There are many studies on sales forecasting in e-commerce, most of which focus on how to forecast sales volume with related e-commerce operation data. In this paper, a deep learning method named FS-LSTM was proposed, which combines long short-term memory (LSTM) and feature selection mechanism to forecast the sales volume. The indicators with most contributions by the extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) model are selected as the input features of LSTM model. FS-LSTM method can get less mean average error (MAE) and mean squared error (MSE) in the forecasting of e-commerce sales volume, comparing with the LSTM model without feature selection. The results show that the FS-LSTM can improve the performance of original LSTM for forecasting the sales volume. 相似文献

Facing with thousands of online product reviews, consumers usually pay close attention to those valuable ones which provide more specific and credible evaluations on products. Whether a close association exists between product review quality and sales is thus examined in this paper. By employing text mining techniques on multiple review features, a review is measured as one of the following two levels: high-quality or low-quality. In doing so, aggregate quality level of product’s whole reviews is also identified. Then, a two-level econometrical analysis is conducted on the real datasets from Amazon.cn. The results reveal that aggregate quality level of positive reviews and negative reviews interactively influence sales. In the situation the aggregate quality level of positive reviews is high meanwhile that of negative reviews’ is low, product sale is the highest, while in the opposite situation product sale is the lowest. The results also reveal that consumers understand product’s value from weighting positive and negative reviews of high-quality level, which then positively relates to product sales and exerts a dynamic effect on sales by the moderating role of product selling stage and popularity. The paper innovatively integrates the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of reviews to estimate their economic effect. 相似文献

Forecasting is one of the crucial factors in applications because it ensures the effective allocation of capacity and proper amount of inventory. Because Box–Jenkins models using linear forecasting have their constraint to predict complexity in the real world, other nonlinear approaches are developed to conquer the challenge of nonlinear forecasting. With the same goal, we are proposing a hybrid of genetic algorithm and artificial immune system (HGAI) algorithm with radial basis function neural network learning for function approximation and further applying it to conduct an industrial personal computer sales forecasting exercise. In addition, five well‐known benchmark problems were used to evaluate the results in the experiment, and the newly proposed HGAI algorithm has returned better results than the Box–Jenkins models and other algorithms. 相似文献

We investigate the effect of conditions that create technostress, on technology‐enabled innovation, technology‐enabled performance and overall performance. We further look at the role of technology self‐efficacy, organizational mechanisms that inhibit technostress and technology competence as possible mitigations to the effects of technostress creators. Our findings show a negative association between technostress creators and performance. We find that, while traditional effort‐based mechanisms such as building technology competence reduce the impact of technostress creators on technology‐enabled innovation and performance, more empowering mechanisms such as developing technology self‐efficacy and information systems (IS) literacy enhancement and involvement in IS initiatives are required to counter the decrease in overall performance because of technostress creators. Noting that the professional sales context offers increasingly high expectations for technology‐enabled performance in an inherently interpersonal‐oriented and relationship‐oriented environment with regard to overall performance, and high failure rates for IS acceptance/use, the study uses survey data collected from 237 institutional sales professionals. 相似文献

针对商家在进入大型电商平台面临的销售方式选择和物流服务策略问题,提出三种运营模式:a)转售模式,标记为A;b)代理+无平台物流模式,标记为B;c)代理+平台物流模式,标记为C。以一个电商平台和一个商家组成的分析框架为研究对象,构建两者之间的博弈模型。通过比较三种模式下的均衡结果,并结合企业的不同权力结构,发现当平台拥有绝对权力时,C模式对平台最优。当物流服务敏感系数和市场规模都较大时,B模式对拥有绝对权力的商家最优。此外,如果两者都没有绝对权力,只有当商家首先决定物流服务策略,然后平台决定销售方式时,B模式对双方最优;否则,A模式最优。本研究可为平台和商家运营模式的选择提供理论支持和决策指导。 相似文献
