正压冲固基础海洋平台冰激振动动力响应

正压冲固基础海洋平台是一种新型平台桩基结构形式。采用三维有限元的数值分析方法,建立了正压冲固平台的三维有限元模型。基于冰激强迫振动理论提出动冰载荷的计算方法,根据海冰破碎长度和冰速确定冰载周期,冰强度限制的水平冰力作为冰力峰值,得到的动冰载荷用于正压冲固平台的动力响应分析,并依照规范计算了6倍桩径处刚性固定时的动力响应。三维有限元方法计算得到的动力响应大于6倍桩径刚性固定时的计算结果,结构安全性评估偏于安全。     

大块式动力基础的振动分析与加固处理

根据一大块式曲柄连杆机构的机器钢筋混凝土基础的振动测试与振动分析 ,诊断了基础发生工程事故的原因 ,并结合工程特点 ,在不改变基础设计的动力参数的情况下 ,确定了灌浆加固处理方法 ,并介绍了灌浆加固处理的效果。     

结构-波浪-海床耦合系统中大圆筒结构的波压力响应

以沉入式大圆筒结构为对象，通过设计随机波浪水槽实验，测取了在单筒和连续筒两种结构型式、两种沉入深度和两种波谱输入下结构表面的动波压力分布。波面高度以及波压力历程均在领域进行分析。通过计算结构表面沿高程和沿环向的波压力谱及波压力传递函数，将单筒实测结果与基于线性绕射理论的解析解进行了比较，同时也详细对比了两种结构型式下的实测结果。文中汇报了在研究中获得的新发现及进行的相应分析，特别是在结构——波浪——海床动力相互作用下对波压力响应机理以及针对连续筒的研究，可为工程应用提供有价值的参考。     

A Tale of Two Cities: Financing Two Voucher Programs for Substance Abusers Through Community Donations.

Voucher-based reinforcement therapy (VBRT) is an effective drug abuse treatment, but the cost of VBRT rewards has limited its dissemination. Obtaining VBRT incentives through donations may be one way to overcome this barrier. Two direct mail campaigns solicited donations for use in VBRT for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting drug users in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and in Los Angeles, California. In Toronto, 19% of those contacted over 2 months donated $8,000 ($4,000/month) of goods and services. In Los Angeles, nearly 26% of those contacted over 34 months donated $161,000 ($4,472/month) of goods and services. Maintaining voucher programs by soliciting donations is feasible and sustainable. The methods in this article can serve as a guide for successful donation solicitation campaigns. Donations offer an alternative for obtaining VBRT rewards for substance abuse treatment and may increase its dissemination. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)     

Dynamic stiffness vibration analysis using a high‐order beam model

This work presents the derivation of the exact dynamic stiffness matrix for a high‐order beam element. The terms are found directly from the solutions of the differential equations that describe the deformations of the cross‐section according to the high‐order theory, which include cubic variation of the axial displacements over the cross‐section of the beam. The model has six degrees of freedom at the two ends, one transverse displacement and two rotations, and the end forces are a shear force and two end moments. Using the dynamic stiffness matrix exact vibration frequencies for beams with various combinations of boundary conditions are tabulated and compared with results from the Bernoulli–Euler and Timoshenko beam models. Lipase‐catalyzed dynamic kinetic resolution of (R,S)‐fenoprofen thioester in isooctane

A lipase‐catalyzed enantioselective hydrolysis process under in situ racemization of the remaining (R)‐thioetser substrate with trioctylamine as the catalyst was developed for the production of (S)‐fenoprofen from (R,S)‐fenoprofen 2,2,2‐trifluoroethyl thioester in isooctane. Detailed investigations of trioctylamine concentration on the enzyme activation and the kinetic behavior of the thioester in racemization and enzymatic reactions were conducted, in which good agreement between the experimental data and theoretical results was observed. © 2002 Society of Chemical Industry     

Attachment to the therapist.

This study examines the ways in which therapists function as attachment figures for patients. Patients in long-term psychoanalytic therapy answered questionnaires about their feelings about their therapists and their closest personal relationships. Components of attachment prominent in the therapeutic relationships were looking up to the therapist and feeling the therapist was responsive to emotional needs. Stronger attachment to therapists was associated with greater frequency and duration of therapy, a stronger working alliance, and greater security of the patients' attachment style, as well as with the gender of the patient and therapist. Using attachment theory to understand psychoanalytic relationships emphasizes the unique importance of a therapist to a patient and can offer new perspectives on both therapeutic and attachment processes.
