Promoting the integration of technology in teaching: An analysis of the factors that increase the intention to use technologies among Italian teachers

Background: The rapid spread of COVID-19 forced many countries to adopt severe containment measures, transferring all didactic activities into virtual environments. However, the integration of technology in teaching may present difficulties, especially in some countries, such as Italy. Objectives: The present study analyzed how the two main factors of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, combined with online teaching self-efficacy, were associated with the intention to use technology to teach. We posited a moderated moderation model in which perceived usefulness represented the main predictor, with self-efficacy and perceived ease of use as moderators of intention to use technology to teach. Method: The model was tested through multiple regressions, using the PROCESS macro on SPSS 26 with a sample of 178 upper secondary school teachers in Italy. Results and conclusions: Regressions showed that each variable significantly predicted the intention to use technology. In addition, a moderation effect of self-efficacy on the perceived usefulness of using technology was found for medium and high-level of perceived ease of use of technology. Implications: The present study provides targeted implications for distance education policy and practice to promote its adoption (or the blended modality) in Italian upper schools.     

Land‐use dynamic discovery based on heterogeneous mobility sources

Nowadays, cities are the most relevant type of human settlement and their population has been endlessly growing for decades. At the same time, we are witnessing an explosion of digital data that capture many different aspects and details of city life. This allows detecting human mobility patterns in urban areas with more detail than ever before. In this context, based on the fusion of mobility data from different and heterogeneous sources, such as public transport, transport‐network connectivity and Online Social Networks, this study puts forward a novel approach to uncover the actual land use of a city. Unlike previous solutions, our work avoids a time‐invariant approach and it considers the temporal factor based on the assumption that urban areas are not used by citizens all the time in the same manner. We have tested our solution in two different cities showing high accuracy rates.

液压支架电液控制系统软件在线升级方案设计

针对现有液压支架间架控制器与端头控制器的软件升级需要技术人员在井下对控制器逐一拆装操作,且耗时长、效率低的问题,提出了一种液压支架电液控制系统软件在线升级方案,详细介绍了液压支架电液控制系统组成、代码存储空间变化及在线升级的相关程序流程,并给出了实验数据及分析。该方案实现了对间架控制器和端头控制器的远程在线升级,升级过程简单方便,且升级速度快。     

铁路信号电缆断线故障在线监测与定位方法研究

铁路信号电缆是保证列车安全运营的重要组成部分,其故障严重影响列车的安全运营;由于其经多个分线盒接线柱连接的敷设特点,存在中间接头过多,致使传统的电缆故障检测方法应用受到了极大的限制;为此,通过在电缆中间分线盒的备用芯线对接线柱中接入固定阻值的电阻,将备用芯线对形成闭合回路网络,然后在线监测其电阻阻值,利用回路阻值的变化来反映电缆状态,并以在线监测备用芯线对代替在用芯线对,进而在不影响正常列控信号传输的情况下实现了信号电缆的故障在线监测;经实际测试,有效地解决了铁路信号电缆断线故障的在线监测及定位。     

从“超级网银”看我国PKI交叉认证体系建设

"超级网银"是我国第一个大规模跨CA的交叉认证平台,采用的是桥接交叉认证模式。不同的领域,应根据其自身特点,采用不同形式的交叉认证模型。最终的目的,是要在全国范围内建立一个交叉认证、相互融合又相互独立、相互协调的PKI整体体系,在这个过程中,国家和政府应发挥更加积极的作用。     

Commenting in the Online Arab Public Sphere: Debating the Swiss Minaret Ban and the “Ground Zero Mosque” Online

This article focuses on the emerging online Arab public sphere that the web has enabled. It explores how the “local” interacts with the “global,” critically examining their implications on global politics. Specifically looking at online readers' comments about the Swiss minaret ban the so‐called “Ground Zero Mosque,” how does the Arab online public sphere respond to and frame these issues? What implications do these reader frames portend locally and globally? The study analyzes online comments and responses that readers of Al Arabiya.net and Al Jazeera.net posted on related news articles. The article concludes that the new online public sphere does make it possible for Arab citizens to circumvent and challenge traditional authoritarian controls.     

Model-guided evaluation of consumer products

An evaluation of a consumer product is presented as an example of how ergonomics models can guide data collection and interpretation by non-ergonomists. The product, a new cooking pan, was compared with its earlier counterpart on performance and safety tests for specific features. Model-guided evaluations produced data which could be well-fitted by linear relationships, and measures derived from the data could be interpreted in physical terms by engineers. This is now the standard methodology for pan evaluation in the client company.     

网上书店系统设计与实现

文章以茗文书店为样本,按照系统软件开发的方法对网上书店系统设计与实现进行了分析。系统基于LAMP的框架,采用免费的PHP+Apache开发,根据MVC设计模式,选用Oracle数据库,利用Linux服务器运行实现WEB程序。在研究过程中,通过对PHP技术的深入学习和研究,设计开发了以实体书店为基础,低成本投入的网上书店系统,探讨了"实体书店+网上书店"的新型商业模式,达到了茗文网上书店的建设目的,为其他实体书店建设具有自己特色的网上书店提供了参考和借鉴。     

基于大学生在线临场感水平调查的计算机公共课网络学习空间构建策略研究

解读在线临场感内涵,并从教学临场感、认知临场感、社会临场感三个维度对大学生在线临场感水平实施问卷调查。从描述性统计和群体差异性统计角度对调查结果加以分析。以计算机公共课《数据库技术及应用》为例,综合调查结果和学科特点对网络学习空间构建提供策略,从而为促进网络学习空间创新发展提供经验积累。
