerization of 2-allyl-6-methylphenol (1) with 2,6-dimethylphenol (2), followed by thermal curing. Copolymerization was conducted in nitrobenzene in the presence of copper(I) chloride and pyridine as the catalyst under a stream of oxygen, producing high molecular weight copolymers (M_n∼50,000) with broad molecular weight distributions (M_w/M_n∼35). The structure of resulting copolymers 3 was characterized by IR, ¹H, and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy. Cross-linking reactions of copolymers were carried out by thermal treatment in the absence or presence of a peroxide (3 wt%, 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)-3-butane). The 10% weight loss and glass transition temperatures of the cured copolymers were 436 °C in nitrogen and 235 °C, respectively after curing at 70 °C for 1 h and 300 °C for 1 h. The average refractive index of the cured copolymer (3b) film was 1.5407, from which the dielectric constant (ε) at 1 MHz was estimated as 2.6. The ε and dissipation factor of copolymer-films at 1 MHz were directly measured from their capacitances as 2.5-2.6 and 0.0015-0.0019, respectively.     

Bi-based superconductors fabricated in high magnetic fields

The microstructure and superconducting properties of Bi-2223 superconductor fabricated in high magnetic fields were investigated. The results shows that the Bi-2212 grains with their c-axis parallel to the magnetic field were formed after the partial-melting and solidification in 8 T magnetic field, and transformed into the Bi-2223 grains with c-axis alignment during the further sintering process at 840 ℃ without magnetic field. The conversion of Bi-2212 grains to Bi-2223 grains has the heredity in grain alignment. The mixed structures of the Bi-2223 and the Bi-2212 grains with their c-axis parallel to the magnetic field are formed in samples sintered at 850-855 ℃ in 10 T magnetic field. When sintered in 10 T below 845 ℃, a high proportion of Bi-2223 phase is obtained, however no preferred orientation is observed. The Bi-2223 grains with their c-axis parallel to the axial direction of the vertical tube furnace are formed not only on the surface, but also in the center of the sample sintered at 850 ℃ for 120 h in a 15 ℃/cm temperature gradient without magnetic field. Moreover, the samples sintered in the temperature gradient and in a 10 T magnetic field have a stronger c-axis alignment ofbi-2223 phase.
