High wind penetration wind diesel hybrid systems (WDHS) have three modes of operation: diesel only (DO), wind diesel (WD) and wind only (WO). The control requirements for frequency control in WO mode are analysed and a distributed control system (DCS) is proposed for this frequency control, describing the actuation of its sensor and actuator nodes. A power system for WO mode consisting of a wind turbine generator (WTG), a synchronous machine (SM), the consumer load, a battery based energy storage system (ESS) and a discrete dump load (DL) along with the associated DCS have been simulated. By means of a 400 Hz reference power message that establishes the active power necessary for frequency regulation and a prescribed active power sharing between the ESS and DL actuators, graphs for frequency, voltage and active powers for consumer load and wind speed changes are presented. The results of the simulation show maximum settling times and frequency per unit variation of 1.5 s and 0.16% respectively, for the previous input changes. The DCS solution presented could constitute a proposal for the standardization of the control for WO mode in high wind penetration WDHS which rely on a SM to generate the voltage waveform in that mode.  相似文献

Thermal energy can be stored in supercooled liquids where the material is in thermal equilibrium with its surroundings. The stored latent heat of fusion is released by triggering the crystallization of the supercooled substance. In this study, enthalpy–temperature curves including the effect of supercooling are measured for some well known supercooling salt hydrates (disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium acetate trihydrate and STL-47). A series of properties relevant for supercooling energy storage applications are identified, including the optimal working temperature range for the materials, temperature increase during crystallization as a function of degree of supercooling, available enthalpy at different temperatures, and fraction of enthalpy lost in the initial supercooling phase. The enthalpy–temperature curves are measured by a simple and inexpensive method.  相似文献

Storage of heat is seen as a major issue for the development of solar energy for house heating and cooling under all climates. Most of the storage systems available on the market use water as the storage medium. The idea studied here was to add a phase change material (PCM) module at the top of a hot-water storage tank with stratification. An experimental solar pilot plant was constructed to test the PCM behaviour in real conditions. The PCM module geometry adopted was to use several cylinders. A granular PCM–graphite compound was chosen as the PCM for the experiments presented here.  相似文献

This paper presents a numerical work aiming at the prediction of the characteristics of an industrial tank filled with hydrides for hydrogen storage. A validation of the method is given and is followed by the resolution of an example which shows the importance of achieving a three-dimensional modelling for the design of an industrial tank. 500kv覆冰绝缘子串的工频和操作冲击电压特性试验   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
为了给重冰地区的500kV输电线路的绝缘设计提供依据,在武汉水利电力学院高压实验室建立了大型人工覆冰装置,对500kV线路绝缘子进行了一系列人工覆冰和放电试验。结果表明,覆冰绝缘子串的电气强度与覆冰受污染的程度有极大关系。当覆冰融化水的电导率(γ)较大时,27片XP—21或28片XP—16的500kV绝缘子串无论工频还是操作冲击闪络电压都有很大的降低,在额定耐受试验电压下已有可能发生闪络,但当覆冰是清洁的,其γ<75μS/cm时,则仍有足够的抗电强度。试验还确定了覆冰类型、电压极性、串长等因素对放电电压的影响。得出了长串的工频耐受电压梯度低于短串的结论。这就解释了为什么冰闪事故大多发生在超高压线路而在较低电压线路中很少发生的现象。文中还对覆冰绝缘子长串的放电规律和闪络机理进行了分析,提出了新的观点。  相似文献

The methods for designing, planning and managing integrated energy systems, while holistically considering the major economic and environmental factors, are still embryonic. However, the first phase of the design is often crucial if we want to manage resources better and reduce energy consumption and pollution. Considering integrated energy systems implies dealing with complex systems in which the synergy between the various components is best exploited (for example the thermal energy of a diesel engine produced during the night is complimented by the Rankine organic cycle of a solar thermal plant). The context of isolated communities further increases the difficulties when considering the long distance of transport required to supply fossil fuels. These sites are often located in very precarious environments, with limited or nonexistent resources except for solar energy, and with frequent additional needs for desalination (in arid zones).This paper illustrates a holistic method to rationalize the design of energy integrated systems. It is based on a superstructure (collection of models of all envisaged technologies) and a multi-objective optimisation (resources, demand, energy, emission, costs) using an evolutionary algorithm. The approach proposed allows the identification of more complete and more coherent integrated configurations characterizing the most promising designs (also taking into account the time dependency aspects). It also allows to better structure the information in view of a participative decision approach. The study shows that the economic implementation of renewable energy (solar) is even more difficult, compared to diesel based solutions, in cases of isolated communities with high load variations. New infrastructure or retrofit cases are considered.  相似文献

To simulate the ice accretion on an airfoil, a boundary moving technique is proposed to deal with the distortion of the airfoil surface due to ice accretion on the leading edge. Incorporating the two‐phase model of air‐supercooled droplets in the Eulerian coordinate system, this technique is applied to simulate the process of the rime ice accretion (the droplets freeze at the instant impinging on the airfoil) on the NACA 0012 airfoil, and the ice profile after ice accretion is achieved successfully. A brief comparison between the results of this paper and the experiment data indicates that the current method is applicable and effective. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
