浅谈川渝地区传统建筑的雕刻纹饰

雕塑与建筑同属造型艺术,他们都涉及到三维、空间、实体。在当今的建筑形体塑造中运用雕塑艺术的手法是设计中的一大趋势。这主要体现在三个方面：注重工业化、国际时尚的几何形体美;表现曲面形体构成的自由美;运用反形式美学理念追求的残缺美。我们从雕塑艺术的角度上来看建筑形体塑造,是试图从与建筑相邻近的艺术语言中寻求新的突破点,试图从纯净的建筑构成元素的表观上来看建筑的形体语言。     

建筑和雕塑的融合

通过对菲利普.约翰逊的代表作品——潘索尔大厦和水晶教堂的介绍,诠释了菲利普.约翰逊把建筑当成一件雕塑作品来看待的设计理念,他将雕塑语言运用到建筑中,将雕塑的象征性用在建筑的功能、空间等方面,使雕塑作品、雕塑式建筑成为一种公共艺术,这种设计理念值得我国建筑师参考借鉴。     

Developing and testing a new generation of protective coatings for outdoor bronze sculpture

Outdoor bronze sculpture is vulnerable to acid rain-induced corrosion and the present protection schemes utilized by conservators do not provide adequate protection under many circumstances. To replace the current most common clear bronze protection systems, wax or Incralac^® with a top coat of wax, work is underway to develop different options for conservators that include new longer-lasting, more durable systems having improved corrosion protection. The use of improved matrix binders based on fluorocarbon polymers, the use of nano-sized TiO₂ for UV absorption, and the extended use of UVAs and HALS are under examination in a search for improved UV resistance and longer lived corrosion protection in clear bronze coatings. Advanced spectroscopic and electrochemical methods are being used to characterize new coatings candidates with respect to UV resistance and corrosion resistance.     

浅谈城市雕塑与环境的关系

城市雕塑作为一个三维的审美对象,离不开环境要素的影响。对城市雕塑产生重要影响的环境因素主要有社会环境、历史文化环境、自然环境。一件好的城市雕塑作品只有处理好与上述环境的关系,才能成为一件好的作品。本文重点介绍了城市雕塑如何处理好与社会、历史人文、自然环境的关系。     

Using constraints to create novelty: A case study.

The development of Richard Serra’s sculpture is presented as a case study using a constraint-based model of novelty (Stokes, 2005, 2007). The model was developed from two problem-solving precedents: Reitman’s (1965) idea that paired constraints direct and limit search in a problem space; and Simon’s (1973), that search can only lead to novel solutions if the problem space is ill-structured. Ill-structured means that a problem space is incompletely specified or defined. The study shows how paired constraints restructure problem spaces in ways that make novelty possible and probable (Stokes, 2007). 以北京、杭州、青岛三座城市旅游景点中的雕塑为例 ,论述了雕塑与旅游的关系及其作用 ,认为它可以使城市更加光彩夺目 ;令人在心灵上产生共鸣 ,回味无穷 ;令人流连忘返 ,使旅游业得到更好的发展 ;更重要的是它能潜移默化的升华大众的审美素质及民族的心智 ;阐述了雕塑的文化氛围及其社会价值 ,分析了雕塑在旅游业中的经济价值及其不可取代的独特的功能     

城市文化对城市雕塑创作的影响

随着我国经济的飞速发展,城市雕塑也逐渐兴起,城市雕塑的发展成果有目共睹,但是也出现了一些鱼目混珠的现象。为了找到正确的方向来指导城市雕塑创作,应该深入认识城市文化对城市雕塑的影响。城市文化包括物质文化和非物质文化,在对城市雕塑创作的影响上,物质文化表现为城市环境、城市雕塑创作的材料和城市雕塑制作的技术;非物质文化表现为城市环境法规、城市居民的传统观念、城市居民的审美心理、城市的精神和城市居民文明素质等。这些因素一起共同作用于城市雕塑的创作,它们为城市雕塑的创作划定了一个范围,雕塑家要在此范围内找到最优解。
