We apply a bifurcation-theoretic approach to the standard Moore–Greitzer compressor model in effort to understand a curious phenomenon. When one forces the actuator to respond sluggishly to commanded inputs, performance of the controller improves dramatically. We show that the behavior can be explained via Hopf–Hopf interactions of surge and rotating stall. Also, we argue that there is a broad class of controllers which possess the general dynamic features responsible for the surprising effectiveness of sluggish actuators.  相似文献

We establish a numerically feasible algorithm to find a simplicial approximation A to a certain part of the boundary of the set of stable (or Hurwitz) polynomials of degree 4. Moreover, we have that . Using this, we build an algorithm to find a piecewise-linear approximation to the intersection curve of a given surface contained in 4 with . We have also devised an efficient computer program to perform all these operations. This paper addresses the distributed control by input–output linearization of a nonlinear diffusion equation that describes a particular but important class of distributed parameter systems. Both manipulated and controlled variables are assumed to be distributed in space. The control law is designed using the concept of characteristic index from geometric control by using directly the PDE model without any approximation or reduction. The main idea consists in the control design in assuming an equivalent linear diffusion equation obtained by use of the Cole–Hopf transformation. This framework helps to demonstrate the closed‐loop stability using some concepts from the powerful semigroup theory. The performance of the proposed controller is successfully tested, through simulation, by considering a nonlinear heat conduction problem concerning the control of the temperature of a steel plate modeled by a nonlinear heat equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions. 研究了医院内感染的带有非线性发生率的抗生素耐药性的时滞传染病模型的稳定性.确定了疾病暴发的阈值R0,运用Lasalle-Liapunov不变集原理和Routh-Hurwitz判据得到了,当R01时无病平衡点是全局稳定的;当R01时,地方病平衡点存在且唯一,对于任意的τ≠0,总能得到在地方病平衡点处的Hopf分支存在的条件.最后通过数值模拟验证了结论的正确性.  相似文献

研究了以滞量为参数的具时滞物价瑞利方程的数值Hopf分支问题。首先利用欧拉方法将得到的时滞差分方程表示为映射,然后利用离散动力系统的分支理论,在瑞利方程具有Hopf分支的条件下,讨论了差分方程Hopf分支存在的条件及连续系统与其数值逼近间的关系,最后证明了当连续系统产生Hopf分支时,其Euler离散将产生Neimark-Sacker分支,进而得到结论:Euler离散使得方程的Hopf分支性质得以保持。  相似文献

选取带有控制系统的旋转弹为研究对象,考虑到控制环节不可避免的时滞及气动非线性效应,从理论上进一步完善了旋转弹动力学模型.从模型的特征方程出发,以时滞、控制增益为分岔参数,对系统的零平衡点稳定性进行了分析,得到平衡点失稳后发生Hopf分岔的临界参数值,并在理论预测的情况下数值模拟了攻角和侧滑角在不同情况下的失稳情况以及Hopf分岔周期解振幅随分岔参数的变化情况.数值结果表明了理论预测的正确性,时滞虽未改变旋转弹锥形运动方式,但是却大幅度的减小了稳定飞行控制增益的取值范围,因此在旋转弹姿态稳定性系统设计过程中时滞的影响不可忽略.  相似文献

This paper deals with the computation of Hopf bifurcation points in fluid mechanics. This computation is done by coupling a bifurcation indicator proposed recently (Cadou et al., 2006) [1] and a direct method (Jackson, 1987; Jepson, 1981) [2] and [3] which consists in solving an augmented system whose solutions are Hopf bifurcation points. The bifurcation indicator gives initial critical values (Reynolds number, Strouhal frequency) for the direct method iterations. Some classical numerical examples from fluid mechanics, in two dimensions, are studied to demonstrate the efficiency and the reliability of such an algorithm.  相似文献

A Faà di Bruno type Hopf algebra is developed for a group of integral operators known as Fliess operators, where operator composition is the group product. Such operators are normally written in terms of generating series over a noncommutative alphabet. Using a general series expansion for the antipode, an explicit formula for the generating series of the compositional inverse operator is derived. The result is applied to analytic nonlinear feedback systems to produce an explicit formula for the feedback product, that is, the generating series for the Fliess operator representation of the closed-loop system written in terms of the generating series of the Fliess operator component systems. This formula is employed to provide a proof that local convergence is preserved under feedback.  相似文献

In this paper, the design of the two-degree-of-freedom optimal Wiener–Hopf controller with asymptotic tracking and disturbance rejection constraints is studied. Based on the solvability conditions and the solution parameterization of Diophantine equations over the stable rational fractional ring M(s), the disturbance rejection problem in the general case is solved. A simple cost function is defined to reflect the transient performance of control signal caused by deterministic signals. Finally, the design of the two-degree-of-freedom optimal Wiener–Hopf controller is presented.  相似文献
