中国的测井装备研究取得了较大进展，将在近期推出成像测井系统和高可行测井系统。中国专有的聚焦型激发极化电位测民在积极研制之中。提出了对几项准备研制工作的方法，并对21世纪初中国测井装备的发展思路提出了建议，提出应将测井装备研制列为当前测井研究的中心任务，应加强测井装备研制的系统性和开放性。

Steps towards a consumer-driven ‘concept innovation machine’ for food and drink

Innovation is often left to insight and serendipity. A lot of what researchers call innovation is actually a process by which one can make the individual consumer or practitioner more ‘creative’. Although it is important to work with the creative individual in hopes of coming up with the better ‘idea’ and new product/service opportunity, an equally valid albeit novel and counterintuitive approach systematizes creativity in a ‘research-driven machine’. This paper presents an approach to the systematization, based upon the point of view that creativity and innovation comprise the recombination of components into new blends. Given this point of view, to then spur innovation requires a systematic database that the user can access, with tools to help manipulate that database. The paper shows how such a database can be constructed and then used to create a novel product. The approach provides a general framework for the sensory professional to become more involved in the early stages of product development, where the focus is on the conceptual aspects of food features rather than on their physical manifestations in actual products.     

Analysis and visualisation with host-based software – The features of STNAnaVist™

This article is based on experiences with data and text mining to gain information for strategic business decisions, using host-based analysis and visualisation (A/V), primarily in the field of patents. The potential advantages of host-based A/V are pointed out and the features of the first such A/V software, STN^®AnaVist™, are described in detail. Areas covered include the user interfaces, initial set of documents for A/V, data mining, text mining, reporting, and suggestions for further development.     

Conditions for the Acceptance of Deontic Conditionals.

Recent psychological research has investigated how people assess the probability of an indicative conditional. Most people give the conditional probability of q given p as the probability of if p then q. Asking about the probability of an indicative conditional, one is in effect asking about its acceptability. But on what basis are deontic conditionals judged to be acceptable or unacceptable? Using a decision theoretic analysis, we argue that a deontic conditional, of the form if p then must q or if p then may q, will be judged acceptable to the extent that the p & q possibility is preferred to the p & not-q possibility. Two experiments are reported in which this prediction was upheld. There was also evidence that the pragmatic suitability of permission rules is partly determined by evaluations of the not-p & q possibility. 乙苯/苯乙烯塔分离效率问题的技术分析及整改措施

分析了齐鲁分公司200kt/a乙苯/苯乙烯装置乙苯/苯乙烯塔(T-401)分离效率低的原因,即降液管设计偏小,液体在降液管内流速过快,引起液体飞溅;安装分布器使用的石棉垫片溶胀而粉碎后堵塞了分布槽;分布器上使用的垫片脱落形成缝隙而漏液;填料装得不密实,留有缝隙;二级分布槽变形等.针对存在问题提出了相应的整改措施,并考察了整改措施实施效果.结果表明,整改后该塔的分离能力满足了工艺要求,并有一定的操作弹性.     

关于砂金工艺矿物学研究规范化的建议

本文从样品的采集、加工、制备到砂金性状、矿砂物质组成;从分离、鉴定质量要求到选矿产品考察;从矿砂可洗性、可选性评价到矿砂工艺类型确定等项内容的系统化、标准化,阐述了砂金工艺矿物学的研究规范。     

Psychological research, practice, and social policy: Potential pathways of influence.

Greater use of psychological research and practice knowledge in the formulation of social policy is necessary to enhance the well-being of U.S. citizens and communities. Although historically there are instances in which psychological and social science research and practice have had a substantial influence on federal policy, for the most part the relationships among research, practice, and policy have been tenuous. Three cases in which research has substantively influenced policy over the past 80 years are reviewed: Keynesian economics, Head Start legislation, and the activities of conservative think tanks. Several recommendations are made for ways in which psychologists can enhance their influence in the policy arena, including communicating directly with policymakers regarding relevant policy findings and knowledge gleaned from practice; conducting interdisciplinary, multilevel research as well as evaluation research (including qualitative data drawn from practice settings); and networking among researchers, practitioners, policy advocates, and social action groups. MTBE生产工艺的技术改进

通过对传统MTBE装置工艺流程进行分析 ,找出了各个操作单元存在的问题 ,并结合实际操作数据 ,逐一提出了具体的解决方案 ,进一步优化了传统醚化装置工艺流程。达到了生产装置规模不变 ,而投资大大减少的目的。给今后新上同类装置的工艺流程设计 ,提供了较好的技术借鉴。
