Abstract In this work the rocking vibrational response of individual micro-spherical toner particles under a noncontact tone-burst (gated-harmonic) excitation was studied. An unexpected ringing motion which persisted for long periods of time with minimal damping was observed and reported. It was observed that a weak bond, as a result of suspected pure intermolecular (van der Waals) interactions, led to detectable natural frequencies and persistent rocking motion (ringing) observed while the response of a particle with a stronger bond followed closely the substrate surface motion without a relative vibrating motion. For toner particles with a mean diameter of 8.9 μm, a beat phenomenon vibrational behavior was also observed and reported at the tone-burst central frequency of 500 kHz, which was very close to the most dominant observed natural frequency of the particle’s rocking motion of 501.5 kHz. Strong natural frequencies of the rocking motion were observed in three groups lying in the range of 450–525 kHz. The associated work of adhesion for these three observed natural frequency groups was calculated and found to lie in the range between 65 and 82 mJ/m2. The ringing mechanism observed and reported here could lead to the development of a very accurate adhesion characterization technique for individual micro-particles. The approach involves no particle detachment and thus allows the studying of the effects of environmental changes on the same bond without bond breakage. 相似文献

为实现基于超高频(UHF)法非接触式检测一定范围内电气设备局部放电(PD),需要研制合适的天线作为超高频(UHF)传感器。锥形天线具有宽频带、高增益和水平面(H面)全向性的特点,文章选取该型天线进行分析,研究其尺寸参数对天线性能的影响,得出该天线的设计规律。通过天线性能分析再结合PD检测的要求,最终选择锥高30cm、锥角45°的锥形天线作为非接触式PD检测的UHF传感器。经测试该天线频带为200MHz~2GHz以上,在200MHz~2GHz频带内平均增益达4.5dB以上,在对较远距离外模拟放电信号的接收试验中表现出良好的UHF信号接收能力,完全达到设计要求。基于该天线可以开发出固定式或车载式PD监测系统,该系统可以监测整个变电站设备PD情况并且其工作时不与设备发生接触。 相似文献

This paper examines a noncontact energy transfer system which can stabilize the load voltage with no‐feedback control. A detachable transformer used in the system has a leakage inductance. Therefore, load voltage decreases greatly in proportion to load current. A feedback control circuit of the noncontact energy transfer system is more complicated than that of the contact energy transfer system. Consequently, even if without feedback control, a noncontact energy transfer system which can maintain the approximate fixed load voltage is required. 针对目前异形管件内部形状尺寸非接触测量光源成本高、加工精度难以保证等问题,在深入研究柱透镜光学性能的基础上,设计并实现了由线激光器和柱透镜组成的近封闭激光线作为光源、用CMOS相机采集测量对象的内部截面图像的光电测量装置。运用五方向边界跟踪虫提取经过自适应阈值化处理的内部截面图像的边界。通过近似曲率梯度场确定圆弧与直线段的切点,根据切点对边界点分组,计算直线段长度,运用最小二乘法计算圆弧半径和圆心位置。实验结果表明,本系统的测量结果与千分尺直接测量的结果相比,绝对误差最小达到0.01 mm,相对误差最小达到0.01'。该装置在保证良好采集管件内部横截面图像、较高的测量精度的同时,避免了对测量对象的影响,在降低成本的同时,实现了真正意义上的非接触测量。 相似文献

Shape memory polymers can change their shapes in a controlled way under external stimuli and thus promote the development of smart devices, soft robotics, and microfluidics. Here, a kind of iron particles (IPs) doped shape memory microcone is developed for noncontact all-in-situ reversible tuning between the tilted and upright state under near-infrared (NIR) irradiation and magnetic field (MF) actuation. The magnetic microcones are simply fabricated by a laser-ablated replica-molding strategy so that their height can be precisely controlled by adjusting the laser machining parameters. In addition, it is found that the droplets can be transported unidirectionally on the tilted microcones, which is related to the variation of the adhesion force induced by the length of the triple contact line (TCL). Finally, other multifunctional applications have also been realized, such as, selective droplet release, information encryption, rewritable display, and reusable temperature switch. This work may provide a facile strategy for developing multiresponsive smart devices based on shape memory polymers. 相似文献
