Increasing the precision of a device used to determine the dynamic coefficient of friction

A theoretical evaluation of the potential application of a device with inclined plane for determining the dynamic coefficient of friction is given. Structural changes in the device that make it possible to increase its precision are proposed. Cost effectiveness of decentralized energy supply systems taking solar and wind utilization plants into account

In this article, results are presented of annual simulations of a decentralized (regional) plant for the power and heat supply of a residential complex. This complex consists of four houses with 40 flats all in all. The annual power consumption of the complex is 157 MWh and the heat requirement is 325 MWh. The concrete dynamics of the energy demands over the year is taken into consideration. The energy supply system is composed of a power-controlled combined heat and power (CHP) plant (55 kW), a photovoltaic plant (PV array or PV plant) array for power generation as well as a field of solar thermal collectors with a short-term accumulator for water heating and a long-term accumulator for supplying heat for domestic heating purposes. Simulation results demonstrate that synergetic effects result from the combination of a CHP plant with wind power and PV plants of varying sizes, which have an effect on the cost effectiveness of the plant as a whole with the different dynamics of energy sources (wind and solar energies) and of the consumption of power and heat being the decisive factors. The power deficits of wind power and PV plants are compensated through the application of a natural gas-operated CHP plant. In almost all variants, the demand for fossil energy carriers is distinctly less than in conventional energy supply plants.     

Study on mechanical principle of reinforcing sidewalls and corners of roadway to control floor heave by anchors

The movement principle of sidewalls and floor of extraction opening is analyzed, it is found that floor heave not only has something to do with the floor strata, but sidewalls. The effect of sidewall anchor and corner anchor is studied, the mechanical principle of reinforcing sidewalls and corners is put forward and applied in engineering practice.

Motion compensated film restoration

Motion picture films are susceptible to local degradations such as dust spots. Other deteriorations are global such as intensity and spatial jitter. It is obvious that motion needs to be compensated for before the detection/correction of such local and dynamic defects. Therefore, we propose a hierarchical motion estimation method ideally suited for high resolution film sequences. This recursive block-based motion estimator relies on an adaptive search strategy and Radon projections to improve processing speed. The localization of dust particles then becomes straightforward. Thus, it is achieved by simple inter-frame differences between the current image and motion compensated successive and preceding frames. However, the detection of spatial and intensity jitter requires a specific process taking advantage of the high temporal correlation in the image sequence. In this paper, we present our motion compensation-based algorithms for removing dust spots, spatial and intensity jitter in degraded motion pictures. Experimental results are presented showing the usefulness of our motion estimator for film restoration at reasonable computational costs. 自适应相干噪声衰减技术

去除噪声是必需的地震数据处理过程。由于地表条件和地震波激发、传播以及接收条件等诸多方面的原因，时常引起地震记录上出现各种相干干扰波。本文主要针对地震数据处理中地震剖面上存在的各种相干噪声，提出了时问一空间域自适应相干噪声衰减技术，以进行信噪分离。这种方法把噪声在整个处理平面上的视速度近似看作常量(正值或负值)，可以有效地消除地震剖面上的线性噪声、面波以及多次波等，并且对信号的保真度高。本文方法是复杂地区低信噪比地震数据处理的一种理想的噪声去除方法，具有运算速度快、压制噪声效果好等优点。
