Measuring Developmental Changes in Alcohol Expectancies.

The goal of this study was to measure shifts in alcohol expectancies from childhood into adolescence while controlling for changes in the psychometric properties of the instrument. One thousand nine hundred ninety-three 4th-grade and 1,632 9th-grade students from South Dakota rated the likelihood that 23 outcomes would result from alcohol use. These expectancies were modeled using a 2-factor confirmatory factor analysis. After differences in the psychometric properties of the instrument were controlled, the cohorts were distinguished by a large difference in Alcohol Positivity, with older participants viewing alcohol's effects more positively. Additionally, older participants displayed greater Alcohol Potency, believing that alcohol has a larger impact on all outcomes. Toward a psychophysiology of performance: Sport psychology principles dealing with anxiety.

In this applied case study during an off-season period, a unique and innovative internal imagery/video/electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback protocol was used to train visual attention and increase self-confidence of a collegiate baseball player struggling to recover from a serious eye injury. Results from the ensuing competitive season revealed that self-confidence increased and hitting and fielding performance improved dramatically. In the subsequent competitive season, without psychological skill training, hitting and fielding performance declined to preintervention levels. Although EEG biofeedback has been slow to gain acceptance among applied practitioners, used in conjunction with video and internal imagery, it appears to have potential as a tool for training visual attention in athletes within a variety of externally paced sports, such as baseball, softball, and racquet sports. Interdisciplinary collaboration in outpatient practice.

Psychology has had a long history of collaboration with the medical profession. This collaboration has been greatly enhanced over the past decade or more as an increasing number of psychologists have become successful in applying the science and practice of psychology to the problems of health and illness. This article reviews and summarizes salient aspects of professional issues in practice that contribute to successful collaboration with physicians in primary and tertiary ambulatory health care settings. Prescribing and primary care psychology: Complementary paths for professional psychology.

Two paths have been suggested for the future evolution of professional psychology. Prescribing psychology has already been legally authorized in two states, the military, and the Indian Health Service. Primary care psychology does not require legal recognition and has been slowly growing as a career option for psychologists across the nation. Both paths have their obstacles and limitations, but both are also associated with great potential. This article provides a brief summary of the strengths and weaknesses of each path and suggests an integrated perspective for planning the future of the profession. 新农保试行过程中的问题与对策研究——以安徽省泾县为例

新型农村社会养老保险制度的实施是国家建立健全统筹城乡社会保障体系的一项重大“民生工程”,对改变城乡二元结构、缩小城乡差距起着重要作用,能够有效地保障农村居民老年基本生活。通过对安徽省宣城市泾县实地调查的情况分析,发现存在农民的参保率未达到预期、参保档次普遍偏低、政策宣传不到位等问题,提出提高参保率以及参保档次、简化农保办理手续、整合政府农保制度、完善农保代办机构基础建设、倡导家庭养老等方面的对策建议。     

心理学视域下幽闭恐惧症的防御策略和治疗方法

幽闭恐惧症属于恐惧症的一种表现形式,如果不及时进行心理疏导或矫正,病症会进一步加重,将严重影响其正常的生活和工作。面对幽闭恐惧症患者承受的痛苦,除了从病理性角度进行治疗外,还需要从心理角度和人文关怀等各方面给予更多的关注,研究其患病的原因和机制,并提出防御和治疗幽闭恐惧症的策略和方法,尽早让幽闭恐惧症患者远离痛苦。

基于网络心理挖掘的个性化推荐系统

传统的电子商务推荐系统挖掘时效性较差,客户信息浪费较多;为应对这些问题,提出了基于网络心理挖掘的商品推荐系统.该系统通过网站内的商品属性心理特征挖掘和客户心理行为进行挖掘,并结合客户浏览行为对客户的需求和决策进行量化与预测;最终以上述信息为依据,从系统的数据库中提取推荐商品与客户信息.实验表明,该系统能够较好地挖掘客户消费心理,提高商品推荐的精准性和有效性.
