Low cycle fatigue behavior of a eutectic 80Au/20Sn solder alloy

The eutectic 80Au/20Sn solder alloy is widely used in high power electronics and optoelectronics packaging. In this study, low cycle fatigue behavior of a eutectic 80Au/20Sn solder alloy is reported. The 80Au/20Sn solder shows a quasi-static fracture characteristic at high strain rates, and then gradually transforms from a transgranular fracture (dominated by fatigue damage) to intergranular fracture (dominated by creep damage) at low strain rates with increasing temperature. Coffin-Manson and Morrow models are proposed to evaluate the low cycle fatigue behavior of the 80Au/20Sn solder. Besides, the 80Au/20Sn solder has enhanced fatigue resistance compared to the 63Sn/37Pb solder.     

Evaluation of fumonisin exposure by determination of fumonisin B1 in human hair and in Brazilian corn products

The aim of this study was to evaluate the dietary exposure to fumonisin B₁ (FB₁) through determination of residual FB₁ in hair and corn products consumed by 56 volunteers from Pirassununga and Erval Velho, Brazil. Data from FB₁ analyses in corn products and a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) were used for estimating the mean probable daily intake (PDI_M) for FB₁. FB₁ was detected in 4 human hair samples (7.2%), at a mean level of 21.3 ± 12.1 ng g⁻¹. The mean FB₁ level found in corn products was 360.4 ± 555.1 μg kg⁻¹. The PDI_M value of FB₁ in volunteers was 159 ± 47 ng kg⁻¹ body weight day⁻¹ which represents 7.9% of the provisional maximum tolerable daily intake (PMTDI) recommended for fumonisins. The FB₁ levels found in human hair samples from each volunteer were associated with their individual PDI of FB₁, indicating that exposure to FB₁ in the sample studied do not represent a health concern. This is the first report on the incidence of FB₁ in individual human hair in Brazil.     

Voltage reference architectures for low-supply-voltage low-power applications

This paper presents a voltage reference generator architecture and two different realizations of it that have been fabricated within a standard 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The architecture takes the advantage of utilizing a sampled-data amplifier (SDA) to optimize the power consumption. The circuits achieve output voltages on the order of 190 mV with temperature coefficients of 43 ppm/°C and 52.5 ppm/°C over the temperature range of 0 to 120°C without any trimming with a 0.8 V single supply. The power consumptions of the circuits are less then 500 nW while occupying an area of 0.2 mm² and 0.08 mm², respectively.     

低温脂肪酶产生菌的筛选、鉴定及其部分酶学性质

从南极乔治王岛冻土来源的76株低温细菌中筛选到13株低温脂肪酶产生菌，对其中的BTsl0022菌株进行鉴定。通过生理生化特征、16s rDNA基因序列的同源性和系统发育分析发现，菌株RTsl0022属于假单胞菌属(Pseudomonas)，但与已定名的假单胞菌有一定的差异，与未定名的Pseudomonas sp．PsB的亲缘关系最接近，故将其暂定名为Pseudomonas sp．BTsl0022。对该菌脂肪酶的酶学性质初步研究表明，酶的最适作用温度为24℃，对热敏感，60℃处理30min仅残留25％酶活性，酶的适宜作用pH范围在7．0～9．0，最适pH为8．0。     

小剂量辐射对肿瘤细胞K_（562）及肿瘤病人天然杀伤细胞（NK）活性的影响

已知小剂量辐射可增强机体免疫功能。从对高本底地区的调查发现，该地区居民肿瘤死亡率及某些肿瘤发病率有所降低（１）。ＮＫ细胞能直接杀伤肿瘤细胞，在肿瘤免疫中起着重要的作用。本文观察小剂量辐射对肿瘤病人和正常人外周血淋巴细胞ＮＫ活性的相对效应以及对人红白血病细胞（Ｋ（５６２）细胞）的影响，以期从体外买验来探索较小剂量辐射对肿瘤治疗的影响     

高速往复式内燃机平衡轴低质量设计分析

分析了扇形和偏心圆两种平衡轴设计的要求以及平衡重低质量的设计原则。扇形平衡重半径及宽度应尽量大、夹角应尽量小。偏心圆平衡重的偏心圆半径应尽可能大 ,轴承半径应尽可能小。同样质量的扇形平衡重产生的平衡力比偏心圆平衡重要大。     

白钨矿浮选731捕收剂低温乳化试验研究

介绍了731捕收剂在低温条件下试验的情况。试验研究结果表明，采用A和B药剂以5：6的比例混合组成的复合乳化剂对731进行乳化，低温时乳化体系稳定性好，浮选过程中降低乳化731的用量，同时提高了选择性，降低了浮选成本，实现了低温环境下白钨矿正常浮选作业，达到选矿技术攻关指标。

峡口水库沥青混凝土面板的施工与试验

以灌溉、防洪为主的峡口水库大坝，为沥青混凝土面板堆石坝，为研究低温抗裂性能，对沥青混凝土面板破损取样，进行了配比和多种力学性能试验，并与原面板设计指标进行了对比。由于面板经受住了－20℃以下的低温考验，其所用沥青指标、破损取样试验结果，特别是冻断低温指标，对确定水工沥青混凝土低温抗裂检验标准有重要参考价值。     

A novel compact circuit for 4-PAM energy-efficient high speed interconnect data transmission and reception

Transmission of signals, whether on-chip or off-chip, places severe constraints on timing and extracts a large price in energy. New silicon device technologies, such as back-plane CMOS, provide a programmable and adaptable threshold voltage as an additional tool that can be used for low power design. We show that one particularly desirable use of this freedom is energy-efficient high-speed transmission across long interconnects using multi-valued encoding. Our multi-valued CMOS circuits take advantage of the threshold voltage control of the transistors, by using the signal-voltage-to-threshold-voltage span, in order to make area-efficient implementations of 4-PAM (pulse amplitude modulation) transceivers operating at high speed. In a comparison of a variety of published technologies, for signal transmission with interconnects of 10-15 mm length, we show up to 50% improvement in energy for on-chip signal transmission over binary encoding together with higher limits for operating speeds without a penalty in circuit noise margin.
