为回收利用SiO2微粉,探究了以SiO2微粉为原料通过碳热还原法制备碳化硅粉体的最佳工艺条件;研究了分别以石油焦、活性炭和石墨粉为还原剂对冶炼效果的影响。在最佳碳质还原剂的基础上,研究了不同配碳比(还原剂与SiO2微粉的质量比为1∶3.5、1∶3、1∶2.5、1∶2、1∶1.5)和不同冶炼时间(15、30、45、60 min)对冶炼效果的影响。结果表明:石油焦、活性炭、石墨粉3种碳质还原剂中,石油焦的冶炼效果最佳;将石油焦与原料SiO2微粉以质量比1∶2进行混合,在中频感应炉中以1650℃冶炼45 min为最佳冶炼工艺条件;以此能够得到晶粒生长较好、品质较高的碳化硅粉体,碳化硅含量高达93.50%(w)。 相似文献

Spent desulphurization catalysts are considered a major secondary source of valuable metals. The contents of nickel and vanadium present in these catalysts, accompanied by environmental rules, have attracted scientists to explore diverse options for their effective processing. The electrometallurgy recovery of Ni and V from the spent desulphurization Ni-Mo-V/Al2O3 catalyst is described in this study. Using flat plate graphite electrodes, the electrochemical deposition of Ni and V from spent catalyst in an acid solution (HNO3/H2SO4) was investigated. By the central composite design of the response surface methodology, the effect of the operating factors was examined and optimized. At the ideal conditions of reaction temperatures of 84.0 and 42.0°C, electrolysis times of 5.6 and 4.4 h, liquid/solid ratios of 22.7 and 15.4 ml/g, and current densities of 229.0 and 255.6 A/m2, respectively, the recovery efficiencies of Ni and V were 81.96% and 93.07%. The statistical analysis revealed that the expected data (R2 = 0.9984 and R2 = 0.9883) were in good agreement with the observed data (R2 = 0.9984), with an average variation from experimental data of 0.78% and 0.65% for the optimum conditions of Ni and V recovery, respectively. It shows that the Ni and V nanoparticles deposited have a spherical form with purities of 84.39% and 90.76%, respectively. Results of calorimeter tests on Portland cement-silica fume-fly ash mixtures are presented. Data indicate that silica fume accelerates cement hydration at high water/cementitious ratios and retards hydration at low water/cementitious ratios. On the other hand, fly ash retards cement hydration more significantly at high water/cementitious ratios. When silica fume and fly ash are added together with cement, the reactivity of the silica fume is hampered and the hydration of the cementitious system is significantly retarded. 相似文献

In this paper, an experimental and analytical exploration on the effect of water-binder ratio (w/b), silica fume and age on autogenous, carbonation, drying and total shrinkage of high-performance concrete (HPC) is outlined. Eight types of HPC were studied. Carbonation, internal relative humidity (RH) and strength were studied on specimens from the same batch of HPC that was used in the studies of shrinkage. The results indicate fairly good correlation between carbonation, shrinkage, w/b and RH. The type and amount of silica fume affected shrinkage. 相似文献

Thermal conductivity coefficients of concretes made up of mixtures of expanded perlite and pumice aggregates (PA) were measured. To determine the effect of silica fume (SF) and class C fly ash (FA) on the thermal conductivity of lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC), SF and FA were added as replacement for cement by decreasing the cement weights in the ratios of 10%, 20% and 30% by weight.The highest thermal conductivity of 0.3178 W/mK was observed with the samples containing only PA and plain cement. It decreased with the increase of SF and FA as replacement for cement. The lowest value of thermal conductivity, which is 0.1472 W/mK, was obtained with the samples prepared with expanded perlite aggregate (EPA) replacement of PA and 70% cement+30% FA replacement of cement. Both SF and FA had a decreasing effect on thermal conductivity. EPA (used in place of PA) also induced a decrease of 43.5% in thermal conductivity of concrete. 相似文献

The use of silica fume (SF) has been instrumental in the development and utilization of high-strength and high-performance concrete. In the interests of economics, questions have been raised regarding the possible use and effectiveness of “lower grade” SFs with SiO2 contents less than 85%. Such materials do not meet current CSA and ASTM standards for SF. In this study, the performance of two SFs from the same U.S. plant but with different silica contents (68% and 88% SiO2) were compared by examining the effect of the materials on the expansion due to alkali-silica reaction (ASR) and the composition of the pore solution. The mixtures tested with these procedures included 0%, 4%, 8%, and 12% SF replacement by mass of cement. Results show that the SF with lower than standard silica contents cannot control ASR at the levels of replacement examined in this program. 相似文献
