Composition and morphology of char particles of fly ashes from industrial burning of high-ash coals with different reactivity 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A comparative investigation of the composition and the morphology of char particles was conducted: char particles were recovered from fly ashes of two power stations in Russia from burning of high- and low-reactivity high-ash coals; the known results of studies of char particles generated in laboratory conditions from coals characterized according to the ASTM D388-98a standard were also used. The composition of organic and mineral components of different fraction char particles was studied. An inverse correlation between the content of the organic substance and the iron content in char particles was identified. The morphology of the char particles for the three main types (Cenospheric, Network and Solid) and the influence of coal reactivity and temperature on char morphology were investigated. The morphology of the mineral component of char particles of the two varieties of coals was also studied. It was shown that the high-temperature of industrial burning of Ekibastuz coal results in melting of the mineral substance and forming of micron-scale microspheres located in the lamellar porous structure of the carbon matrix. 相似文献

Poly[2,6-(1,4-phenylene)-benzobisimidazole] (PPBI) crystals were prepared by using reaction-induced crystallization of oligomers during solution polymerization of 1,2,4,5-tetraaminobenzene and diphenyl terephthalate. Polymerizations were carried out at a monomer concentration of 4.3 × 10−2 mol L−1 at 350 °C for 6 h. Brush-like PPBI crystals were obtained in a mixture of structural isomers of dibenzyltoluene, in which many needle-like crystals came out vertically from the surface of the ribbon-like crystals. Average width and thickness of the ribbon-like crystals were 0.75 μm and 0.11 μm, respectively. And average length and diameter of the needle-like crystals were 0.36 μm and 50 nm, respectively. The brush-like crystals possessed high crystallinity and exhibited good thermal resistance. The ribbon-like crystals were formed by the crystallization of imidazole oligomers at an initial stage of polymerization, and then the needle-like crystals grew from the surface of the ribbon-like crystals. Polymerization occurred on the crystals when the oligomers were crystallized, leading to the high molecular weight PPBI crystals. 相似文献

Floodwater is often extracted for consumptive purposes from western mountain streams in the United States. The long-term extraction of floodwater may alter the morphological and ecological balance of such streams. Scale model experiments based on eight mountain gravel-bed streams in Idaho were conducted to test the effects of floodwater extraction on stream morphology. The model channel transported a poorly sorted mix of model “gravel,” as well as copious amounts of model “sand.” The channel had a discontinuous floodplain, developed its own bar morphology, and contained large model colluvium as well as a bedrock platform. A mobile-bed equilibrium was first developed using a repeated hydrograph. The experiment was then repeated using a sliding cutoff discharge. The discharges in the hydrograph that were below a given cutoff discharge were reduced to 30% of bankfull discharge. By raising the cutoff discharge, it was possible to study the effect of increasing severity of floodwater extraction on stream morphology. The experiments indicated an increase in sand content on the bed surface and a decrease in the standard deviation of fluctuations in bed elevation with increasing severity of floodwater extraction. 相似文献

Morphological changes that take place in poly(?-caprolactone) upon exposure to carbon dioxide at high pressures have been explored as a function of pressure and temperature. SEM and DSC results point to a competition between CO2-modulated crystallization and pressure-induced phase separation which leads to unique morphologies. At 293 K, exposure to CO2 at pressures up to 45 MPa leads to recrystallization resulting in higher level of crystallinity and higher melting temperatures. Highest crystallinity levels along with distinct crystal morphology were observed after exposure to CO2 at 308 K and 21 MPa. At a higher pressure at this temperature (308 K/34 MPa) polymer undergoes melting, and foaming is achieved during depressurization prior to solidification. At 323 K, the polymer is found to display unique crystal morphology with concave crystal geometry as well as porous domains. The results are discussed in terms of the crystallization and phase separation paths that are followed during exposure to CO2 and the depressurization stages. 相似文献

