A theory of stereo image formation is presented that enables a complete classification of all possible stereo views, including non-perspective varieties. Towards this end, the notion of epipolar geometry is generalized to apply to multiperspective images. It is shown that any stereo pair must consist of rays lying on one of three varieties of quadric surfaces. A unified representation is developed to model all classes of stereo views, based on the concept of a quadric view. The benefits include a unified treatment of projection and triangulation operations for all stereo views. The framework is applied to derive new types of stereo image representations with unusual and useful properties. Experimental examples of these images are constructed and used to obtain 3D binocular object reconstructions.  相似文献

为使宁夏电网输配电网全景仿真实验室动态安全评估系统实现对调度生产运行的在线支撑,通过调控中心-实验室在线-离线一体化的功能设计,实现了系统对运行电网安全稳定性进行全方位、多场景、多角度的评估。调控中心在线系统接入电网在线运行数据,运用高性能计算机群并行计算分析,实验室离线支持系统对关键断面进行扩展分析。应用结果表明:动态安全评估系统的实施,深度支撑了电网调度生产运行,同时也验证了设计方案的科学性和合理性。  相似文献

Abstract— A 360°‐viewable cylindrical three‐dimensional (3‐D) display system based on integral imaging has been implemented. The proposed system is composed of a cylindrically arranged electroluminescent (EL) pinhole film, an EL film backlight, a barrier structure, and a transmission‐type flexible display panel. The cylindrically arranged point‐light‐source array, which is generated by the EL pinhole film reconstructs 360°‐viewable virtual 3‐D images at the center of the cylinder. In addition, the proposed system provides 3‐D/2‐D convertibility using the switching of EL pinhole film from a point light source to a surface light source. In this paper, the principle of operation, analysis of the viewing parameters, and the experimental results are presented.  相似文献

Object detection on 360°images is a vital component of 3D environment perception. The existing methods either treat panoramic images (usually represented in equirectangular projection—ERP) as normal FoV images and endure the distortions or project them into the less-distortion format and narrow the FoV, leading to unsatisfactory performance in practical applications. To solve this problem, we propose a dual-projection 360°object detection network named Bip R-CNN, consisting of three modules: a bi-projection feature extractor, a cross-projection region-of-interest (RoI) searcher, and a classification and regression predictor. Specifically, we extract the equirectangular and corresponding dual-cubemap features simultaneously from the input images. Besides, Projection-Inter Feature Fusion and Projection-Intra Feature Fusion are designed to allow the mutual interaction between the bi-projective features and promote the integration of features at different scales, respectively. In the proposed cross-projection RoI Searcher, we search for the bounding box (BBox) locations on cubemap from the corresponding ERP spherical proposals, bridging the RoIs of two different projection formats at feature level. Finally, the cube proposals are used to detect objects in the last predictor module. Considering the scarceness of the existing panoramic dataset (only indoor scenes), we propose an efficient approach to convert conventional datasets into annotated panoramic datasets without manual intervention, increasing the diversity of panoramic datasets. Extensive experiments are conducted on the synthetic and real-world datasets with spherical criteria, demonstrating our superiority to other state-of-the-art solutions.  相似文献

Although it is projected to have significant employment growth in the electrical construction industry, there are not enough young people to join the workforce. It is indispensable for the future of work in construction to explore emerging technologies and effectively attract the younger generation to the construction industry. This paper explores the innovative use of 360-degree immersive environments powered by virtual electricians to tell success stories of the electrical construction trades on the field (VR-Electricians) and understand how such an immersive storytelling approach can attract young people to join the industry. A pretest-posttest design was used for the VR-Electricians assessment. VR-Electricians was found to significantly enhance several aspects of students’ attitude towards the electrical construction industry. VR-Electricians was also rated as a highly usable and easy-to-use system. The outcomes of this study provide construction researchers and practitioners an understanding of how immersive storytelling can be used as a powerful technology-mediated method for attracting students to their field.  相似文献

某电厂2×360MW机组锅炉排粉机运行中出现轴承轴向振动故障,解体检修发现振动故障是排粉机运行过程中2号轴承的内圈与轴颈配合出现松动,造成轴颈和轴凸肩摩擦、轴承内圈与轴颈磨损所致。更换排粉机全套转轴和轴承后故障消除,运行中轴承振动均处于良好状态。  相似文献
