Relation of anodic and cathodic performance to pH variations in membraneless microbial fuel cells

One-compartment (membraneless) microbial fuel cells (MFCs) are effective tools to test new bio-technology at a laboratory level. More efforts in MFC design and materials are necessary to move from laboratory tests to real applications.     

Block copolymers as polymeric stabilizers in non‐aqueous emulsion polymerization

This review summarizes the background and recent advances of block copolymer stabilized oil‐in‐oil emulsions. For non‐polymerizable emulsions which have promising application possibilities for biomedical and cosmetic formulations, it is shown that tailor‐made block copolymers are by far the most efficient stabilizers with respect to low molecular weight surfactants. The characteristic features of oil‐in‐oil emulsions comprising one polymerizable phase are described. These types of non‐aqueous emulsions are of interest as nanoreactor systems for the polymerization of moisture‐sensitive monomers or catalysts. Furthermore they are the starting point of novel heterophase polymerization processes for the preparation of sterically stabilized polymer particles, as well as of ‘liquid‐filled polymeric materials’. The concept of oil‐in‐oil emulsions is finally extended to those systems where the two phases are polymerizable by distinct polymerization mechanisms. This approach could offer attractive possibilities for the development of special coatings with neither water nor solvent evaporation in their drying or curing step. 加气混凝土砌块失水和吸水性能的试验研究

通过对加气混凝土砌块失水、吸水性能的试验研究，得出砌块从饱和含水率至平衡含水率时的砌块干缩、膨胀的特点。砌块失水、吸水非常缓慢，干缩膨胀值大，因此施工时要严格控制加气混凝土砌块的上墙含水率，建议将此值控制在15％以下，并给出了一种快速检测砌块含水率的方法。     

Nanocomposite polymer layers for molecular tribology

We discuss a novel strategy for the formation of elastomeric boundary lubrication coatings from block copolymers grafted to a reactive interface of a silicon substrate. We demonstrate molecularly thick thermoplastic elastomeric films with promising microtribological properties. These films are composed of an elastomeric rubber phase reinforced by the net of glassy nanodomains. These elastomeric layers are extremely wear resistant under shear stresses due to the unique combination of a chemically grafted elastic matrix capable of tremendous reversible deformation (500–1000%) stabilized by a chemically interconnected nanodomain net.     

一种改进的连续系统结构图法数字仿真算法

目前采用的连续系统结构图法数字仿真算法,因其本身有缺陷,只适用于某一类控制系统,在应用上有很大的局限性。本文提出的改进算法克服了这一不足,具有理论上的严密性、实用上的便利性以及对一般控制系统的普遍适用性。在对大量控制系统仿真的情况下,改进算法越发显示了原有算法所没有的优越性,为仿真程序软件包的形成提供了理论依据。
