Chevron Mining Announces Intentions to Restart Mountain Pass Mine （Released by US industry news） Englewood, Colo., Nov. 7, 2007- Officials from Chevron Mining Inc. recently announced a mufti-year plan to ramp up operations in preparation for the future restart of their world class rare earth mine in Mountain Pass, Calif. The mine was a substantial part of the rare earth mining industry for nearly half a century and was placed on standby in 2002 due to difficult economic conditions.

2012年1—5月国内采矿业投资3493亿元

近日,国家统计局发布的数据显示,2012年前5个月国内采矿业投资3493亿元,同比增长23%,增速较前4个月回落1个百分点。其中,有色金属矿采选业增长最快,1—5月增长52%。数据显示,在采矿业中,投资额最大的是煤炭开采和洗选业,1—5月完成1405亿元,同比增长25.2%;黑色金属矿采选业完成投资431亿元,同比增
