基于弹性模型的三角网格曲面优化展开   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
根据材料力学中杆件的变形及弹性变形能分析,提出了曲面展开的弹性变形模型。根据边的变形情况,将曲面展开分为约束展开和无约束展开,并对每种展开方法进行分析。特别是约束展开时产生的变形能,根据曲面展开时的判断准则,对弹性变形能进行释放,得到优化的曲面展开。最后给出了曲面展开的算法步骤及实例。该方法中曲面展开的局部精度较易控制,因此较之以前的方法,更能有效地解决CAD/CAGD中曲面展开问题。  相似文献

The electrical discharge machining (EDM) process produces the recast layer with or without cracks on the surface that requires a remedial post-treatment in the manufacture of critical or highly stressed surfaces. One of the frequently used post-treatment processes is also the abrasive electrochemical grinding (AECG) and it has been widely used in the precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials due to an enhanced surface integrity and productivity. The aim of this study is to investigate improvability of surface integrity in terms of machining voltage, electrolyte flow rate and table feed rate parameters of AECG in EDMed Ti6Al4V alloy. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectrograph (EDS) and surface roughness measurement were performed to study the surface characteristics of the machined samples. Experimental results indicate that the AECG process effectively improves the surface roughness and eliminates the EDM damages completely by setting suitable grinding parameters.  相似文献

Semi‐regular triangle remeshing algorithms convert irregular surface meshes into semi‐regular ones. Especially in the field of computer graphics, semi‐regularity is an interesting property because it makes meshes highly suitable for multi‐resolution analysis. In this paper, we survey the numerous remeshing algorithms that have been developed over the past two decades. We propose different classifications to give new and comprehensible insights into both existing methods and issues. We describe how considerable obstacles have already been overcome, and discuss promising perspectives.  相似文献

Calculating and categorizing the similarity of curves is a fundamental problem which has generated much recent interest. However, to date there are no implementations of these algorithms for curves on surfaces with provable guarantees on the quality of the measure. In this paper, we present a similarity measure for any two cycles that are homologous, where we calculate the minimum area of any homology (or connected bounding chain) between the two cycles. The minimum area homology exists for broader classes of cycles than previous measures which are based on homotopy. It is also much easier to compute than previously defined measures, yielding an efficient implementation that is based on linear algebra tools. We demonstrate our algorithm on a range of inputs, showing examples which highlight the feasibility of this similarity measure.  相似文献

Curvature-based surface energies are frequently used in mathematics, physics, thin plate and shell engineering, and membrane chemistry and biology studies. Invariance under rotations and shifts makes curvature-based energies very attractive for modeling various phenomena. In computer-aided geometric design, the Willmore surfaces and the so-called minimum variation surfaces (MVS) are widely used for shape modeling purposes. The Willmore surfaces are invariant w.r.t conformal transformations (Mbius or conformal invariance), and studied thoroughly in differential geometry and related disciplines. In contrast, the minimum variation surfaces are not conformal invariant. In this paper, we suggest a simple modification of the minimum variation energy and demonstrate that the resulting modified MVS enjoy Mbius invariance (so we call them conformal-invariant MVS or, shortly, CI-MVS). We also study connections of CI-MVS with the cyclides of Dupin. In addition, we consider several other conformal-invariant curve and surface energies involving curvatures and curvature derivatives. In particular, we show how filtering with a conformal-invariant curve energy can be used for detecting salient subsets of the principal curvature extremum curves used by Hosaka and co-workers for shape quality inspection purposes.  相似文献

The resorption pit assay is classically used to evaluate osteoclast activity on bone or dentine slices that can be eroded by these cells. Two different types of cells were generated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells cultured in the presence of M-CSF + sRANKL or with M-CSF + LPS. At the end of the culture period (21 days), cells were discarded and the dentine slices stained with toluidine blue and examined with an NT9100 Wyco vertical scanning profilometer. The images of the dentine surface were corrected for tilt and the eroded volume was calculated on the whole images. The depth of the eroded pits was determined. The data files were used to reconstruct the surface of the slices by standardizing the ground level to compare both conditions. Osteoclasts generated with M-CSF + sRANKL were capable of resorbing a more important volume than those generated with M-CSF + LPS. In addition, the formers were able to resorb the dentine matrix more deeply. Data provided by the microscope were used to reconstruct three-dimensional images of the dentine slices with pseudo colours varying with the depth of erosion. Vertical scanning profilometry, a technique used to measure the roughness of polished or etched surfaces in metallurgic industry, can be used to accurately measure the eroded volume and the mean erosion depth done by osteoclasts in the resorption pit assay.  相似文献

This paper describes MTi, a biometric method for user identification on multitouch displays. The method is based on features obtained only from the coordinates of the 5 touchpoints of one of the user's hands. This makes MTi applicable to all multitouch displays large enough to accommodate a human hand and detect 5 or more touchpoints without requiring additional hardware and regardless of the display's underlying sensing technology. MTi only requests that the user places his hand on the display with the fingers comfortably stretched apart. A dataset of 34 users was created on which our method reported 94.69% identification accuracy. The method's scalability was tested on a subset of the Bosphorus hand database (100 users, 94.33% identification accuracy) and a usability study was performed.  相似文献