The deposition morphology of Brownian/non-Brownian particles within a constricted tube is investigated by applying the Brownian dynamics simulation method in the present paper. Two different geometric structures, the parabolic constricted tube (PCT) and the sinusoidal constricted tube (SCT), are adopted. The effect of various types of the total interaction energy curves of the Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek (DLVO) theory, and of the shadow area cast by those deposited particles, on the particles’ collection efficiencies are also examined. For the PCT structure, under the same interaction energy curve, it is found that the non-Brownian particles always own a higher collection efficiency than that of the Brownian particles. Since the deposition location moves closer to the constriction part of the tube, the collection efficiencies of the Brownian/non-Brownian particles increase with the decrease of flow velocity. The SCT behaves differently, it is found that the collection efficiencies of non-Brownian particles are only slightly higher than those of Brownian particles when SCT is adopted. The steep slope of the tube wall near the constriction part of SCT dominates the whole deposition process of Brownian/non-Brownian particles. An acrylated hyperbranched poly(ester-amine) (HPEA) synthesized from piperazine and trimethylolpropanetriacrylate at a molar ratio of 1:1.42 was used as the polycation to form self-assembled films by layer-by-layer dipping with poly(sodium-p-styrenesulfonate) as the polyanion. The surface morphology and hydrophilicity of the films with HPEA as the outmost layer were controlled by adjusting the solution pH of HPEA. Due to the existence of many acrylate groups, the films with HPEA as the outmost layer were further reacted with a series of reagents, including piperazine, piperidine, laurylamine and p-phenylenediamine. The surface reactions of the films depended on both the nature of the reagents and the morphology of the initial surface. In the presence of the strong basic amines, piperazine and piperidine, the films dissolved extensively into the solution. In the case of laurylamine, a modified film with an opaque appearance was obtained due to the crystallization of long alkyl chains. With the weak basic amine p-phenylenediamine as the reactant, the film was effectively modified without any change in the surface morphology. 相似文献

葡萄在全世界种植范围较广,葡萄品种识别对葡萄资源统计、新品种鉴定及遗传资源保护都有重要意义。以成熟叶片为基本材料,不变矩、面积、周长、主叶脉长度和叶柄长度等11维特征向量为基础数据,采用叶片特征选择、图像处理、特征值提取、建立分类模型等方法,运用国际葡萄与葡萄酒组织形态分类方法和改进的欧式距离等技术开发一个基于葡萄叶片数字图像的葡萄品种自动识别软件。共测试17种酿酒和3种野生葡萄,识别率达87%。该方法具有自动化、识别速度快、花费低、省时省力等特点,可应用于葡萄病虫害的识别、杂交新品种双亲的判定等。 相似文献

Miscibility has been investigated in blends of poly(butylene succinate) (PBSU) and poly(vinyl phenol) (PVPh) by differential scanning calorimetry in this work. PBSU is miscible with PVPh as shown by the existence of single composition dependent glass transition temperature over the entire composition range. In addition, the polymer–polymer interaction parameter, obtained from the melting depression of PBSU using the Nishi–Wang equation, is composition dependent, and its value is always negative. This indicates that PBSU/PVPh blends are thermodynamically miscible in the melt. Preliminary morphology study of PBSU/PVPh blends was also studied by optical microscopy (OM). OM experiments show the spherulites of PBSU become larger with the PVPh content, indicative of a decrease in the nucleation density, and the coarseness of PBSU spherulites increases too with increasing the PVPh content in the blends. 相似文献

Gas hydrate formation experiments were conducted with a methane-ethane mixture at 273.7 or 273.9 K and 5100 kPa and using water droplets or water contained in cylindrical glass columns. The effect of kinetic inhibitors and the water/solid interface on the induction time for hydrate crystallization and on the hydrate growth and decomposition characteristics was studied. It was found that inhibitors GHI 101 and Luvicap EG delayed the onset of hydrate nucleation. While this inhibition effects has been reported previously some unusual behaviour was observed and reported for the first time. In particular, the water droplet containing GHI 101 or Luvicap EG was found to collapse prior to nucleation and spread out on the Teflon surface. Subsequently, hydrate was formed as a layer on the surface. Catastrophic growth and spreading of the hydrate crystals was also observed during hydrate formation in the glass columns in the presence of the kinetic inhibitor. Finally, when polyethylene oxide (PEO) was added into the kinetic inhibitor solution the memory effect on the induction time decreased dramatically. 相似文献
