Ozone Contactor Hydrodynamics

Tracer tests were conducted at the 6,000 pounds of ozone per day Tucson, CAP Water Treatment Plant in Tucson, Arizona. The tests were designed to determine T₁₀ values through the contactors at various operating conditions. The tests were modeled using three techniques. Peclet Number was calculated for each of the runs, which would indicate the hydrodynamic conditions inside the ozone contactor. The results indicated that the increase in water flow rate and the number of cells with gas flow increased Peclet Number. The flow rate of liquid seemed to impact the Peclet Number more than gas flow. The headloss in each cell appeared to be important in controlling the distribution of liquid and gas through the cell. A correlation was developed between the product of gas and liquid phase Reynolds Number and Peclet Number.

蒸发段长度与充液量对高温钠热管启动过程的影响

通过对 7根结构参数不同、充液量不同的高温钠热管进行实验研究 ,给出各种情况下高温钠热管启动过程中温度随时间变化曲线 ,分析了蒸发段长度的变化及充液量的变化对高温钠热管启动过程的影响。实验结果表明直径为 2mm ,长 1 0 0 0mm的钠热管 ,蒸发段长度为 5 80mm且充有 78～ 90 g左右的充液量 ,其启动运行工作为最佳     

Model algorithmic control of grade change operations in paper mills

In this work, the Model Algorithmic Control (MAC) method is applied to control the grade change operations in paper mills. The neural network model for the grade change operations is identified first and the impulse model is extracted from the neural network model. Results of simulations for MAC control of grade change operations are compared with plant operation data. The major contribution of the present work is the application of MAC in the industrial plants based on the identification of neural network models. We can confirm that the proposed MAC method exhibits faster responses and less oscillatory behavior compared to the plant operation data in the grade change operations.     

地市级气象基础数据库的升级改造与运行维护

随着气象现代化的不断推进,气象业务体系的不段完善和发展,各种新的气象服务手段的不断涌现,地市州一级气象基础数据的需求越来越大。以德阳为例仅直接调用SQL数据库的应用就多达20种,如何保障基础气象数据库的正常运行,是目前需要解决的一个问题。我局建立了多个基础气象数据库服务器,按照应用的资源占有率合理将应用分配大各个服务器上,以保证基础气象数据数据库正常运行。本文主要以德阳市气象局为例,介绍了我局为保证气象基础数据库正常运行采取的一些措施。
